Great spot for kids of all ages! Brought the little toddler here and she loved every minute. The beach was especially fun and the sand was really soft. People left some toys there but better to bring your own. Lifeguard on duty even in kiddie pool. They take safety extra seriously in this water park! Plenty of benches available when we were there late summer. You can’t bring outside food/drinks but there’s a cafe inside. Locker rooms can use some cleaning but at the volume of crowds I can see that it would be challenging.

Great water park. Very large so even with the parking lot full there was lots of room.

We love this water park. We went 2-3 times a week this summer wih the season pass. I really respect the life guards here because they work so hard all the time. Their eyes never, even for a second, wander off somewhere else. They are always working by the protocol even if it sometimes turns out to be a false alarm. They saved so many lives this summer!!

Great place to bring the whole family while camping at Bull Run Regional Park! There is a zero entry pool for toddlers and shallower pools and play areas with smaller water slides for little children. Two large water slides for adults and children over 48 inches kept our 10 year old grandson happy. We all enjoyed the anticipation of the large bucket dumping water on us at the water splash area. Since we were campers we got a reduced rate and also after 4:00 pm it was Buy one get one free admission. We got there after a hot day of sightseeing and swam and slid until closing time at 7:00 pm.

Its a great place, the seating is amazing including the temperature of the pool water. Although most workers there seem like teens or young adults . Moving in to the water park with the big bucket, The slides doesnt have enough grip to stop the kids from slipping on bare concrete. I believe child safety is not fully secure here.

Fun place ~$30 for 4 people. A lil run down, but excellent diversion. Lots of different places for a toddler to enjoy, along with big slides for the big kids, and a HUGE pool for the swimmers. My toddler LOVED the big water bucket, that tipped about every 3 minutes.

Really liked this place for a family with small children. The splash pad/tower/bucket dump was endless fun for the tots. The ample chairs and good amount of shade provided were also key on a very hot day. Cafe was less expensive than I might have thought too. The fries were yumm. A pretty decent value for entertainment in NOVA. Word of caution: if youre adult sized, be careful on the splash tower slides. Youll rocket right out and off the landing pad, resulting in road rash from the concrete after the pad.

This is a family fun water park in the Northern Virginia area. Admission prices are reasonable, especially if there is a group-on avalible. It features a crowd favorite of a huge water bucket that will instantly soak you every few minutes, one long open twisty slide, one enclosed twisty slide, a shallow kids pool (my son really enjoyed it!), 5 deep pool area, and a small island with small slides. The staff is friendly. My only issue was certain food items at the cafe were unavailable.

Happening place to spent with the kids, the water rides are good preferably age specific, and fun with the bucket pouring over, cons is that changing places should be more clean

Nice place for something to do for the kids. The Water park is not free but they do have some weekday specials, and the price drops later in the afternoon. Out of town guest will have to pay to enter Bull Run Regional Park before they can get to the waterpark.

Had my daughters birthday here last weekend and our party planner Shawtay was absolutely amazing! She didnt skip a beat, was extremely helpful and always there when I needed help with something. Both my kids have food allergies and this place was very accommodating to that. Looking forward to visiting this water park again this summer!

Nice water park for spending couple of hours. Limited attractions but thats fine given reasonable ticket price. Only thing which we didnt like was too much chlorine in water and shower water was too much hot to take bath. Its literally irritating for skin specially babies.

Love this water park. Great selection of food from the snack bar too. They have the area for the little kids to play at and also a really big pool with two slides. They also have a kitty pool that separate from the big pool. if you do go in the summer during the week, I highly recommend you go early in the morning as the day cares will pile in and school buses by the boatload lol

Bathrooms and showers were disgusting!My daughter was just to the line of 48 inches MAYBE 1/8 of an inch “shorter” got refused to go down the slide (which was paid extra for) the bar LITERALLY touched her head.Also saw three other parents say they were charged for 48 inches to later be told AT THE SLIDE that their kids were unable to go down, having to make their kids walk back down in shame and disappointment.Save your money and go to splashdown Where everybody plays and your not grossed out to change into your bathing suit or use the facilities!!!

Really fun for the kids but I wish the water park let you bring in outside food to eat.

