I had an excellent experience at this location due to one sales associate specifically, who went above and beyond to make sure I made an informed purchase. I wanted to make sure Lou was recognized for all of his efforts. I was in the store no less than three hours getting fitted, trying different combinations, hitting balls etc. Lou was patient, and expertly informative the entire way. He was crucial in helping prevent some poor selections and it was greatly appreciated. I plan to shop here again and, based purely on my experience with Lou.

Nice & huge golf store. Helpful staff. Bought some golf balls and gadgets at very low prices. Got driver fitting for $30. Unfortunately the website is not accesable from Pakistan (Blocked). Planning to visit again next month.

Overrated. Came in to buy a new wedge. Guy said he would love to help but had to go to lunch. Went to ask for another guy with help and he said he was doing a fitting but would send someone to help me. After standing and waiting for 30 min I proceeded to get no help.

Went to The Golf Galaxy In Cary And walked in trying to get fitted clubs but no employees even dared to give us help. It took 20 minutes and nothing or no one came. They’re overpriced and also rigged. At the used section of the drivers was a 2017 TaylorMade adjustable club that had the adjustable part broken and was being priced for almost $200 that’s a ripoff in its self

Just left the store after one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.... was ignored and then rushed by a rep with an attitude after asking a few questions about a club ... clearly these guys need some training... just lost a customer.

Just left the store a few minutes ago and wanted to write a review because I was so pleased. Received great customer service from the moment I walked in. The gentleman helped me find what I needed and was very nice and knowledgable. I felt very good about my purchase and was thankful to him and the lady who helped check me out. Will shop again!

I went in to look at a new Ping 3 wood. I actually found a pre-owned club and was looking for new ones when a nice salesman showed me the way. He let me hit both clubs in the practice cage and analyzed my swing. When I told him I hadnt played golf in four years and will probably only play a couple of times a month he agreed with me that the pre-owned club was the right purchase. I really appreciated his help and honesty and will definitely be back!

Came in for new grips, left with no help. Pitiful staff. Multiple people making eye contact, but not a one of them decided to ask me for any help. If you arent coming in here clueless and they can make a decent commission, it’s not worth their time apparently. Last time I came here I overheard an employee bragging about “I can hook you up man. I get callaway about 50% off” to a friend of his. Support local mom and pop shops.

Went in the other day to order a new driver. They had a great selection of pre-owned drivers and it must have been fate because they had the exact one I wanted on the shelf, basically new and for a great price. Decided to order a new 3 iron and Connor Jackson really went the extra mile by researching the exact shaft that I needed comparable to other irons, and even took the stickers off my new driver. To top it off, the custom order came to my house three days later. Couldnt have been a better experience. Thanks Connor

Great fitting experience . It took a while for my clubs to arrive but its no fault of golf galaxy it was a delay by the manufacturer.The club fitting improved my iron shots a ton.the best ball flight Ive ever had.

Came in to buy a used iron set and do Christmas shopping for my golfing buddies. The store was completely dead, I counted 4 employees on the floor; two of whom were messing around on the putting green. Not a single person came up to me while I was testing an iron on the range to ask if I needed help with anything, or had any questions. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store, and always received a condescending vibe, I assume its because I dont look like one of them. I dont really care, as long as I receive good service, but after this I wont be purchasing anything from this store again. I will, however, use them for the practice range. At least I know Ill be left alone ;)

This store is incredible! Like a little slice of golf store nirvana. Indoor driving range, huge putting green, several vendor specific club fitting simulators and a massive selection of everything. I can’t imaging going anywhere else. You will be blown away when you go there, especially if you were a customer of the Walnut Street store; you will not believe the difference.

I had a great experience buying new golf clubs at this location. Mike Morton spent a couple hours with me, during that time I hit a lot of different drivers. Mike helped me find the perfect driver and three wood for my game.

This is one of the newest Golf Galaxy locations in the state of North Carolina. When you walk in you will be truly amazed at the size of the building and the selection of merchandise. Golf Galaxy has everything you could ever need when it comes to the game of golf. In January I purchased Callaway X Hot Irons from this location at a discounted price. The service was fantastic and I got everything I could ask for.I have also used this location to purchase Nike golf shirts and golf shorts. Their rewards program is really good but you can take advantage of that at any Golf Galaxy location nationwide. For those that may not know, Golf Galaxy is owned by Dicks Sporting Goods.

The store is beautiful and there is great selection. My husband and I were pretty happy shopping there and excited about a sale on golf shirts. The Golf Galaxy we used to frequent wasnt as large and this was our first time wandering across town to check out this one as we live in south Durham. Everything was pretty great until we went to check out. We were pretty happy and so we were smiling and talkative and complimenting the store and the ways in which it improved upon the previous store to the two young cashiers. Not once did they smile at us, they barely made eye contact, they responded as though we were an inconvenience, and the young lady actually rolled her eyes when she thought we werent looking at her. I realize it was close to closing time and I understand that they probably wanted to go home. However, they caused a pretty happy moment to go sour pretty quick. When the young man gave us our total and it was more than we had expected my husband asked if he had taken off the 40% that was advertised. The young man then said that the shirts were not 40% off. We went ahead and bought them because, well, we wanted them. I said, Its just confusing because they were under a big 40% off lowest ticketed price sign, in case anyone else has the same misunderstanding. To which he replied, Hey, I dont know anything about that. I just check people out. Mistakes happen in retail all of the time and hes right that its not the cashiers responsibility to make sure all of the sale signs are accurate. I wish I hadnt bought the shirts now. I wish I had said something to them about how uncomfortable they made me feel. Im not used to being treated that way at Golf Galaxy. Instead Im writing this review in the hopes that Golf Galaxy might take note and provide better customer service training for their young employees.

I’m writing this review as I sit in the parking lot of golf galaxy stewing over my latest experience with their service department. Each time I give golf galaxy‘s service department another chance to put grips on the club or reshafted club or other basic maintenance, they manage to mess something up. And each time they messed up they become defensive.With so few choices in the area, golf galaxy owns the every day golfers market. Not that golf galaxy will care, but they will no longer get any of my service business. They have no business being in the service side of the industry with their complete inability to do basic maintenance. Sadly, the average golfer would never notice the mistakes they make every time. This most recent time, they put the wrong ferrel on the end of my shaft when they put a new shaft on my 7-iron. Literally yesterday I brought in my sons Junior driver to get it re-gripped and they failed to do that correctly. I went to get a bite to eat after picking up the freshly re-gripped club and after waiting an hour you could still turn the end of the grip 360° either direction. There are a handful of small golf shops around town. I strongly recommend giving your money to them for more quality repairs and better customer service. Shame on golf galaxy.
