Great park with a nice stream through the middle. They have a playground, soccer fields, and a swing set.

Cute little park, I come out here every now and then to use my telescope in the big open field. Just have to be aware of the sprinklers coming on. Good spot for a picnic or a lunch with people, especially at the pavilion. Has a small park for kids (or adults) to play on.

If you’ve ever wondered what a Smoot is, this is the place to find out. We never figured it out while we were there, but we sure had a lot of fun! There are some tennis courts, a playground, a large field, and a stream that is very inviting to little children.I would recommend steering clear from the stream or bringing swimsuits if you don’t want your kids clothes to get soaked, because the inevitability will once your kids see that stream.Also, if it is winter I would really recommend not playing in the stream, because you’ll probably catch hypothermia and die. And then whenever your friends and family go back to the park they’ll just be sad.Who wants to go to a park and be sad? NO ONE that’s who.Well if you go to this park and find a Smoot, let me know. If not, have fun anyway.

Its hard to find nice tennis courts with lights, but here they are! I love these courts and will come here often to play. They also have two backboards and a drinking fountain nearby just in case you need it.

I love this park. I work at a childcare center and all the kids love it too. There a few huge fields. A playground and a small stream that the kids can play in without fear of the current being to strong. This is one of my favorite parking in Davis county!!

Cool place, lots of airplanes and free to the public. Appreciated the displays and the info boards. I liked reading about Hill Air Forces past and reading the specs on the planes. Lots to learn, I was there for over two hours and didnt get to read or look at everything.

I took my grandson to his archery lesson. I sat on a nice bench in the shade (lots of shade) and read a book. I had a great time and so did my grandson. I didnt like the open creek, though. Its hard to keep 8-year-old boys out of the water.

Very fun love that park. And the layout. Room for all. Being the size it is. I also am trying to pan for gold. Now the only speck of gold yet. Has been a particle I could barely see so.

Lots of grass, sand where the swings are, lots of slides, a tennis court, and a beautiful creek that runs right through the middle of the park. A great place for you and your kids to spend an hour or two :)

We love this park. It also holds special memories for me when I was younger. The swings are fun, it has tons of slides, a tennis court, aswell as volley ball sand pit and a nice pavilion. Great place for the whole family.

Fun little playground with tons of space for running and playing in the grass. Theres no sand or wood chips around the playground, so thats a bonus.

We come here every spring and summer there is a nice spot in the river to play where the water isnt to fast and there is lots of room to throw the football around

One of the best shaded parks in Davis County!

A pleasant steam trickles through the park creating a relaxing brook sound. Google maps told us to turn East into nowhere when the park was West of the road. Good thing we used our eyes instead.

This park is small but has a large variety of things to do or places to be. They have tennis courts, a volleyball net, a small playground and a lot of grass space to play around in. The coolest part is a small stream that runs through that kids can play in or you can just listen to. My only complaint would be that the volleyball sand isnt usually very soft.

It was a nice place to enjoy the afternoon.

This is a great place to bring the kids and dogs. Theres a good sized playground, swings, and tons of empty space to run around in.

Great for the family, they have a little kids playground tennis courts soccer and they do have some over head covered picnic areas good for walking dogs along the creek not good for joggers or Walkers that need a path this part does not have a path it is very small but great for throwing a long ball for a dog.

Fantastic place for kids because of the open space, playground, shade, and River. Its always a good experience when you visit Smoot Park. Visited it for years and years.

Great place to walk in the winter, spring and fall but too hot in the summer there are not enough trees to shade the park and it is too hot in the summer.

We love this park and the feelings of gratitude for the citizens of Centerville and how they came to the aid of Edgar and Dora Smoot when their farm burned down in February 1962. An east wind blew loose an electric wire that started a fire that killed 159 pure bred registered jersey cows only 47 survived.Thank you citizens of Centerville for your service!

The creek, great shade, loads of space and a good playground make this a great neighborhood park. The tennis courts are well used by enthusiasts and the pavillion is not large, but is adequate for moat groups of 100 - 150 people.

Spacious and pretty land.

Summer classes offered here. The parking lot is tight.