Great place to visit with kids. My 2 and 4yrs loved it. Not to busy, reasonably priced food and not fighting for seats. Bit tricky to find and located on state park land, so you have to pay to visit park $8. Parking is free at water park. They have lockers.

Park was good, not to crowded, waited over 30 minutes for a order of nachos, and chicken nuggets and fries, but it didnt seem to bother the kids working at the snack bar. The other thing parents should watch is if you let your kids play in the sand, watch out for the ANTS.Make sure to bring a cooler for the car, if your child has any type of allergies, because you cant bring in any outside food.

Lifeguard didn’t allow my child, who pediatrician said was 48”, ride the slide and wasn’t interested in engaging in a conversation about it...just constantly shook her head. Not happy with lack of customer service and apparently being okay with disappointing kids who have been to other water parks and could ride the rides at 48” tall. Too bad. Lifeguards aren’t consistent either...not letting other kids walk over fountains shooting up from the ground...? Isn’t that what they are supposed to do?! I never post reviews online but had to this time for all the kids’ sake

Went on a weekday so it was not crowded. Fun place for kids, lots of slides. Plenty of life guards on duty, even for a weekday, so that was nice. Bathrooms are somewhat small and the cleanliness is as expected for a very used public facility. Seating all around - chairs & lounges. There are a couple of those giant umbrellas to sit under, but those go quick. It looked like they have a section to a shaded grassy area but it was not open at the time. They have a big sand box for small kids to play in but you can see a lot of sand carried over into the pool near it.No outside food or drinks allowed except for water and the small Nathans cafe on site was just ok. Not super pricey, but not cheap. $1.50 for a juice pouch - ouch. They ran out of the refillable souvenir cups.I would definitely go again, but not sure I would attempt a hot weekend when it could be crowded.

Im regularly out of the area during the summer weekend. This a good option to avoid the steamy heat.

Folks please be careful to check the weather. I stayed there for only an hour and half paying full price because they closed due to the weather. Didnt say sorry and no refund or a rainy check for another day.They check my backs like crazy to search for any hidden food. But when I get in, I saw people eating their own snacks and sandwiches. I asked a staff about why someone can and I cant but didnt care. I guess people should hide food in and eat there without going in and out.I was very disappointed about the untrained staffs.

Perfect for any age! Huge park! Lots of parking and seating. Our grandchildren, 6, 3.5 and 15 mos loved it. One star off for the subpar concession stand.

This place is sooo much fun! Theres a small fee per person to get into the water park (cant remember how much), but it was so worth it. they have a small cafe for food. not many healthy options though (chicken nuggets, french fries, pizza, etc). Took my work-children, and we all had a BLAST! The splashgrounds are separated from the pools by latched gates.

We have been coming to Atlantis for years. We lived in Culpeper for many of those years and still made the drive to Atlantis on a regular basis every summer. The lifeguards have always been diligent, polite and friendly. Yesterday we brought some family from Culpeper that had never been to here. They were impressed with the lifeguards and how much fun the park is for kids of all ages. The park was clean, the pool clean and well staffed. The snack bar is a snack bar..with the type of food one expects to find at a pool. While you cant bring your own food inside the pool, many times we have brought our own food and had a picnic. The price is certainly reasonable.All four boys had a great time and so did the adults. We will be back....probably many times again this summer.

The lifeguards are on POINT. The park bathrooms are cleaner than most houses I have been in. A really nice place to bring your family

Very affordable to get in. Food is overpriced for the quality. Slides could use updating because most of the surface has come off and scratches your legs. Otherwise a nice place.

This is a nice place and I had a good time with my daughter, however I had two issues. 1) The website CLEARLY states that on Tuesdays after 4pm it is buy 1 get 1 free. I arrived yesterday with 2 adults at 5pm and was told that your website is out of date and the price for 2 adults was $10.50. Keeping your website up to date should not be that difficult in 2019. 2) There are no changing tables for babies. Please add a changing station to both your ladies room and mens room. If you are providing a baby pool at your facilities, expect babies that need a diaper put on after they get out.

My 4yr grandson absolutely loved it. Perfect size pools, he wasnt scared of at all. Went for a few hours but stayed till it closed. Definitely coming back here. Drinks expensive but food reasonably priced. Thank you great fun

Nice water park also not too crowded, on a Friday. Food is ok and fair priced but it does take sometime.

