Excellent great hall for activities, large and beautiful. Friendly staff and volunteers. Great preschool work really excellent teachers and director. A true treasure in downtown Chapel Hill. Every December there is a Christmas pageant all children are welcome to join and the choir too is open to all. Highly recommend checking out this progressive organization.

Chapel of the Cross is a main stay in the realms of community activism. When the board of election picks your church as a polling location, its pretty safe to say you are recognized in the community. The church is an amazing structure. The more I look, the more I see. Even without the Moorehead Planetarium next door this place on its own is amazing. They are well respected in our community.
Lovely Gothic architecture at this big, old church. It feels warm and sacred and spiritual all at once. The staff seems very caring. I love the giant old magnolia tree out front where you can have your ashes buried directly in the ground. The location on Franklin Street next to the planetarium is very convenient. I wish I had visited when I lived in a dorm around the corner instead of waiting for a funeral 35 years later.
I went to the preschool. I found the teachers were loving and kind to the kids.
Nice inside. Went for a social gathering. This would be a great place for large gatherings and such.
Welcoming community with a beautiful english-style sanctuary and chapel. Offers traditional services, variety of prayer groups, and activities for all ages (children, young adults, 20s & 30s, etc).
Spiritual, elegant liturgies, brilliant sacred classical music, intellectual sermons
A respite from lifes fast pace
