Nice rec center in fairfax county. Very big parking lot which was empty because of covid. We went to the playground behind the building which was very nice. There is also a trail right next to the playground. Although it is a dirt trail, there are several benches and a bird watching station, and you can also connect with another paved path near the creek/stream.

I have been going here for over 4 years. The facility is super clean and the staff are nice and knowledgeable.

The pools are great! They dont overchlorinate the water or use tons of bromine like other rec centers. It is one of the few indoor pools where I can swim laps without wanting to claw my burning eyes out of my skull. The kid area and slides are pretty cool too, not a big water park but good for kids to play for a couple of hours.

Fairly large indoor pool with small spray area for little kids and a two long slides for older kids/adults. There is a wading area and a deeper side. The locker rooms are a good size and there are family changing rooms too. No need to bring a lock, coin lockers are available. You do need to bring your own towels. Safety vests are available free of charge. Plenty of lifeguards keep watch to ensure safety and there is a short break every hour. There is plenty of parking and its free! I think the locker rooms and family changing areas could be a little cleaner. I also saw a lot of street shoes in the pool area which a lot of other indoor pools do not allow to help maintain cleanliness. I would come here again with my kids.

Great place for lots of parking staff friendly and helpful you have a day pass for $12.50 which isn’t too bad swim till 9 pm.Lockers downstairs you have a hot tub kids pool slide and the bigger pool on the other side.

The facilities here are really great. They have two pools and a great workout room. The staff are usually very helpful and engaged but many are volunteers. The lifeguards are great and always watching out for all the kiddos. The price for this place is really way too high. A typical gym membership is much lower even for a place with similar facilities. We go here bc they have the big indoor pool and it’s close to the house. Sometimes they have deals that make more sense financially and if you want to go here, wait for those.

One of the worst rec center of Fairfax county, Staff is not helpful, they have rude attitude and trainer are very unhelpful and unprofessional. I have joined for my 2 kids swimming classes, they do not give full time for training and they do not allow for extra time for practice. Overall, all of the staffs need to take customer service class before they join in this rec center otherwise it is waste of money, time and our taxes. Thank you.

Very bad customer service from de morning manager....today Sunday 2/2/20.

Clean and well maintained facility. 3 main pools: lap pool, pool for toddlers, and kiddie pool with a nice water playground and a big tunnel slide. Keep in mind that they block out a lot of lanes for swimming lessons, so if you come during their peak hours, the chance is you will share lanes with 2 or 3 others.

Threw my daughters birthday party here. Everything was great! The facility is amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely wouldnt mind doing it again next year!

A great place but I have one complaint. The pool is too cold!! We love going to the pool but I have a hard time with the 82 degree water and my kids are done after 1 hour of swimming. They are cold and want to go home. Is it possible Cub Run to turn the temp up a little? Other indoor pools we have used have been much warmer.

Lovely entry way. Clean and well-lit. Very helpful front desk staff. Love the fitness room. Plenty of equipment to choose from for my workout. Lap pool is excellent for swimming laps. I usually have one lane to myself. Lifeguards are very attentive to the activity in the pool.

Great play pool for younger kids. My 3 and 4 year old loved it. Very safe with plenty of lifeguards. Clean environment. There was also a nice playground right outside and plenty of parking.

We used their water park today and it was a good experience.

The slides are awesome one goes outside and inside (the best tube slide EVER)!!!! We love this place so much and the people are friendly! It has some diving boards but not sure when they are open for the public! I recommend this place for kids and adults(it has a kiddy center for ages 0-7 but the rest is for older people and younger if they want)!!!!!!

Great place for the kids all year round! Shes the swimming lessons are great too!

Great facilities and staff.

Took our 18 month old son to the water park portion and he loved it. Lots of stuff to do and the water is shallow enough he can play in a large area of it.I was a little confused why they made everyone get out of the pool for 10 minutes at the top of the hour, but not a huge deal.I strongly suggest this as a day trip for people with kids who enjoy slides and lazy rivers.

One of the best facilities in the area, great staff and programs for all ages and a great program to take care of the forest behind the facility. And once a year all the walking paths are cleaned off getting reading for summer usage of the wonderful forest and walking areas.

We just had our 4-yr olds birthday party here and the experience was EXCELLENT.The staff was phenomenal, the price was reasonable, the party room was set up and ready to go on time, and the pool was clean and perfect for the kids! The staff cleaned up after us and were always asking what else could be done.We got to play in the indoor pool for 1:15 and then had the party room for another hour. The larger party room opened up into a huge playground with 2 large structures which was ours to use as we pleased.When we were in the pool we were very happy to see how on it the lifeguards were. They were never sitting and staffed well. They were nice but very focused on their job. The pool also offers the kids floatation vests at no additional cost in various sizes.We will be back!

Nice facility with gym and is good place for kids to learn swimming.

My son smashed his finger with an 80 lb dumbbell, opening a gash that required several stitches to close. There was blood all over the floor. One staff member whisked my son away to tend to his finger. I started cleaning up the blood, and another staff member asked me to stop, and he immediately began cleaning up the floor. The staff was super helpful and kind.This facility has all of the equipment for a great work out, and a helpful staff.

We’ve attended many parties here as well as the pool (for leisure). The kids love the indoor playground in the pool, the lazy river and whirlpool. Staff have always been friendly and lifeguards are always on point.

Great place to hang out with family and friends indoors but all the fun of an outdoor water park.

Excellent and affordable county rec center. Fab staff and a fully equipped gym with a variety of fitness programs offered.

The pools slides dont open until 4:00PM. They dont show that they open at 4:00PM on the website. You also have to be 16 to enter the hot tub.

So used to work for cub run. And noticed some the reviews.The reason you must be 16 is because of county law. And just because slides open at 4 and its not posted on website. They have it posted there in the facility next to slides. And you must be a certain height for slides for safety. So that we know you can stand. I highly doubt your daughter was touch innapropriately your probably butt hurt that she got rescued.Personally for me ive made several rescues there and not once has one person complained except for a lame dad who complained because he wasembarassed his daughter couldnt swim. The guards there are among the most highly trained life guards. They have 10 seconds to scan their zones and recognize a guest in distress. And additional 20 to get to and render aid as needed. If you ever see something at the bottom of a pool put by a head guard leave it its to test the guards and they are to get in after it.

Look elsewhere for swimming lessons. The Aquatics staff and director were rude and unprofessional. Started my child in swimming lessons and the instructor was rude to the kids and didnt offer any encouragement when the kids were struggling to do what she wanted them to do. I left feeling sick to my stomach. While I was on the phone with the director trying to go over options, she was rude.Another time I called and was on hold at the front desk for 25 mins. I called back and they simply had forgotten about me.They need new management and an aquatics staff overhaul.

The pool is really nice with the slides and open swim. The swim instructors can be hit or miss. The gym area looks nice and clean.

We have been using swim pool since 2 years. Its good place.

My son loves it here. 3 indoor waterslides, lazy river, whirl pool, swim area, kiddie play area, fountains, and great lifeguard coverage.

It was my first time and my family loved it going back today dont hesitate to go it is nice and lots of things for your kids to do.

It is a great place, just changing station and bathroom need to be clean more often
