Place has gone downhill pretty bad. Used to be a really nice spot. Looks like management has changed because the overall character of the club has changed. I also noted in several incidents that security is unnecessarily disrespectful at the door. Maybe the shutting down of suite is inevitable with the changing of the epicenter. I’d say its probably overdue. Would not recommend anyone go here. There are much better options for nightlife in charlotte these days

My client and his lady went to Club Suite on Saturday August 31. I contacted Ian Jones to reserve a section and 2 bottles of champagne(Ace of Spades and Moët Rosé) for $800(quoted by Ian Jones). My client informed me that the staff charged him more than what was quoted prior to his arrival. He spoke to the manager about what he was quoted. The manager tried to say that that would not be the price and he was never quoted that. His words of choice were disrespectful and said I know you’re not arguing about a couple more dollars. The fact of the matter is no one else in that club had a bottle of Ace of Spades and as an business owner he made the wrong decision by trying to argue about a couple more dollars(which the amount didn’t matter). My client was in town to view the club to throw a party there in upcoming months. The manager did not know of that and just lost a big business deal. I do not recommend this club based of poor management, and no ac inside of the club.To management. Always treat your customers with respect. Especially someone who is spending money inside of your establishment.

Awesome night club!

This place used to be pretty decent, but sometime over summer 19, they changed the spot to 21+ every night. I wouldnt be surprised if it shutdown similar to Kandy Bar when they did the same.

The only trendy nightclub in the entire Carolinas...and the only place to see and be seen. Bottle service is exceptional, the drinks are handcrafted and reasonably priced, and the variety of music keeps things interesting. Overall a great place.

Had a great time this past weekend at this nightclub in Charlotte. Im from Arizona and Im a big night life and so its nice to see that Charlotte has much to offer here for nightlife. Great Club

If you’re going to have a dress code enforce it every night with every person and make it clear of what the “proper dress” is for a nightclub don’t just pick and choose...chinese guy with the beard is the worst bouncer there and if you see him might as well turn around

This club is right next to the Marriott AC and let me tell y’all. Do not get a room on that side of the hotel where you can see the club. It’s loud and they don’t even play that good of music because I can hear it from here. It sounds like I’m in the club. Anywho thanks for listening to my ted talk.

I really have no idea what everyone is talking about whites only and racist! That couldnt be further from the truth. Myself (Caucasian ) and my boyfriend (African-American) went to Suite for the first time this weekend as we are not from Charlotte and wanted to go dancing. We had absolutely no problem getting in and it was free!!! The bartenders werent bad. We had a cute little blonde girl who was fairly friendly. The music was great! Current hip hop and R&B ( dont know a racist club that would play hip hop and not let black people in). Not only did me and my black boyfriend not have any problem getting in but the club was packed wall to wall and well over half the club was black people! I think half these comments are insane. This club was great! We had a great time and will definitely return the next time we are in Charlotte!!

The majority of the staff are just rude, if you dont like your job, maybe dont work there..? Especially the bouncers, I get you have a job but if you need to see my credit card to make sure my valid drivers license matches, youre not too good at your job.

Had some friends from out of town come down and we wanted to go in through the second floor entrance. So the bouncer said I had sneakers on so I couldnt get in through there and I had to go upstairs to the third floor and see if they will let me in. I was shocked before I couldve sworn I seen someone go in that had sneakers so I didnt trip I waited and saw a crew that had sneakers and they let that guy in. He is black just like me but somehow I was discriminated against. We tried talking with the bouncer as to why the dude had sneakers on and he yelled and said I TOLD YALL TO GO UPSTAIRS. Now my temper has been good but my friend lost his temper and was about to fight the bouncer. Luckily I held my friend back because I wasnt going to let this bouncer ruin our night out since they were not from here. So we went in through the third floor and the guy that was taking the money gave us a price per person and my friend was getting out the money to cover and the guy rushed us said he has a line. That is not our problem you want to treat ALL customers with care like their time is important because we can go spend that money somewhere else. This place use to be good but it has went down hill for the past years.

I was attack by the security after a guy pushed me when all I was doing was talking to him. My wallet went missing and I stayed up all night trying to call and none picked up. I will never being going here again and will make sure people know about the trigger happy security.

Kind of an okay place to have fun at but dont bother getting in contact with them. Whats the point of having contact information when you guys dont EVER pick up the phone or respond back with via email? Ive been calling since october 30, every other day and guess what? No one ever picks up the phone. I sent an email exactly a week before this review and again, still no response. Id be surprised if they even respond to this.

The bartenders were very great in my opinion. However, this nightclub is quite small, so it can be overcrowded and tight. The music was decent.

