You win some then you give it all back is usually how slots go, but this time I won more than some and then got the hell out of there. Fun place with good slots and the staff is friendly and polite. I recommend stopping in if you are passing through.

I highly recommend making a stop for breakfast or lunch in the All American Eatery. The chicken fried steak breakfast will fuel you up for you days adventure. Hangry midday? The hot turkey sandwich has real, fresh roasted, fresh cut turkey in portions and very tasty.

Let me tell you the scoop!Our breakfast experience was terrific in all ways of being a waitress. The Carson Nugget Cafe Court. Our waitress was Tracy Excellent service . Was protected with a face Mask.Took our order, was prompt and serving was quick.Conversation with (Couple) short and sweet.We will return for Breakfast for the second time.Today is Friday the second of October. The special was Pumpkin pancakes. My mother of (91) years young ordered from our waitress Julie, excellent service. She introduced the Supervisor Donna who made these delicious pancakes as my Mother raved highly how tasty and light with the true taste of pumpkin, with syrup oosing onto the last bite!Our Morning was a good choice to stop at the Carson Nugget Cafe.This is the scoop of the day!

Service not that great food is just ok. Could have been better. Waitress could have come over to make sure everything was ok but didnt. Was a lot better 10 years ago.

The little cafe closes too early for a casino, and then its also closed on weekends! Whats that about! Then my slot machine froze and I had the machines service light on for a good 15 minutes. Still, No one came to help. We had to flag someone down who was not helpful at all. Eventually the machine fixed/unfroze itself, probably cuz I waited so long. Point is, the dilemma screwed up my gambling experience that nite.

Restaurant breakfast was sub standard. All American Breakfast...hash browns had funny, almost rancid taste. Bacon was very salty, eggs were fine. Cranberry juice was watered down & did not taste like cranberry juice.

The Nugget is one of the staple Casinos of Carson City.They have all of the usual gambling/gaming machines and tables, albeit fewer then you would expect for such a large building.My relatives and myself enjoy spending small amounts of money at the Old-Fashioned NICKLE Poker machines. You can play 20 rounds with just $1, but you cant win the $$$Lump Royal flush payout without betting $0.25.I recommend checking the place out, but dont hang out long!THE SMOKE INSIDE IS TERRIBLE.They seriously need to upgrade the air filtration system to a more modern one.Almost all of the large casinos in Reno have excellent air inside, but The Nugget Carson City is years behind with their filtering systems.

Small older casino. Has some characters in it for sure. For a new player a great place to learn to play BJ with their $5 tables.

Horrible experience with the manager and cage staff. I was cashing in my voucher and I had questions regarding my players club card and the lady with the pink rock ring ( forgot her name) talked to me as if I was a child and I did not know how to work the card in a machine. Your staff needs to be courteous and attentive to all the players; especially when losing money. I told her that she needs to change her attitude and be nicer to people. After that I tried to speak to the GSM Michelle and she just disregarded my intent to speak her and did not offer to make it right.This is no way to treat people, please visit a Vegas casino and take pointers. You at least owe it to those visiting and maintaining your job to be courteous and make everyones gameplay that much better.I am very dissapointed in this establishment.

I sat there gambling for at least 5 hours. Spending 100s of dollars. And finally, after about 2 to 2-1/2 hours of not one cocktail waitress coming around offering drinks. I had to pull one of the floor employees up. And ask him if I could get something to drink. And they acted like I was asking them to pay for it. So no, I wouldnt recommend going there. Not if you may get thirsty while youre giving the renter @#^# a bunch of money!

The staff are going well beyond at taking care of players. The cocktail waitresses are attentive and quite frankly, very beautiful.They have a wide variety of slot machines and table games including Keno. They have many promotionalevents throughout the year and every amenity for the card club player.Their security is very watchful over the patrons and polite. Parking is plentiful and secure.They have restaurants and a wine bar, along with two more bars on the casino floor. On weekends live bands play and no cover charge.

The food was really good. Their ceasar salad was amazing, totally different from other places. We went on a friday and they had a deal on steak and lobster if you have a players card, it was only $25! The service was great as well.

Very comfortable small local casino, nice feel and very busy. We dined at the Eatery and while our waitress was amazingly absent - the manager stepped in, served us and made this experience superb. Very good food and with a Players Club Card - at a discounted price. We stopped to see the local band Black Rose playing inside at the Loft, a makeshift bar / sports book / lounge. Very small, but excellent sound and a terrific performance. All in all, well worth coming back to, the staff and their efforts make it worth it.

We had a coupon from our hotel for their American Breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, choice of meat & toast. We were a large group. Waitress was very good. Food was usual fare, nothing special.

It was my first time. I never been there before I had an awesome time. My friend took me there for a comedy night show.. We had a great time. We went to the bar after that. The lucky 7 everyone was nice and very friendly. I had an awesome conversation with an older gentleman that carry on for over an hr. I definitely recommend the place to anyone coming in to town for the first time.

