Beautiful course greens are very challenging both due to slope and undulations. Played after a fairly heavy rain and while vast majority of holes have excellent drainage there should gave been a few more cart path only holes to protect them.Pleasant helpful staff and appropriately powered carts for elevation variations

Excellent golf course and wonderful condition. The greens are like carpet and very tricky. Nice practice area and driving range. Fair prices. We played the course the 3rd time this year and we travel over 50 miles to get there. It always is worth the trip. The only thing, which was a bit disturbing this time, was the rude person, who was the starter on the morning of August 19th. He made me and my group less welcome than expected? Maybe they should give him a job at the golf course where he does not have to interact with people? It doesnt look like his strong suit.

Great golf experience all the way around! From Charlie the Pro, to Jan the starter, the golf girls on the carts, and everyone in between, the staff enhances and reflects the overall with very welcoming, flexible customer service. And the course is tremendous- a true, fun test of golf in every way. Layout is fair, not too tight, with surprising elevation changes to make it interesting and challenging and a good test of your game, with great greens to boot! For a public track, they are consistently in great shape, roll well, and generally play fast..... exactly what you want in a golf course. Fairly priced, with a good range, Foxford is a great place to play!

The course is challenging and in great shape. Course management is key as some of the holes will punish the golfer who wont leave the driver in the bag. The club house is nice and there is outdoor seating. My only complaint is the course seems to be always busy.

We have played Foxford 15+ times a year for a decade. Sunday was our last. Social distancing was not a priority, price gouging is. Unknown to us, a single cart rider would be assessed a $28 premium, per cart. We didn’t find this out until we were on the tee. The starter was rude, surly and should be fired. We ended up taking 2 carts, god forbid they would return our money. It’s over 90 degrees and we played with our masks on. After the round, and after a pointed email, we discovered that they would have placed a shield up between the riders. Nice, 24 ours later you tell us that. There are so many courses with player friendly polices that are available in the area, no need to return to a course that clearly despises their players and safety. Other nearby courses allow for free single riders, others charge up to $10.Go someplace else.

Beautiful course! The only issue we would complain about is that we had only seen the beer girl twice in 18 holes and the second time was on the 17th hole. That was absurdly terrible service to the golf patrons of a very expensivecourse. At $5.00 a beer they could put 3 carts out there, make a profit and give someone a job that receives descent tips.

Great course. They also changed the driving range from buying tokens in the club, to a quick and easy swipe of a credit card. Just have the basket placed under the golf ball disperser to avoid them rolling out everyday...

Played a great game, fun day on the golf course. The grounds were pretty and in great shape . The reason for the two stars was that I was given the wrong price and approached management and how the handled the situation was not customer friendly at all. Not even an apology for the misunderstanding. Nothing was rectified. To add to the bad customer service on the back nine one of the employees told to rush and keep pace even though we had nobody behind us , if anything we were waiting for people on our fairway. I just think if we were 3 men he would of not said that to us. I golf frequently in the area and have never been disrespected like this before of any of the local courses.

Beautiful golf course. Each hole has its own unique design and personality. Greens have lots of contours and ridges in each of them. Links style front 9 and more traditional wooded back 9 with the best finishing 4 holes around. Great practice area from driving range to large putting green. Clubhouse has everything needed from well stocked pro shop to grill.

Thank you for responding to my complaint, I felt the need to respond due to the complete fabrication of events you described and logistical inconsistencies. As this incident occurred over a year ago, I am highly dubious to the fact that you could even recall the incident in question to begin with. You indicate that we had a tirade in the golf shop after the round was over. This 100% could not be further from the truth, we briefly went in to discuss our disappointment with how we were harassed during the round and left once it became clear our message was not being respected or apparently cared about. You then speak that the parties in front and behind our group were said to be voicing complaints about our play. It makes no sense that the group ahead of us could voice displeasure, if, as the ranger claimed, we were playing too slowly they would be too far in front to have any knowledge of the goings on in the previous groups. If our behavior was an issue after the 2nd hole when we were first approached, I also find it unlikely we would have been allowed to continue with the round. As to the group behind us voicing complaints, we were two holes or more ahead of them halfway through the round. This too makes it unlikely they would be voicing complaints about us. We at no point raised voices, or swore, or acted irresponsibly, and not once even acknowledged the ranger consistently following us for the duration of the round. If our pace of play was too slow to be an issue as alleged, then it is logistically impossible for one of the groups before or after us to have any idea what our group was doing, let alone both of them at once.To your last point about being entitled to a free round of golf and relaying the message to a 3rd party. Nobody in our group, or our third party requested free rounds or compensation of any point. We merely voiced a concern that we felt as younger patrons of the course that we were being unfairly singled out. The manager that days tone, clearly changed when the concerns and issues were brought up by the third party. You essentially admit in your post, that the offer of a free round was a lie, basically being used to placate the issue and get us out of hair, with no intention of ever following up on the agreed appeasement.Generally in a service based industry, even when the customer is in the wrong, the establishment will still apologize or offer some form of appeasement as a courtesy and hope of continued business.I have looked through many of your responses to negative feedback on both here and the other golf review sites, and not once in any of them have you taken even the remotest of responsibilities for any complaint brought to your attention. Deflecting and pushing back blame on the party who is complaining every time, even when warranted, is horrendous customer service. Quite simply, that is a poor example to be setting as a business and an outright embarrassment.thank you for your time and I hope in the future you can maybe look at the way you respond to criticisms and complaints in new light.

Enjoy the course a lot and have played here many times.but went in there today (March 28). My little cousin is in town visiting and we brought him along. They charged me 28 dollars for him JUST TO RIDE, in the cart, not even to golf.I thought that price was absolutely ridiculous and I don’t understand how my golf today was $39 total for 18 and cart and I was also charged only 10 dollars less for a little kid not even golfing.

Hosted an event here this past weekend and had nothing but issues with the staff from the minute we stepped foot on the property. The staff was rude, unprofessional and held unrealistic expectations on pace of play (4 hours on a Saturday) and threatened to cancel our event before it even started. Someone needs to remind them the name on their course is Foxford Hills and not Erin Hills. We will never bring our organization back to this course due to our experience with the staff and recommend anyone looking to host an event or enjoy a day on the course to look for another to mitigate risk of having the same problems we did.
