It was nice to walk there, but there is not much to see. I guess it could be beautiful have a walk during summer ️
It is as isolated as can be expected from the City as it can get while still being in the City. Informative history plaques with a cul de sac walkway and gazebo accessed through a long wooden boardwalk that enters from a tucked away penisula protected Marina. Island end Park offers benches, and tables and good views of Bostons skyline from a fairly serene setting.
I love this little park, it has a great view and the gazebo and benches are nice to sit and take in the day. The only problem I have is the solar lights leading to the park dont work and if you want to walk the boardwalk at night its pretty dark. Also it seems as if the marsh has never been cleaned and theres a lot of human garbage littering the waters edge. But if you can overlook that its still a wonderful little hide away that leads to the Mary OMally park. Great for taking a walk (or walking your dog too) and enjoying the view.
I loved this park
I walk out here once in a while with my dogs. I enjoy looking at the boats waiting for there next adventures.
You should start your visit to the state park from here.
