This is a great place for beginners or artists who just want a space to work on their own. I started taking lessons here a few years ago and now I make gifts for everyone. I love coming back again and again!

I really love the Lincoln Square Pottery Studio Learning Center. The teacher, Meg, has taught me SO much in the time I have taken classes with her. I started taking throwing classes and was able to throw two bowls in my very first class!! Nowadays, I almost exclusively take hand building classes. I love how this studio allows for a lot of creativity and learning for a very reasonable price. Meg is great at giving advice and standing back and let people learn for themselves. I really, REALLY recommend this place to anyone who just wants to start somewhere with ceramics. You need ZERO experience to take classes. You will leave with so much more than some awesome new ceramics. On warning though...its addictive once you start!! LOL

Miss Meg Biddle is to teaching as Morgan Freeman is to narrating. She and her trusty squad of volunteers create a warm, inviting space in which any level of experience is welcome. I walked in without ever touching clay let alone slapping it on a wheel to coerce a bowl from its schlopp. I am now confident enough in my skills to make vessels large enough to bust a mule’s back.

I can not say enough about how amazing this center is for aspiring artists and beginning potters alike! I have been a student at this center for 3 years. Classes are reasonably priced and a wide variety of classes are offered from beginning wheel throwing to intermediate/advanced wheel throwing, handbuilding, mini-sessions, and even kids classes on Saturdays! The instructor, Meg, truly loves teaching others her craft and it shows! She offers a balanced approach of helping when asked while still encouraging individual artistic exploration. If youre in need of a creative outlet or a stress release, this is the place for you! Few things compare to having a stressful day, smashing some clay and making something lovely when its all said and done.