For some reason the cafe thinks that brown French fries and brown fish for their fish-and-chips is acceptable. They stated they changed the oil in the morning and when they brought me a new plate I put the fish on a white napkin which immediately turned dark brown. *Reduced bill of 20%, though my son only ate his sandwich - not the brown oily fries. Would not recommend their cafe. The servers attitude was not pleasant either.

Free Thanksgiving lunch and free drinks..

Stoped in here on the way to Virginia City from Reno. Didnt expect to find a Nugget of a place in the middle of nowhere. This place for hanging out, gambling a bit or eating is really special. It might have been a real popular place back in the good ole days, but now, not many folks visit here. All of the staff members we interacted with were great. Very pleasant and helpful folks. Casino is large enough to enjoy yourself, but not so big as to get lost. The real special place here is the eatery located inside of the Nugget. There were six of us on this trip and we ate here multiple times over several days. Encountering different server staff each time, and each staff member made our visit very special. It really seemed like they enjoyed their job. The food was excellent and the prices were astonishingly inexpensive. We all agreed that we would come back here if just for the dinning experiences only. Excellent experiences. Would highly recommend and will certainly return.

Almost an hour to get our food then when our food finally arrived my burger was over cooked, bun was not cooked and cold cheese was just thrown on there as an after thought. Waitress brought me a new bun but I chose to send my meal back. The waitress was amazing but we will never be back!!!!! I could go on and on about our experience but Im so mad I will end up saying rely mean things so better to just leave it here!! Ih for the kitchen staff if you want to keep customers. This is the second time in a row we have had this experience

Be careful. I left my wallet on a slot machine and walked away. 2 minutes later I went back and it was gone. The security said the cameras didnt view that area.I called the sheriff because there is no city police and filed a report. My wallet was taken by a staff member and it had $600 inside. I was so upset because casino monitoring systems capture every foot of the gaming floor. This casino is crooked

I visit once a year with a golf group. Its not luxurious but everyone is friendly and the quality and service is outstanding.

Five if us had dinner at Angelinas tonight. Tony was our server. He was so so efficient and has a wonderful sense of humor. The servers there arent usually so accomodatiting about separate checks there, he made a couple jokes about it and made us feel comfortable about it. The Prime Rib was cooked perfect and served hot.

This casino has been a part of my life since I was a kid. The western theme, the steakhouse, the live music, they all play a part in the casinos originality.

Took a fortune to TRY, but not succeed into a bonus on the slot machines. If you FINALLY got into a bonus, it didnt even pay back a tiny small amount you put in !!! EXTREMELY tight casino. Never going back... worst yet !!!

Aside from gambling, the whole place is nice. They have the Batmobile replica inside! Its a very nice place and the staff there is kind and courteous.

Cool old school vibe, great steak resteraunt and comedy club. We take the drive from Tahoe over for date night.

I wish I could rate zero stars because this place has the worst food I’ve ever had at any casino. Absolutely NO flavor, bland as hell. After I finished a little under half of it, I stopped and felt horrendous. Let’s just say the bathroom trip I had to make was not pretty. Never eat here. The bathrooms are also disgusting. The smell is a harsh combination of chemical cleaner and urine. Unclean and unkept. The person who helps with the Keno numbers and such in the restaurant was a little creepy and made me feel uncomfortable. Our waitress was nice enough and helpful. Other than that, all around terrible experience. Steer clear of here if you actually want to enjoy yourself. The only valid reason for coming here that I could think of, would be if you have some severe constipation with no laxatives on-hand.

While we absolutely enjoyed the salad bar, soup and fresh rolls, the actual casino was run down. The workers throughout were very slow and rude. Not friendly at all. It was our first and last visit.

There are a lot of things to like about this place. It is wide open and the machines are a good distance from one another, so you dont feel like you are sitting right on top of someone that you havent met before. There are different dining and cocktail choices from simple and cheap to nicer and more expensive. There is a lot of parking, so even when they are busy, there is somewhere to go.The staff was friendly and they do a good job taking care of the cleaning and so forth. The ashtrays are frequently emptied and the bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with toilet paper and hand towels.I wish they were a bit better about ensuring that you had something to drink whilst playing in there, but otherwise, it was a lovely place to visit. There is a good selection of both older and newer gaming machines and a variety of other entertainment options. The casino is also n walking distance of some interesting things in downtown Carson City.This is a good place to go for some relaxation and fun, for adults or the whole family.

We went in for lunch. This place used to be a wonderful restaurant. It is no longer wonderful and its about a third of the size that used to be. The food was cold and terrible. If you just want to eat dont bother.

Not bad for casino food. I ordered breakfast steak and eggs even though it was dinner time. A little trick I learned a while ago was that the breakfast steak is the same steak they charge you more for on the dinner menu. This holds true for pretty much every place that serves breakfast all day. It was a decent steak, advertised at 8 oz but realistically it was closer to 10 oz. Id order the eggs over easy as most places leave them too runny sunny side up. Cant give em 5 stars due to slow than average check out. Once Im done I dont like to wait to leave.