Been going here every summer for 4 years. Its a great area for all ages. Staff seem well attentive and watch carefully, Ive seen them do routine drills for the life guards. Only thing to watch out for is the sides of the pool and the floor many kids scrape their feet and end up bleeding from the pool when they get out or play around.

The place gets very crowded in the summer. And the changing area, rocker room, and bathroom are too small to accommodate the number of guests. Our family had to wait 10 minutes in the line to use the restroom because the other guests were using them to get dressed. Plus the small children pool area (under ages 6) were dirty, the small octopus was in poor condition and there were brownish thin stuff floating all around the pool. It was disgusting!!!!

First time here for a birthday party and must say it was very nice. The locker rooms were a little less nice as the day went on but its a water park and not losing a star for that. There is a whole lot of activities for children who are not able to swim. My child can swim and also had a blast (6 yrs old). There arent a ton of activities for older kids ( there a two big water slides and lots of pool area) and therefore it didnt seem to be a teenager hangout. It really seemed more family oriented which was perfect for our group.

Took my family here after a reunion at the park nearby. I must say that this was a super fun little water park with a cool slash area, giant wading pool and two cool water slides! Super cheap too! I would highly recommend this place as a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon!

I love it but I have a question can you bring your own floats

We go here a few times every summer. Its a nice mix of things to do. A very large pool with varying depths from approximately 3 to over 5 feet. 2 large, spiral waterslides make my son happy. Smaller slides in the middle of the 4/5 ft. The water playground area with the spouts, slides, showers and giant dumping bucket are a nice change from just swimming or sliding and a great way for kids to cool off and play around at the same time. The front desk girls and the lifeguards weve encountered or had conversations with were all very young but nice, helpful and personable. Most of those who work in the little cafe seem like they are not happy with their jobs. Not friendly, but not straight up rude, just like they dont care. One girl was friendly, but the boys working today...not so much. They dont allow you to bring in food so you have to buy their overpriced fast food or eat on your way home. And we were going to have to wait 20 minutes for a mini pizza. No thank you. Its dirty inside and the tables outside were filthy with large ants crawling over the old stuck on food. The bathrooms are nasty. Seriously gross. Also, I did not see one actual adult today. Okay, to be fair, no one who LOOKED over 21. Anywhere on the premises. But despite the negatives, well be back. Its a reasonable price for all the pool features and amenities. We just dont eat anything here but bagged chips or candy and try to use the bathrooms only once. The pool itself is very nice so we will keep coming back. This place could be awesome if they overhauled the little cafe and cleaned up a lot.

Love the family nite $2 meal ticket and lower prices after 4. My toddler enjoyed the sand area. I also appreciate the gate system that sections off pool areas. The bathrooms, however, were very nasty. I know it is busy season, but need to be cleaned mid-day.

Staff are not professional and friendly, lacking customer service skills. You are not allowed to bring food inside except water. You have no choice but to purchase the awful food. Will not come back to this place.

I know this is a public pool, but wish the pool was a little cleaner. The food was also either overcooked or under cooked.

We decided to tent camp so we could fully enjoy the place, and they gave us a discount on the water park. We fully enjoyed the pools and slides. This a great family spot. The very weak showers made getting the sand off very difficult, but otherwise, we had only the best experience.

So, where to begin, the pool its self is nice, they have a baby pool for the little ones, they have another pool area for the little ones, they even have a small sand lot, now for the entrance after 4pm you pay 5.75 before habe its 6.75, the snack stationary, be sure to check your receipt for any wrong orders added, its a bunch of teenagers that are in the back prepping your food. The management and overall function is a disaster, to be honest the supervisor, not respected nor listened to, i paid a total of 44 dollars of which 8.75 was refunded back to me due to wrong order charged, and the bun was alot largwr then the grilled chicken, plus they didnt add cheese to my cheese burger, not to mention yhe bread was hard at the tips, if your not a resident of manassas, you have to pay 5.75 to enter if not 8 due to holiday. You must be there early if not you will have to wait in line, and please please bring sandels the changing areas are nasty. Dont bring snacks nor water toys, you will have to return it and go back to the line, only toys they provide is allowed, made the mistake of taking some individual snacks and upon departure they were magically gone.

