This is one of the cleanest public bathrooms that I’ve ever seen. They need to provide more toilet paper, though.

Beautiful memorization of our American history. Pays homage to the lives lost during the Civil War. Excellent that Charleston reveres their history and provides the ability to reflect on past issues so future generations can not repeat the same mistakes. Location is right against the water which provides a serene ambience for reflection.

Coming here in the morning is totally worth it. Seeing the harbor, and all the ships leaving, catching a glimpse of some dolphins...lots of birds. Its really nice. Going for a walk through the garden is nice as well. I like this part of the city. Mostly all of Charleston is beautiful though

Beautiful place entrenched in history. The large central monument of General Moultrie faces the battery, the fort was founded as defenders in the War of Independence, the American Revolution.

I talked to them on the phone to set up a meeting and when I met them in person they told me they were surprised I was white because I didn’t sound it over the phone. When I told them that was kind of racist they said they couldn’t be racist because they liked Oprah. Weird flex but ok.

A beautiful park but once again, stained by the hatred and racism represented in the statue.

Beautiful historic place. The ignorant and uneducated people in todays society do not understand history. Everything isnt about race until attention seekers make it. Dont like the statue? Go cry and post useless, derogatory comments on the internet.

Beautiful park with various monuments to not only confederate soldiers but others as well. We were lucky enough to have met two men that did civil war re-enactments from the 27th regiment.
