I love visiting the park, the walking paths are great for walking my dogs. They have a pond for fishing, kids playground and 2 fenced off dog parks. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. Its also located next to the Chehalis River. They have been decorated for Christmas as well, I cant wait to go see all the lights when they are finished!

Great little park to stop, sit and eat. Theres a playground with new equipment and theres actually a walking trail nearby along the river. Definitely worth a visit or a great place to hold an outdoor party. Theres even kitchen facilities we saw. Must be managed by the park office. The trees around the park are tall and historic. Beautiful forest in the middle of Centralia.

Throughout my life Fort Borst Park has been here!! I loved this park as a child, as a parent and still do as a grandparent. With its kiddie pool, its swings, its playground and fishing lake it is a great and beautiful place for family!! Even if you are alone its a great place to be!! You can take walks and enjoy nature. It also has two fenced dog parks, one for little dogs and one for large dogs, I love it, I have many memories of this wonderful place!! It also has two kitchen buildings you can rent!!

Nice park to stop off I-5 and eat outside and stretch. Dont know the history, has a lake that was kinda green you could fish. They have a rhody garden that looks dead with sprinklers nearby. Porta potties. Kids playground is awesome.

They have some great playground toys for children. They have two swings for people with disabilities. If the wading pool was open and if they had swings for younger kids it would have everything one could ask for. Relaxing atmosphere and great outdoor feel.

Attended a wedding there. It is a beautiful park, maintained very well. No garbage nice playground , lots of parking.

A beautiful park can fish in the lake, walk by the river, walk trails. take ycur dog for a run in an fenced safe area, picnic and play on the new playground with the kids!

Great to be outdoors and enjoying the beautiful summer sun. Friendly people. Our three little ones even enjoyed a burger patty picnic as there was a clean table to sit at for a few minutes. Thankfully the grounds were well cared for and there wasnt any dirty dog piles left on the grounds. Truly appreciated a great place to take our fur kids for a break.

Come here a lot to walk my dog or just sit and ponder life! Thank you to all of those who keep it clean and make it one of my favorite places in town.

Fort Borst is really exceptional. All trees, large setting, tables and benches with a small lake. It is best park in the area.

It a nice park we have our Family reunions there every year the late is open to children under 12 for fishing

The play ground has been recently updated. It has wheel chair access ramps built in. The park is usually busy with children now. The city has done work to make the trees surrounding the park safe.

Its great for kids to ride bikes in but no place to swim. The pond and river are gross. Lots of grass and trees so theres plenty of shade. They also just installed a new playground.

They rebuilt the park playground area and really made this a much better playground for the childrenWe come here at least twice a week now.Love the huge saucer swingIts a nice addition

This is an awesome park lots of swings lots of slides lots of stuff to climb on. Trails to walk on and lots of room for running.

Love the dog park and fishing in the river behind the park. 9 PM every night seems to be the time all the fish wanna bite. Fun place for kids to learn to fish.

I really like this park. Its calm, my kids can run around and have fun. Could use more consistent maintenance but thats not a mood killer.

Its a local park. Small to medium sized very shaded. Lots of grass and water and trees. Ducks, usually in a nice sized pond, big enough for ducks and tiny little fish. There is toy equipment and trails and a river you can swim in or just waddle in to escape the heat.

Went to Borst park for a run. Was planning to run the mile trail but it had people seated in their chairs watching baseball games from afar due to Covid. So avoided the trail near baseball fields and ran perimeter of park. Was surprised to find people parked in the lawn near the lake.

It was beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed watching and hearing the ducks quacking.

Biggest bass I’ve caught out of there was 4 pounds and I’ve caught many 2 pounders out of there to. I used jigs, frogs, chatterbaits, whopper plopper, and walking baits (I caught the 4 pounder on that)

Very well keep up state park. I was very impressed with the dog park area. The only thing I could Suggest would be more bags for their poop bag stations.

Great little park of the freeway. Perfect for a 1/2 way meeting spot between Seattle and PDX.

Pretty chill place. Its got a couple nice fields. During highschool sports seasons, therell be some games going on in the ball fields. Some peeps fly their drones or remote airplanes in the more distant fields.

Swings and playgrounds are unusable due to the bogus virus curbing efforts. Some panhandlers. Still relatively clean and litter free. Lots of walkers and a few runners. Pet friendly. Most people are pleasant and friendly.

Lots of trees to avoid the evil sun. Nice off leash dog park with some nice shorter trails.

A great park. It even has a small pond to fish. The park does sit next to the I-5, so the sound of freeway can be a bit loud at times.

We love skateboarding, biking, and playing on the playground here. The historic house and gardens are pretty cool.

A tranquil spot with plenty of places to sit in the shade or sun. Walk by the river, smell the flowers in the Master Gardners Demonstration Garden. Watch the bees working on the lavendar.

Such a beautiful and comfortable area, they have a small playground thats even suitable for my accident prone 4 year old. There was also some baseball fields, looked like 2 different indoor spaces- able to be rented for event space (Im especially excited about that!) As well as a beautiful small lake that has walking paths surrounding it! Im new to the area but this seems like a great spot to relax with the family.

Great outdoors space. Big with lots of room to walk, or even run. Play area is a little sparse, but kids always have fun. The lake is a great fishing spot, especially for kids, but dont swimming it! Has some nice walking trails, and 2 fenced dog play areas. The bathrooms are usually clean.

Lovely park, but it seams the new addition to the play ground was stopped in the middle of construction. It is sortof blocked off but kids can easily get on it and that seams unsafe.

I went fishing and didnt catch any fish but a beautiful sunny day. Fish were caught just not by me so that tells you about my fishing ability. The banks are kind of steep.

Fishing was great. Location is perfect. The homeless is out of control

Few outdoor play areas left. There are buildings for holding small group events. Things here have really changed from just a few years ago. Make sure to secure valuables and vehicles to be on the safe side.

The wife and I like a personal picnic and watch the ducks as well as the kids fishing. Today an osprey dropped out of no where and took a nice trout out of the pond. Relaxing afternoon with wife of 60 years.

I grew up around this park and when I was a kid it was awesome....there was wildlife (bears,peacocks,chickens,ducks,monkeys) now it is just seasonal ducks.... I wish it was like it was 30 years ago!! Id love for my grandchildren to enjoy it like I did and experience it the way I did.

Its a very nice little park for being in town. We saw ducks and squirrels and it was very nice to see so many people out enjoying the park.

This is a nice place to come and hang out. There are paved and unpaved trails to walk or run on, there is a boat ramp into the chehalis river, a lake for fishing, and what I like best, the fenced dog park. They have sections for both small and large dogs and poo bags are usually available. This is a historic park so if you are interested there is something here for you. There are bathrooms near the entrance to the park which are usually clean. Overall, great place to come feed the birds, fish, exercise, play with the dog, boat on the river or just lean back in the cool grass on a hot day and read a book.

New toys are nice. But the park is dirty.

One of our favorite spots for walks, plus the Borst House and the surrounding community maintained gardens is the perfect spot for a picnic!

Borst park has gone downhill. Don’t go after dark.It’s not a great playground anymore. But it’s nice for a walk with the dog, or a jog with a friend. certain areas still have some charm

Very neat little hidden gem! If you vebture slightly off of the paved path into the tree area (there are clear dirt paths to follow!) near the water then theres a hidden rhododendron garden! So beautiful!!
