I had a great time last night. The music, people,drinks, and FOOD especially was amazing. I need to know where I can get some food like that this afternoon. This place made my vacation the best. I would definitely not go to this place.For one its shady as shady as hell.And I see the responses from the owner replying back their nasty comments who in the world would really come back to this place.

On the inside they play reggae and outside they play some good hip hop. I like that pretty much everyone is dancing and not on the walls starring.I took away three stars, one for safety. Ladies make sure you come with a group or a man. The Jamaican men do not like for you to tell them no for a dance. They will grab you. Also a lot of shady people hang in the parking lot to the left of the club.Another star was taken away for biased pricing. If you’re American you will pay $5-$10 more than everyone else. Just pay attention and you will see.Finally, parking is horrible.The two stars are for the music and cool dance moves.

Got there at 2 Am during CIAA weekend they over charged at the door $60 then get inside and they wouldn’t even serve me a shot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME at this hole in the wall.

Went here with my girlfriend and her kbestfriend for my girlfriends birthday. When we pull into the parking lot a man approach my vehicle and ask me to park my car next to a Honda that was already parked, cool no problem. I did what the man instructed us to do then another man with a carribean accent came to my car with attitude and rudely told me to straighten my car then proceeded to yell at the lady behind me to straighthen her car. I ended up leaving and never going inside. I will never come back here again and warn others not to give them your business.

I have lived in Charlotte since 2001 and have always wanted to visit Crystal’s . But based on the comments from patrons and the owners remarks...I will have to pass. I don’t want to take a gamble on IF I’m going to have a bad experience...when I’m expecting a good one. And that makes a world of difference to me. No more places to go for the 40+ crowd in Charlotte I guess. I just want to have fun, dance and enjoy some good Caribbean food. ???

A great laid back place to hear great music, get good drinks, and fantastic island food. I love the outside addition to the facility. I do wish there were heaters for the winter or colder days. I did not recall seeing any. Drink and food prices are not outrageous. Dance till you sweat, hookah to your hearts content, and eat and drink took your satisfaction.

I had left a review of this place based on my experience 2 years ago. I vowed never to go back but my friend literally pulled me there for her birthday this past weekend. My review still stands.Ladies be careful here. Drugs, aggressive men who wont take no, lack of security...you name it.

I love love loved this place. I went with a few girlfriends cause we were in town for a wedding, and kind of found it by surprise. Everyone was soooo nice, we danced til about 4:00am cause the music was sooo good. We even made friends and got breakfast with some local girls from Charlotte the next day. Is everyone from the South this friendly? Great time, great food, reasonably priced drinks. I can’t wait to come back!

Its an okay place, no wow factor, nothing special. Not much drinks selections, tends to get crowded sometimes, limited tight parking. Last time i tried getting into the club on a Saturday night, they were charging $25 entrance fee. Went downtown Charlotte and had a better night.That was the last straw for me, never going back. If you wear a jersey...be prepared to pay $30 extra dollars. Even if you’re reppin the home team!! Where do they do that at!!? For a non-luxury club experience. We’re good on that.

The jamaican food they sell is excellent, they have hookah, drinks and good music.

If you want to just vibe and cool this is the place for you !! Im completely in love with the place the inside is a club type setting and the outside patio is chill and theres a silent party with the headphones. The also make amazing food, its to die for.

First of all. The music and everything is amazing. Me being from the Virgin Islands(St. Croix) thats the number one spot for me. It brings me back to my hometown. Makes me feel like Im home like thats the place I need to be at every Fridays and Saturdays. I have been there two times since moving to North Carolina. But there is one big problem. Last night became my last time there. I was rudely escorted out through the back door by some lady. Who aint even saw what happened. I got into an altercation with some guy at the bathroom. He put his hands on me and I went off. Im from the islands what you expect. So I argued with him. So his friends held me back and the guy went off into the crowd. So some lady came playing super hero and just escorted me out like she aint even asked me what was wrong or anything. And then when we got outside she still didnt ask me what was wrong. She started putting her hands to my face and all that. Wasnt trying to hear my side of the story at all. So for that Im never going back.

Seems like a cools spot. Never been though. Kinda wish they cleaned the parking lot after the homeless guy that chills there during the week. A shopping cart in the lot is not a good look.

Saint in da house. Love my Caribbean people. Love my culture. If you love Caribbean food and music..Dis iz da spot to chill, eat and dance. Music good but a little more SOCA to represent the other Caricom islands would make the vibe better. Stays open late just like NY clubs. Love it there!

