Wonderful place to go on a walk!

The park is beautifully kept. It provides a lovely bit of nature where anyone can wander and enjoy.

This was an excellent event. There were enough activities to keep you busy. There were 35 balloons present and they had races and balloon glows at dusk. Although it is very busy, the park is huge and really spread out so plan on walking. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs because several events lasted over an hour. There are lots of fairground food booths that got very busy with extremely long waits. There is also a large craft area with several vendors. My only complaint is that tethered balloon rides were advertised; there was only one balloon doing it, it was $10 per person, it went up about 30 and the line was very long. We did not go to the bandstand to see the country band but they sounded great and the cheers of the crowd indicated that they were a hit. There was a fireworks display to end the night. Not the biggest display but they were nice. Parking was $3 and well organized. Entry was $3 per person and worth every penny. I did see folks with a three day pass button and assume this was a local promotion. I would highly recommend this event and it will be an annual trip for my family from now on!

Great disc golf courses. Aside from being assaulted by a few Baskin Bees and my allergy to bee/ wasp stings. Great times.

My little family went to 2018 balloon fest. It was family friendly staff and wonderful.. there was dozens of food trucks and craft booth and tents. It was our first time going. There was a balloon that was selling hot air balloon rides. The music was in sync with the balloons durring the glow and everyone seemed to really enjoy all of it.

This is one of the first places my wife and I ever went we let their dogs run loose out there we go to the merry-go-round drink a beer once in awhile I dont know if were supposed to or not weve heard Head East out there we love this part in part of our Lives all our lives she showed it to me she played out there every day of her life when she was a little girl she lived across the street and Holiday Terrace she was the one that turned me on to it its a great part of Our Lives weve been to the Balloon best several times I wouldnt trade those moments for anything in the world Im from Chicago and Ive shown a couple of the people parts of the park but she showed me that really cool places I hope to be out doing that with her real soon this summer

The balloon fest is always awesome its a great place to just run or relax the cross country meets are amazingBut most of all my husband and I were married there 15 years ago

My family loved the balloon fest! Although I was hoping to go for a ride, due to the weather it didnt happen. I lost my prescription sunglasses there, I called the organizers and they send them to me quickly! !loved that gesture

Love the arboretum plaques on trees for identification and trails are well maintained. Beautiful park.

My fiance, his brothers and I would go to the park to play pokemon Go and take pictures a lot. Then my fiance proposed to me in the center of the labyrinth there. Its such a beautiful place that we have decided were want to get married there too! Its only $100 and they also have a little chapel set up in the woods. It could maybe fit around 50 people though because its SUPER tight, but if you have a VERY small ceremony and just invite people to the reception then the chapel would be a good idea.

My kids and I think this is a great place to have a cookout. The small grill to cook on, the many tables for a large get together, a large yard to play multiple yard games at once if you have it and also a little pond for those who enjoy fishing. Peaceful and quiet.

This is a great place for family gatherings and weddings. More than enough tralie to take walks and great places for pics

Living in Centralia for my whole life is exciting. I love coming here for the Balloon Fest. The Fest is full of food, activies, kids games, craft stands, and of course, the Hot Air Balloons! I recommend Foundation Park and all of its fun activities to everyone in Centralia and everywhere else!

Very relaxing place to play disk golf to go fishing and the have a maze to go through. There are little pretend cacti for kids to play on and a small pond called Catfish pond. They also have girl scout cabins and a creek near that. Great place to hike as well.

Clean park. Plenty of picnic areas. Theres a place where you can have an outdoor wedding called Chapel in the Woods.

This is one of the cleanest and nicest parks thats not state owned in southern

Lots of places to have a sit down or cook out , frisbee golf, good place to walk or ride bike!,And the dogs love it!! Also has trails to walk with kids for something to do.

Went to hot air balloon festival here. Was a nice little park.

We attended the hot air balloon festival and had to walk forever to get into the park and we had a fairly close park. Then it was cancelled due to weather after wed driven over an hour to get there. People were smoking in the park as some of the balloons were being filled, which was announced over the loud speakers NOT to do because of the hydrogen gas used to lift the balloons. Its nice they do have this festival anyway!

Wonderful park and great Hot Air Balloon Show. Generally go each year in August.

We went to the balloon event. Very nice. Kids got in free and adults were $3 They even had free bounce houses and other activities for the kids. Will come back next year

Love the balloon fest! Everything was nice, food was delicious, the volunteers and all involved were very nice and helpful. Will plan to go with the family again next year.

Beautiful large well kept park. Great for picnics, birthday parties, biking, or hiking. They also host several interesting events here.

This place is more 4 adults then kids. Its a nice place to go and sit and usually pretty quiet. Its nice to sit and listen to the bells and have a small picnic 4 two and watch the small water fall. The down fall is theres only one table and actually nothing 4 kids to really do.

The park was excellent thats why I give him such a high five five stars very very well-maintained I will go there again and the park superintendent really keeps it nice and mode and so were very happy for that very nice part to just walk and have a nice evening walk

A beautiful park! Clean, nice parking, quiet, calm, spacious, and a calm environment! The grounds are well kept, the bushes and trees are tended yet natural. People who are visiting the park are polite and respectful of the nature! The signage assists first time visitors as well as returning guests. A perfect place for a family outing, a romantic walk, or a peaceful afternoon of solitude. Thoroughly recommend this park for a wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful, immaculately kept park. Balloon Fest is hosted here and people often use it for weddings and family reunions and photography.

It used to have a lot to offer for leasure time. When I was growing up, I lived very close by. They still have lots of activities including a great hot air balloon fest

Love to walk the trails here. Dont love it as much when I find used heroin needles laying in the grass. Some lights would probably help their issue.

Great park! They have beautiful wooded trails to walk, amazing picnic areas and pavilions. Centralia holds its annual balloon fest here every year as well. We love coming to this park!

An almost natural park except its surrounded on all sides by houses and you can typically find fallen trees across paths for weeks. During the summer months it smells like raw sewage and is filled with swarms of bees looking for a non toxic place to nest, lest they become mutated.Its not all bad though at night you can walk the paths with little to no insect activity but you have to watch your step for the homeless.The snowy winters are the best because the homeless, the insects, and the junkies have all gone to hell or warmer climes. You wont hear any traffic late at night or see the houses so its wise to bring a light. The paths though not marked range from; a crawling child could handle this, to Bear Grylls would have to avoid them.If you are a child, elderly or stupid just stick to the outside paths. They are easy to spot and easy to trek, just follow the trail of garbage.

Its a great place to visit depending on the time of year fishing,nature walks and picnics are what you can expect for things to do. I always like to go on walks in the more heavily wooded areas.

Well kept my son and me love going out there and walking trails. Ive been going out there for 35 years at least. Its just a place to get away. I can still get 4G and cell service so I can be in nature and never miss anything at home.

Most amazing balloon glow. The Air Force put on one heck of a concert and the fireworks were great. Will definitely come back every year. Thank you, Centralia what a wonderful event.

Every August the Balloon Fest (Hot air balloons) is held here. Nice park to visit for family events. If you like disc golf they have a course set up. Stop by catfish pond and try your luck at a little fishing.

They have the best balloons during the weekend of the balloon fest every year!!
