Hard to believe that gritty Chelsea was once covered with sprawling farms, and this 350 year old, perfectly preserved pre-Colonial farmhouse dominated the landscape from high atop its hill off Parker Street. The Cary family lived here from the 1760s right up until the 20th Century and now the house is a museum of life through many periods, and is open by appointment and for special events. We visited during the annual Chelsea Art Walk.

I have grown up going here. My grandparents helped to run it. It is a second home to me.