Had a great time allstar weekend

Had a blast! Brooklyn was definitely in their building. Visiting From Connecticut originally from Brooklyn DJs was off the hook definitely a place to visit if you like reggae music good food and good vibes

This place used to be really fun a few months back but now it seems to have drastically changed. I used to love coming here because of the music and it was cheap/affordable but recently I went on a Saturday and not only was I very displeased with the DJ (he focused more on playing hip hop music, that no one wants to dance to, than reggae & played the some of the same songs repeatedly), but I was also turned off by the fact that before you even step in the door they charged $20 for parking and $20 at the door. Now I expect to spend money when I go out but not $40 JUST to get in when Im in the hood! If you dont pay for parking, then you chance your car getting broken into because the neighborhood is rough!! My last straw with this place was when I tried giving them one more chance & my wallet, a friends phone, and other small things were stolen out of my car! Im not paying a ridiculous amount to just get in the door on a REGULAR night, listen to sucky music, and get my things stolen. Im good.

I love this spot but its for little kids! The dudes that be dancing are rude and will get mad if you touch them because they want to act like theyre invisible and keep bumping into you. I need to find a reggae thats 25 and up #grownandsexy

Great except the card reader declined my debit card repeatedly. I showed the owner that the transactions went through on my end via my banking app but they still did not accommodate me.

Music is awesome. Even though Im a person that doesnt care for reggae music...thats all this club plays and I be jamming!!! The drinks are pricey but they give you a lot! I hate they only have 1 bar tho. That is crazy! The club has 3 sections but only 1 bar. The food is good too!! Irie vibes has a food truck out back every saturdsay selling cultural foods. They also sell hookah out on the patio

Whatever you do just don’t park in the lot where u have to pay $20-40 extra for. Because once you’re in, YOURE STUCK. Only at greedy black establishments are the people so selfish and thoughtless. The worst night ever! God forbid there’s a real fire or worse, a shoot out. Everyone’s doomed. That parking lot has gotta be in violation of the fire code. The bathrooms are disgusting and the thugs in the parking lot are horribly rude. I guess this dump is your classic ‘whole in the wall’. I waited an hour to get out of prison, I mean the parking lot. The thought of these clowns charging for that type of torment is still messing with my mind even as I write this review. I’m a simple person that hardly ever complain or write reviews, but this establishment is so poor in customer relations it’s almost heartbreaking. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS ‘SHENDIG’ THEY CALL A CLUB.

Best reggae spot in Charlotte....good music and food and it stays open til 4am

Been here many times. Keep trying to give it a shot unforuntaly it gets worse every time. Price to get in depends on how nice you are to the guy at the door/or how well you know him. If you give the money directly to him it goes in his pocket (shady). DJs are okay if you dont mind listening to the entire song. Bar is okay. (No complaints) Alcohol serving stops at 2am depending on who you know at the bar (shady) Always hot as hell inside so be ready to sweat just standing there although they did seem to add an extra fan (really need to get a/c situation figured out) Men there as extremely rude (be ready to be touched by random men while minding your business) never ate from here but friends say the food is good. Outside is okay if you dont mind the smoking. Only came here because its the only reggae spot I know in Charlotte. Wont be back cant deal with the rude men here (beyond the business owners control) but business owners should look into their staffing, get some better security, and AC. Wish them luck.

Poor customer service. Randomly hike up their prices. No standard prices. The club be popin but they be tryna g (get over) on people.

Cool... Hard to get a drink there.. Every drink is 10 $ 20$ to get in

They allowed me to enter by paying with my check card.... once I looked at my statement, they over charged me. They asked for $20 at the door but charged me $40. We were in there for at least 45 minutes and then they kicked everyone out! After getting kicked out we asked someone what happened and they told us someone had alcohol. If thats the case, they should have kicked that person out. If you go there please just bring cash.

Place to go if you like getting shot at.

Began by charging 20 for parking. Then big angry guy (assuming the owner( started yelling $20 to get inside when website says 10. Just out of nowhere changes price! At the damn door! Still we were trying to have a good night so paid to get inside. No direction what so ever. Slid money under a 2in slit in a window and couldnt even see the persons face and barely their fingertips. Then was yelled at to go into a door to get in bc no one told us what to do. Not allowed to go outside once inside but there are no signs that say that and there arent wrist bands to prove you paid. Thinking it was going to be packed, got inside and the bar was half full and a lot smaller than I thought for a $20 entrance fee. We waited 45 mins for two shots, which were priced so high I could have actually bought a full bottle of hennesy and been more satisfied. Its just a small rinky dink place they could jazz it up a little. I was under the impression that there was food and hookah stations. Nothing. The food is like a food cart place and there arent tables so they basically expect you to stand and eat. Not worth it. Go somewhere classier. And dj wasnt that good. Ive had better plalists on Spotify.

The owner got men to pull knifes out in 4 ladies. The ladies bathroom has a trap door where the men that work there came in while one of the ladies was in there. When they told the man threat he should be coming in while it is in use he closed the door then came back with others. It was a big think n the owner kicked the lady n her friends out with out any regards fur l for them