I use to love this place . I use to recommend it to everyone. However, tonight November 8th was the worse experience of my life. When they hire people maybe they should’nt focus solely on looks, but on customer service. The bartenders are very rude and unknowledgeable about their own place of employment. I asked a simple question and got a rude response from two bartenders.While the last time I came to this establishment I asked and the bartender answered without hesitation. I’m not sure if this establishment even cares how their guest are treated (which they should because we are what keep them open) anywho yeah. The African-American bartender was nice I’ll stick to the Kandy Bar from now on they are sweeter Oh thought I was finished ... well i’m not. When I was first reading the comments I wondered what everyone was talking about, when they said this place was full of racist people because every time I came to suite it was pleasant, but now i’m fully aware of what they’re talking about smh.

I chose Suite to have my 23rd birthday party. I corresponded with the VIP MANAGER for an entire week leading up to the event. On the day of, he did not call me like he to confirm. He instead texted me 1hr before I was due to arrive. I confirmed via text.When I arrived my table was sold and the manager would not come out to talk with me & my guests. This was so embarrassing and unprofessional. As my guests arrived they were told the club was to capacity when it was not. I will not recommend this club to anyone.

Came for an office Christmast Party, the venue is nice but the staff seems like they would rather be somewhere else. A better set of bartenders could set this place off though.

Went for a Bachata vs. Reggaeton night and they only played 1 Spanish song the 2 hours I was there. Someone went to talk to the DJ to see when he was gonna start the event but the dj kept saying he was going to and never did. We ended up leaving at 12am and went to la revolution. Dont think Ill be back!!!

First Ill say regarding the discrimination comments... I wouldnt worry too much about getting into this place. If you feel discriminated against then you have a right to be upset, but youre not missing out on much except 1) $h*tty drinks...I mean really. Who can screw up an apple martini? Suite can. Lousy drinks that are overpriced 2) a setting full of douche bags and 3) to top if off doormen (or bouncers) who are some of the most rude, overly aggressive @$$holes youll meet and have zero communication skills. Im sorry to say but youre nothing really. Youre the gatekeepers for a bar that sucks and you have some sort of power trip by standing at the door at this dump. Good for you... if it makes you feel better thats great. And by the way, when you stand like a big bad @$$ consider getting your flabby @$$ to the gym more often.

They practice revise rasisim. They will be nice to certain people if you are white they will laugh in your face behind you back as you walk away. There was a private party going on, which i understand, but there is no need to laugh your asses off as i walked away. I will spend my $300 bucks at another bar.

First I will start by saying it is a nice looking establishment, very nice lights. After that I dont have many good things to say about it. Staff looks like they hate their jobs. Bathroom guy gave me a hard time because I didnt tip him everytime I went to the bathroom. Drinks are over priced compared to other places in Charlotte. Music is mediocre at best.

I have called over 5 times and left meggages, witen multipal emails over the last 3 months and have not gotten a singel response. I am from CT and was looking online at night clubs for a vip room for a bachlorette weekend and found yuor place to be so nice looking and was very interested. However the managment and or staff are so unprofessional in NEVER getting back to me and i am extreamly disapointed. I understand how people get busy and possably one email or call could have slpiied throught the cracks but not 5 calls and 4 emails. Thanks for not helping me at all and basicaly telling me my money is no good there. Hopefuly you dont treat paying customers like trash like you did me.

The worst place I have ever been

Free cover for about the first 60-90 min. $5 domestics all night. Sound system was leveled just right and decor was both beautiful and lively. The outdoor patio is relatively quiet and feels like a second venue. Patio has free comfortable seating, wheras most clubs in other cities would make you buy a VIP table to have seats that nice. True to Charlotte form, ppl here were very friendly. I talked to maybe 5 groups last night and got warm responses from all. Dance floor picked up after about midnight and was mostly hip hop/top 40. No EDM, which I really missed as a bass-head.I believe some of the 1-star reviews here are written by people who either had personal problems (drank too much, started drama, etc) or just arent club ppl. Ive been here twice as well as clubs across the country and this is one of the best, at least for the price point. The better clubs, like the Vegas megaclubs, are far more expensive, exclusive, and high pressure. This place is great, not only to turn up, but also to relax outside. Come w a good attitude and have some fun!

I have never experienced such an awful service. The bartender with the Afro and pretty skin was so extremely rude to my group of friends. He asked are you stupid? No wonder they gave away free $25 gift cards and we threw them on the ground. I will never visit Suite again.