We love the actual park! Always stay for hours! However, the outside food policy should be tweaked. Possibly something along the lines of being able to bring prepackaged stuff like fruit snacks or chips, or grapes. Since the food lines are a mess and the whole food area should be shaded.. also guest should not be allowed to just put there stuff there in food area and leave. Its a food area. That really ticked me off that 2 shaded food tables were occupied by peoples stuff that were not eatitng. In addition, the whole food set up needs to be delt with. Minimum 2 cashiers (that tell you ahead of time the toppings on burger are to be requested)(sidenote I was starving and ate my food.. but the food was meh), a third person getting drinks and keeping stuff stocked up front. And the others in back getting food. There should also be more food options. Grapes, apples, watermelon, (fairly inexpensive fruit options), carrots and ranch. Im sure with all the bodys that come through the cost would be more than covered by the add to menu. Also tried calling before my arrival this weekend and it was not turned on and the messages was from 2016, stating closed for season and will open in summer 2017.. lol idk how that slipped through the cracks. One more thing the bathroom areas should be cleaned up hourly(and checked off that inspected/cleaned). The floors are very slippery, and get a dirty sludge built up from sand, dirt and water. In conclusion, the park is great for what it is! And the price is great, it would be perfect if free for kids 4 and under. I would and do recommend this place, just needs some tweaking to be better. I know its beginning of season. But hoping my input can help in some way.

Great value for the money, but a couple downsides. You cannot bring in your own food or drink, except water and stuff for babies. Also, the lifeguards are extremely overzealous. In addition to the usual no running stuff, they are also very picky about horsing around in the pool or play areas. Basically, dont touch any other children. That said, its close, the cost is right, the facilities are clean, and the locker rooms are spotless. prices at the concession stand are not cheap, but not theme park rip off level. Think minor league ballpark.

Dog Swim 2019 was awesome!

This place is nice. It has a place where you can picnic and also has camp grounds. We went to the water park and it was very kids friendly atmosphere. Downside was the rest room was not well kept up to standard. Thats why I took 1 star down.

Atlantis Waterpark was very enjoyable. My mom, my friend and I went and had a great time! The bucket was awesome, the slides were REALLY fast, and the pool was HUGE. The only problem was that after a while, me and my friend got bored. If youre going for a couple hours, youll love it, but if youre going for the whole day, youll start to feel kind of bored like we did.

I like this place because here are different pools for different age groups...

Even though the park itself did seem well kept/maintained, there are several issues about it that I had (which led to this 3/5 review). The first issue was that the bottoms of the pools seem to have been made out of the cheapest material possible, as they felt more or less like sandpaper and after a day in the park some blisters (bleeding at first) could be found on the feet of myself and a couple other people whom I was with. Then, when ordering burgers at the restaurant which they have there, I had to wait over half an hour for what basically was two meatloafs put between two pieces of bread. Even though this may seem petty, the item in question was marketed with cheese, tomatoes, pickles and lettuce (all absent). To be fair, this could have been resulted by the fact that I ordered during a very busy time for the park which could have resulted in some shortages in the aforementioned items. Finally, the park itself is mostly geared towards younger children which results in a limited choice of activities for older guests. But, as these problems originate from a lack of funding, they could be easily fixed by management. In all, even though it is a great place to bring younger children to, if you are both not a parent and are too old for the kiddie slides at this park this place has little to offer for you. Also, be aware that the food might be of lesser quality than advertised.

Nice waterpark but the customer service or should I say the lack there of at the cafe was undesirable.

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the place is really cute. The cost to get in this place is almost as ridiculous as their policy of not being allowed to bring outside food or drink in. They would much rather you and your kids eat the overpriced junk food they sell.

Great water park for cooling down. It was pretty busy the entire time and it was hard to find chairs.

My boys and I have a blast everytime we go. The only issue is they let people swim in their clothes and one time a few weeks ago they let a child in that had a rash over his entire body, it looked like measles. When brought to their attention they did nothing about it.

Great places cheap to enter but food stand is dirty and Very Very expensibe, for 5 nuggets and a handful of fries was 5 bucks...hot dogs where 7 dollars and burgers were 850...just to expensive to eat. Oh and they check your bags before you enter like we are transferring contraband. Even when you have your 1 yr old with you and his snavks(Just another way to have you buy their food). So make sire you dont bring food
