This park is a wonderful spot for family and solo adventure whether you are biking, walking, or picnicking. ADA friendly and pet friendly. Clean bathrooms well spaced along the bike trail in various park sections. Bring a hat and water. Scenic, well kept grounds and the bike trail along the river is wonderful. Do exercise situational awareness as the trail is multi-use. Our 5k was met with many other trail users and we also saw deer, ducks, and many different birds and insects. Excellent natural scenery. We on the return leg of our trip picked up strewn water bottles and a snorkel we found along the trail. Trash and recycle- we are all in this together.

I found this place while riding the bike trail. The facilities were clean and the shade was welcoming. What pushed William Pond over the top for me was the more than ample available parking and American River access. This has become my go to park.

Well kept and very beautiful. Bathrooms are cleaner than youd expect for a public park.

My family loves this place. We are either walking, trail hiking, or biking a few times a week here. Its clean, safe, and beautiful. Best thing it connects to a couple other parks and the bike trail leads to Downtown Sac.

Great system of trails, including paved, gravel and dirt. Connects to the American River in several spots, which has beautiful vistas, wildlife and places to cool off. River is shallow in most areas, and can be waded easily. Perfect little getaway.

This place is perfect for a nice relaxing picnic by the river and the pond. Plenty of space..

I really enjoy visiting William pond park. Todays beautiful Christmas weather, clear skies and the way the sun hit the water was just so fantastic I had to share.

Found this place by accident. You can bbq here or let your dogs run free. There are some good trails that run by the river. Nice spots to just relax in the summer time and take your kayak out.

We meet up here many times a year for our weekly rides. The only thing is I wish more benches were in the shade especially during the summer months and there should be more drinking fountains for the amount of people that visit.

Beautiful quite place ..great for kayaking and simple river fun ...very open and sunny so bring an umbrella as there is very limited shade..also bring life jackets as there is a current that pulls here especially for children

Access to the river needs to be made user friendly. Rails and concrete path access would be great seeing as that its user pay parking.

Great location! Huge area to explore, perfect for outdoor ventures, picnics, and outings. It gets pretty busy but there is a lot of space to find a nice spot by the water. Great place for friendly dogs too!

Very clean and easy to find, parking was spacious everyone was friendly even despite social distancing the pond was clean and well maintained the trails were clean and safe for my small children and as we pulled up the restrooms were being serviced which is always a good sign at a public park especially with your family, also people on the pier were catching bluegill and bass so wonderful experience hands down

Picturesque. you have to hike in a bit for swimmable river access, but there is a deliciousness of this River location that cannot be matched by others. This is the type of location that you get married at, throw a small party, or an Easter egg hunt. Very family-oriented, I believe that this location is perfect for a loving family..

Arden Ponds has been a GoTo spot for my family for years. Love this place.

Beautiful park , only main problem is the county needs to take care of the environmental essentials in the park, dried grass and garbage everywhere very disappointing to view. Pollution everywhere even the river despite the fact that ducks were swimming in that filth.

Spent years running here then moved out to Fair Oaks. Hadnt been back in almost 4 years and didnt realize street parking went to resident permit only. Pickup a county park pass online its the way to go (and remember to put it in your car). Great place to run, bike, picnic or chill along the river, levee or parkway

William park is my favorite park in Sacramento and we really enjoyed there and it has a lot place for family to make barbecue .

Great place to go walk your dog see nature enjoy the Sun cost $5 to get in or you can buy a $50 permit from the county that last one year that permit gets you into multiple other parts as well

Too my daughters here when they were young and now Im taking my grandson. We love feeding the ducks and enjoying the nature trails. Beautiful park and a lot of fun!

I hiked along the bike trail and stayed off bike trail by hiking on the dirt part. It is a very safe place to hike by myself as long as I hiked in the bike trails. I am afraid...lol

A great place to spend an afternoon. Lots of trails. The pond has many geese roaming about. Not a good place for mountain bikes... Most trails off the paved path and only for pedestrians and horses. Great path for road bikes though.

Easy to access at the end of Arden Way. Beautiful place to enjoy the American river and the parkway trail. Take the kids/family for a walk or bike ride.

Nice huge park and its not crowded at all. People BBQing, having a picnic, walking, riding their bikes or fishing. They have bathrooms, bbq grill and picnic tables. You pay $5 for the whole day. You can pay cash or credit/debit cars. Enjoyed it very much.

This is a river access that we use quite often, but it also where my older sister had her wedding. It was a perfect spot for a small wedding and for photos with the natural landscape in the background. Plenty of trees and grass, just be aware of the bicyclists! Will positively go back, we went last week! ️

My dogs love being out on the trails and by the river, so I had a great time as well. Peaceful

I dont think there is very many negative things that can be said about these facilities. It doesnt get much better if you want to go to the river or go for a nice walk/hike.

This is my go to spot to access the river. You can walk to the ponds for a nice view or to try fishing. This is a good place to have a picnic or hang out on the grass. Bathrooms are available and there is a lot of shade and large trees. I like to walk over the bridge and on the trail.

We have been coming here for years... We Love to pack a lunch & come for the day or just a few hours to enjoy nature... Its peaceful & easy to get to...