I told myself for about a week not to post anything, but when customers came back into my establishment apologizing for the way I was treated by an employee from here I just had to say something. I am the manager of the Smoothie King within the epicentre and I am very upset with Stacie. Friday July 27th around 9:50 an employee came in and ordered a few smoothies, I asked (like I do any other customer ordering a lot of smoothies on $5 Friday) if next time you guys call ahead this way we can have it ready for pick up when you come in. I asked nicely. I then received a phone call asking for my name, I gave it and was then hung up on. The following Friday, August 3rd around 8:50, Stacie was in the building and I approached her and her friend trying to see if they got the suggestion of calling ahead. Stacie loudly boasted about a negative review she left on my google page for my store, which I knew nothing about, stating I was loud, rude, and embarrassing and how they were almost denied service. 1) I would never deny a customer service no matter the time of entry, 2) Im nice to everyone, 3) Stacie was not the one whom I made the request to, so her leaving the negative review was not necessary, and 4) to the one I made the request to she completely twisted what I said to make me look like the bad guy. Also, when I tried to just make q mends and apologize Stacie loudly said You dont have to apologize to me, you were rude, but Ill forward the message to the other employee... Ive had no issues with any of the employees before and I will continue to treat everyone the same, I just feel that Stacie was loud, rude and embarrassing to the point that customers came back and apologized on her behalf.

Great music, drinks & crowd was friendly!

Bar tenders, the female ones, tend to be moody and unhelpful to other female customers. We plan to tip just like the men do, but I guess the men tip more. If youre going, get a female to flag down the male bar tenders. If youre a male, find a female to go with you because the females clearly pick who they are good-enough to serve. Its honestly not very well set up at the bar. Drink before you go. Youll save a ton, anyway.The music was excellent and loud and the dance floor isnt huge and is in between the bathrooms, VIP, and bar area. They have a patio if you need to catch some air outside, which helps when it gets too crowded but of course there are a ton of smokers outside so you either get pushed in a corner and get really hot, or go outside and cough the entire time. Wear closed toed shoes, drinks spill a a lot and you might step on glasses that are rolling on the floor. They card so at least you know its an official place that wont have police crashing constantly for sneaky under-agers which is nice! But they will refuse to let you in if you wear anything they dont approve of. Went with a mixed race group and denied one because of his shoes; luckily I told him to bring backups because I knew they were like that; they let him in after that but I sort of made sure they were going to let him in. Being a woman you magically have power that is unfair but nice when you want to get your male friend in.The dancers are okay, nothing to brag about at all. Honestly they look 18, if not younger. Theyre short which doesnt help identify their age. They have done renovations so hopefully the few kinks they had will be worked out.

Dj sucks monkey balls. He cant read his crowd...never finishes a song. Drink are from a pre-made mix. Dont look to get your moneys worth from the drinks. Only plus is we got in free.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever been. They are a bunch of arrogant jerks that thinks their crap dont stink. If you dont have money to pay off the bouncers you are subject to poor treatment. Was in town, stopped by, and got kicked out for saying hi to the wrong person. Literally said nothing and was removed. If youre am arrogant ass please, this place is for your, otherwise stay away.

I usually dont post negative things about clubs, but this is a must. Me and my wife and a friend from Milwaukee went to the Suite nightclub this past Saturday, and before we went I called to ask what the dress code was, cool. I was told no athletic gear, so I had on a black shirt, black slacks and Timberlands. When I got to the club, I was turned away by the head bouncer, because of my boots. Last time I checked, Timberlands are not athletic gear, unless you call hunting a sport. Anyway, I see guys going in with Dirty cowboy boots, and dirty shirts, but they can still get in??? The head bouncer was too busy letting women in that looked like they were going to prom, not coming to party. My wife and her friend poked their head in the Suite, and it was straight wack! I am so glad I didnt go home to change shoes. Basically we went down the street to the Bar of Charlotte, and the DJ was so good no one left the dance floor. If you are coming from out of town, please pass up the bubble, the suite and those wack epicenter clubs and walk down the street to Bar of Charlotte or Cosmos. That is where the real party goers go! if you like good Hip Hop, R&B etc. thats where you need to be!

My boyfriend and I have been to Suite in the past and never had a problem getting in, until last weekend. I have never experienced anything like this at any bar or club anywhere in the world. My boyfriend and I (who are Caucasian) were in line at Suite and waiting to meet up with some old co-workers of mine (who are African American). We made our way to front of the line, showed our IDs, got through, then realized there was a cover so we decided to wait on my friends to make sure they were ok with paying a cover as well. The bouncer said no problem, youll just have to get back in line when your friends come. My friends arrived 10 minutes later and we proceeded into the line for Suite. We get to the front to show our IDs and I hear the bouncer say, you have to have a membership to get in. Although, it struck me odd because 10 minutes before he did not mention anything about needing a membership, one of my friends actually had a membership and showed the bouncer her card. The bouncer proceeded to say that all of us needed a membership to get in and refused to let us in. I could not believe what I was hearing, as 10 minutes before he was letting my boyfriend and I in and as soon as my friends, who are African American, show up, its a different story. Ive never experienced discrimination as blatant as I had at Suite. When I confronted him about letting us in, and not my friends, he had no answer and would not make eye contact with me. I am mortified that my friends had to experience this and am still in complete shock. I highly recommend that people think twice before supporting an establishment that practices this type of discrimination.
