Great challenging course with reasonable prices.

Great track, challenging yet very fair. Requires some course knowledge to successfully navigate your way around. Almost every hole has its own character. This course quickly moved into my top three after a recent first visit. Will be back very soon and often hopefully to challenge my eight handicap skills...

Had a good day at Chalet Hills. Pace of play was great for our foursome. We let a twosome and a solo player play through us during the round. The greens have recently been slit aerated and sanded so that led to some bumpy putts. Other then that conditions were very good. Look forward to returning soon.

Course is in great shape. Some of the holes are very challenging. Placement is key on several holes off the drive otherwise your 2nd shot might need to be a layup.

Excellent course! Took my father here this past weekend. Well organized, clean, great fairways, lots of water and sand. Prices are on par with rest of the area.

Course is nice, but 5 hour round starting at 9:45 on a Tuesday is a bit much. No rangers and no one fixes ball marks on the greens...

We played Friday morning and pace was slow. No rangers. At the turn, we wanted to grab a quick sandwich and there was only one employee handling orders, prep/cooking, etc and it took 30 mins to get a terrible turkey sandwich with soggy bread, slimy turkey and a hard tomato slice. While waiting, three groups passed through us (smart of them NOT to stop for lunch) and then we waited even longer on the back 9. Had to quit after 15 due to other commitments as we hadn’t planned on a 5.5-hour round. Very disappointing that this course doesn’t staff appropriately. Need a Ranger, an extra person in snack shop and cart girls should have PRE-made sandwiches, hotdogs, power bars, etc on their carts.

This place blows. i was told i could get a job in the pro shop and also cleaning carts, but the nice guy owner told me to kick rocks. very unprofessional. foxford hills is a much better course.

Clearly the guy in charge shouldn’t be. Rude, unprofessional and the food is awful. Beware of this place

It seems that the course is being run by bunch of teenagers from its neiborhood with no respect to asian golfers.

I’d like to say Thank You and Kudo’s to Arne, Manager and Director of Operations at Chalet Hills Golf Club. I work in the in home care field and I once a week I bring a client with a functional level of Parkinson’s Disease, to hit some balls in the state of the art indoor golf simulator. Today we ran a little late and only had 45 mins to hit of the hour reserved. When our time was up, Arne approached us to say “Hey, today is on me guys”. The next group had come real early and he acknowledge they may have made my client feel rushed and unable to relax and enjoy. He has treated my client very well recognizing the therapeutic benefits for my client as well as the happiness it brings him being able to participate in his hobby. I am also in the Fairway To Heaven Golf League for my second time. Arne has done a fabulous job organizing the league platform and keeping the league playable for all and fair.Played one round on the Golf Course last year and it was in very good shape. Look forward to playing a few more rounds this summer.

Very nice course. Staff was friendly. Beer cart came around 4 times total round. 2 times front and 2 times on back. Tee off @11:40 Sat finished at 4:25. Yes a long round but it was Sat .Course was in excellent condition. Only problem is I live almost hour away. But it was worth the drive. Would like to see them do some repair on cart path. One of the nicest courses around. I play over 40 rounds a year and this course will be added to my list.

First of all--VERY friendly staff--pro shop, starter, ranger, snack bar. Very fun layout of the course, with elevated tees and plenty of water with picturesque views from the the 9th, 17th and 18th tees. The greens are well maintained and rolled true. the only negative was pace of play--about 4 1/2 hours. The ranger was very present and checked things out but a couple of deliberate foursomes will hold everyone back. Perhaps some signs or clocks outlining expected pace of play would be helpful. Anyway, Im a mid handicapper and this course beat me up pretty badly. Ill be back for another try.

Played Chalet this past Friday for an outing and it was on of the best courses that I have played. The course is a beautiful layout and well manicured. Everyone was so friendly from Pat in the pro shop to Michelle at the bar! Definitely will be back before the season is over. Thanks for a great time guys!!!

The course is beautiful, and in good shape. But when you play a 5 hour and 45 minute round, its enough to make you want to never come back. we did not see one ranger or anyone from the pro shop looking to do something about the slow play issue.Congratulations Chalet Hills!, for giving me an afternoon I wish I could forget.

Not worth the money.. Also, we were yelled at by John on the 18th hole for slow pace of play even though we waited on the 4 sum in front of us. Where was the ranger?? John also threw numerous racist remarks our way after he got upset and said I wear the swastika on my sleeve around here This guy should be fired immediately. Will NEVER return to this course and would love to speak with upper management, if they exist.

More rocks in sand traps than sand. Beat up choppy greens on front. Cart path a wreck. Some awfully narrow holes. Also, got charged 64 when it said 59 online. For this long a drive, Foxford Hills way better.

Nice course, but at 5 hours and 40 minutes for a round I would hesitate to play again anytime soon. When you pay for a so called country club experience this is not what I had in mind. Never saw a ranger all afternoon on a weekend.

If you want a 6 hour round at a course that have no course marshalls, this is the place to be. I didnt think 6 hour rounds still existed in the Chicago Metro area. Apparently I found one on 6/16/18. Bill, looks like we both experienced the same thing. Our 4 some was stuck behind another group that were 2 holes behind and had no sense of urgency.

Nice course. Great shape considering all the nearby flooding of the Fox River. Very scenic, challenging, with smallish greens. One major flaw- driving range is awful.

Very disappointing!!!This is a really good track I have enjoyed in the past..Current condition is fair.4 hours 40 minutes today. No ranger all day.In and of itself not that unusual, however it is obviouslypoorly operated as evidenced by the following:Food cart never appeared after the 6th hole. There is no drinking water anywhere on the course which I find extremely problematic,The 1 restroom on the course had 2 urinals that didnt flush, a wash basin with no running water and a dispenser without paper towels.

This is a hidden gem. Dont know what these other reviews are about. Been playing it a few times a year for a very long time. It can be tight, which scares hacks away.
