We had an outdoor wedding reception, and this is pretty much an ideal park for that. The big pavilion sets a great stage for whatever decorations needed, space for a good sized dance floor, and a small park right next to it for the kids to play. My little sister just got married, and she was able to have her princess wedding today. Highly recommended.

What a great little park.Pavilion, lots of grass, small childrens playground with rubberized floor.Lots of single picnic tables spread throughout.

Nice, open grassy field with a few picnic tables. The grass was nice and there werent any weeds that I could see. There is plenty of parking and many nice, mature shade trees throughout the grassy area. There is a small playground that appears in good condition with newer fixtures. This isnt a huge park, but it is a nice picnic place.

I love this beautiful little Park. It was perfect for a social distancing visit a couple of evenings ago. Lots of trees and a pavilion provide shade on sunny days. Also, I love their Christmas lights. Its one of the highlights of my holiday season.

Freaking love this park at Christmas time. The lights are gorgeous!!! Plus its usually not very crowded, just family or two, so its a nice place to get some solitude as youre walking around that magical place.

Great little park in downtown Centerville. Very safe since it has good visibility and is close to the police station.

There is a huge field to run and play, a small park for kids, a pavilion, lots of space but not my personal ideal park to take my kids to. Just kind of basic.

Charming little park. Nice bathrooms, and water fountains. The play area is small, but the rubber mat is safe and its very nice to not get mulch in the kids sandals. Large grassy area is wonderful to run and play or toss a football. Large pavilion, with clean tables.

Horribly under-maintained bathrooms. Sure it was a Sunday, but guess what? Centerville isnt a do nothing on Sunday town anymore. Clean your public facilities 7 days a week!

Nice hometown park. Small playground, but lots of room to run around. If you are planning an event, you can reserve the pavilion. There are bathrooms, but no indoor facilities for gathering, so the weather will be a factor for anything you have planned. In the summer, they show outdoor movies here free to the public on Friday nights. On the Forth of July there is a huge celebration in the park. During the holidays, the park is decorated well with lots of twinkle lights.

We love to take a few minutes during Christmas to stop and walk through the Christmas light displays! The christmas light tunnel is fantastic for kids young and old! Its a small enough park that families can let the kids run and play. On a few summer evenings, they have movies in the park at dusk! Check the city website for details.

Centerville has no shortage of parks, but this is one of the best. From the beautiful trees offering plenty of shade to the numerous city sponsored activities like Movies in the Park and the 4th of July festivities, Smith Park (aka Founders Park) is awesome.

The only real problem with Founders park is the lack of parking. The lot on site is used by the school (when in session) and during events all neaby spaces and lots are inadequate.Free Wi-Fi is a nice perk. My kids love the playgrpund and theres plenty of space for pickup frisbee and football and such. The bowery is large and hosts movies on the park during warmer months.
