I like this park and my son loves to play here! I’m disappointed in the lack of community coming together to clean up after themselves/others. I often find that people like to throw parties for children or gatherings and neglect to throw away trash despite all the trash cans surrounding the park. It’s sad and I hope that more people are teaching their children to respect the earth and clean up when possible - even if it isn’t your own trash!!! Please keep this park clean. It has so much potential to be a beautiful park to run and play!!!!
Pretty park! If you go, be careful, the parking situation here seems precarious, with signs posted and parking across the street at the school. Wouldnt want anyone getting towed. I dont get the vibe from the signs that neighbors have had good experiences with park visitors and the signs, I believe, reflect that. Sad to get that vide here cause its a beautiful place.
Very nice secluded park. Kinda small but lots of grass area.
Nice for picnics but needs an update. Same playground from when i was a boy im 31 now and i played there when i was 10,12. Good 20 years and not a thing has change. Very quiet
I had good experience with bibi pastry its products are so delicious .
Love this little park...perfect for the kids to spend some energy...lots of trees for shade.
Very pretty and close to home! Sidewalk going though the park.
Pretty little park, peaceful
Pretty park, and quite big. Lots of open space, but theres plenty of big trees for a shaded picnic. As a psuedo grandpa, I like this little gem, itd be cool for the little ones. Go play, its Spring time!
Nice park! Unfortunately there is a lot of tweaker homeless types...too bad!
Cute park close to home.
Great, comfy spot. Safe. Nice place to hang out and relax.
Great place for the kids. Loses one star for the lack of parking.
A little run down and one swing is missing. But close by and nice grassy fields.
This is a park thats within easy walking distance of where we live and has become a great close place to bring the kids. There have been times where the homeless have left trash and even needles near the trash cans so we always take a look around to be safe but usually a great place to play
Closer by. Clean for the most part.. transients tend to be lounging in shade during the day, but keep to themselves and doesnt feel unsafe or ghetto like!
Oak Park is one of the best locations in Sacramento its really great for its people in all of its culture
We looooove this park, small park but lots of room for running and sport events
Good park to take a stroll are just relaxe and take in the fresh air
Nice lil park tucked away. Could use some water on one end. And some homeless riffraff hanging out
Good place to have barbeque
It needs water fountain or water source for pets specially during hot days
Good place
Very busy during the evening! Different sports are being play here
Very big , kid and dog friendly
Great little park. Grass can be soggy on north side.
Nice little Park you couldnt see from two different roads and no parking.
From the front unfortunatly it not only looks trashed but gives no clue that theres even a park there. It took me two yrs to realize what hidden beauty there is beyond the lackluster front entrance. Once you venture in its surprisingly spacious and quite lovely. If the county took the time & a small amount of $ to fix up the entrance I would happily recommend it to families & pet owners.Great place to read and relax.
I was excited to have this park so close to us... lets just say I was disappointed. Its a great space! Tons of trees and path to walk. The play structure is old, rusty and just plain dirty. Definitely needs to be updated. Lots of homeless people hanging around, sleeping, smoking, etc. If we go for a walk, well stop here briefly to play, but if were planning a park trip, we choose other parks that we can drive to.
Weird access. There is no official parking for this park. It can be difficult to find since access routes are narrow and easy to miss. Has good playground and secluded multi-use sports field.
The grounds are relatively well kept, but the play structure was covered in graffiti and garbage... as a side note, theres not any parking nearby.
This park is at the end of a private road, which means there is no parking. You arent even allowed to drive in and drop off or pick up anyone or anything. The residents of the homes on that road act like its grounds for calling the cops so beware!
Ive been here a few times. It does have a weird entrance. Im referring to the on offEl Camino Ave. You have to basically park in one of the neighborhoods and walk this weird little uphill path that needs to repair desperately. Its nice in there. But you see allot of tweakers rolling in the front or sides .
Reasonable place to take kids to play, has a horse shoe area and a port a potty
Small park. Always homeless people will sleep on the bench
Great, quiet park with slides and swings. Perfect for the little young ones.
Its a quiet park away from traffic. Lots of field space with green grass. Playground itself could use an update though.
Nice little hidden gem.
The play structure at this park is absolutely disgusting, way out of date and pretty dangerous. I wouldnt take kids here. There were at least 4 homeless people sleeping near the playground with carts full of stuff. The grounds are beautiful but gosh the playground was horrifying.
A quite place to go in the evening with the kids and drink your own home made coffee or tea but only good for the locals arround the park
When I was there it was a nice quiet park
Nice n quite area to just be
Nice park for kids but limited amenities
Fun place
Park sucks. No parking, which is odd for a PARK. grass is dead, swingset looks like its from the mid 18th century, and the people who live around it arent particularly nice. Two stars is the benefit of the doubt.
Nice place
Love to get high here
Just s park
Family
Better than it looks from the street
Its another Carmichael park
Good place for everybody
Nice for the kids to play
Quiet and small
Awesome shade trees
