Really lovely place to stay. Rooms nice resort facilities ideal for children. Staff absolutely excellent. Had a problem re printing tickets online and the reception team couldnt have been more helpful. First class service.

We loved the resort. Its in a great location with a short walk to the beach. They even borrow out beach equipment so you dont have to purchase, or pay an arm and a leg to rent. First class. Clean, modern rooms and all have ocean views (although higher rooms have better views). Separate adult and kids pools was really nice and relaxing. Multiple fire pits and BBQ grills were available.

Extremely lovely resort, condos have ocean view which is wonderful for sunsets. Two pools, one for families and one for adults. During Covid-19 all sanitary/disenfecting steps were taken to assure rooms were clean and safe. All in all a great resort!

Clean, great location & managed well. Sunset near the pool was awesome. Loved the activities they scheduled for the guests. Dexters smile and warm personality made caramel apple making and pizza bingo a lot of fun. Movie night was set-up pretty cool. We will come back with more guests.

We had a first floor room by kids pool. It’s was fantastic quiet, clean and very family friendly. They used seals to ensure cleanliness. FYI use crosswalk to go past two streets for ocean access. Front desk check in efficient, courteous. Parking including in gated garage. Love this place will be back.

We had a wonderful 6 night stay the last week of August. The location is walking distance to the beach. We stayed in a one bedroom, which was small, but our friends stayed in a huge two bedroom. It was nice to have underground, secure parking. The adult pool was also a great feature. We will be back!

Perfect location to relax and enjoy the beach. Well kept modern units that offers home accomodations. We stayed at the 3rd floor 2 bed large unit with great ocean view. This place is a hidden gem! Love it️

This resort is amazing! The staff are all incredible! So close proximity to the beach! Great senior resort as well as separate area for families. Serene quiet is not compromised. I highly recommend this property! Many upgrades and Reno’s make this property a big bucket list item! Guys, can I get a free week for this posting? Lol PS. Grumpy people are not allowed at the resort so best to go to Vegas!

A very nice place to stay! But just FYI parking and WI FI are not free. Even after showing the front desk associate my booking confirmation that shows both being free, we were still charged and told that there was nothing that could be done. With that being said, the room was very nice, the views are great, the pool is lovely and it was a very nice experience.

The view from the room was amazing. Having the balcony to sit out and relax was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be booking another stay here in the future.

Great place to stay! Close to the beach with excellent view of the ocean. Resort was very clean and my daughter and I felt safe there. Many of the usual resort activities were not available due to COVID-19 but we still enjoyed our stay nevertheless. Would highly recommend to others.

Our stay at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort was well worth the travel it took to get there. Located in a great spot with large and spacious condos, beautiful grounds, helpful/nice resort staff and the beach just across the street. We will come back!

Family getaways- during the COVID-19 - the staff kept every clean and sanitized. Even the pool was kept with only a few people. Location was right near the beach, you can walk and not worry about parking. I would like to come back soon:)

Just had an amazing, restful stay at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort! We wanted a quiet getaway to one of the less-crowded CA beaches, and North Ponto fit the bill. The resort was perfect for us, just a few minutes walk across the road from the beach. Since wed made our reservations about a month in advance we were entitled to a room upgrade if one was available at check-in. As it turned out, there was an oceanview room available for us. Raymond at the front desk was awesome! He was very efficient, capable and friendly and really made us feel welcome when we checked in.The room was perfect--roomy and very clean, and it had been sanitized and then sealed before our arrival. All of the dishes, silverware, pans, etc had been cleaned in the dishwasher, which was also then sealed for us. I really felt like staff was very serious in making sure everything was sanitized.We walked on the beach mornings and evenings, and occasionally made the short drive into downtown Carlsbad for shopping or dining, but were also quite comfortable cooking some of our own meals in the kitchen. Check-out was super-fast and easy (Raymond nailed it again!).This was actually our second stay at the Seapointe and now its the only place wed ever consider staying in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area. Cant wait to come back!

We had a mid week stay that was not too crowded. The condo was clean and in good shape. Its a great location and we got an ocean view. Only downfall is the wifi is very slow! Otherwise - highly recommend.

I wanted to get away for a couple of days, so I made some reservations at Seapointe. The room was nice and the check-in was smooth. The problem was the Wi-Fi at the resort wasvery poor. I had a zoom meeting one afternoon that I couldnt complete. The Wi-fi forthe internet was connecting and disconnecting throughout the stay. I always bring alongmy firestick for tv viewing and it continually was buffering and dropping. In todays worldwhere everyone needs a good Wi-Fi signal, Seapointe was the worst. I will turn my vacationweek into HGVC and stay at some resorts that have capable Wi-Fi.. I will call before Ireturn to visit, to see if it has been upgraded. IT is a necessity for a stay for me, especiallyin a pandemic where other services offered are minimized. The resort was very clean.

Such a beautiful, modern and well maintained resort! The unit was big and spacious, was really clean and everything was perfect! The view from our balcony and bedroom was so breathtaking!

The room was very clean and I felt like it was adequately sanitized. There were stickers sealing the dishwasher with clean dishes and the door to the room. And the rooms are very nice. We were really happy with the stay. The only drawbacks Im sure will be corrected in the near future. They had just opened up a few days earlier after quarantine and were still getting some things together. So the rooms on either side of us were being painted and some repairs being done - there was noise during the day. The air conditioning was set to unoccupied. The temperature in the room was 80 degrees when we arrived. I kept adjusting it to occupied to turn on the air conditioning but I must not have been doing it right as it kept defaulting back to unoccupied after a few hours. I heard from other guests that the day before we arrived there was no hot water because they hadnt turned the hot water heaters back on yet. The arcade room was all powered down and we werent able play ping-pong. Probably because of the strict cleaning requirements, we werent able to get a late checkout and had to quickly throw things together and leave in a mass exodus.But we felt these were minor inconveniences. The facility is great for families with two swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court, beach volleyball, pool table and basic put-put golf. The rooms are really nice, clean, well equipped and comfortable and the price was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

I was given an ocean view unit for a week. Resort is so close to nice restaurants and shopping. Indoor garage is very convenient. Staff is very helpful.

Beach accessories available through guest services at no cost. Beach access is a walk, and better beaches are a short drive away. Even with COVID protocols, services were responsive and facilities generally accessible. In room appliances similar to one bdrm apt or condos.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. We have stayed at other Grand Pacific Resort properties and have never been disappointed. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Lovely property with beautiful well-appointed ocean facing suites. We really enjoyed the free hospitality breakfast where the delightful young man hosting the breakfast gave us a nice briefing on area sights and activities. You simply walk across the street, Highway 101, and youre at a the beach. Our family highly recommends this property.

Amazing property with ocean view..updated resort with firepit to relax at night, activities everyday and just a beautiful resort. My parents have owned at this resort since I was 5 yrs old and I am so blessed to have this as my second home! So many memories, beautiful views and ambiance..and always treated like family here! What a gift that has been for our family to join together and enjoy time with each other at such an incredible resort! You wont be disappointed if you come and enjoy...Whats not to like???

My point was the COVID shut down activities were inconsistent. Why not let people use the little putting green but allow multiple people in the same pool? Seems like you wanted less maintenance for the same $. Room wasnt all that clean and the managers attitude was less than stellar. Will most definitely not come again.

Love this place. Many activities and beautiful rooms w ocean views and fireplaces. They have cable, coffee maker, electric kettle. Full size kitchen. They provide the standard coffee and tea but I bring my own coffee, tea and filters, snacks and bottled water. They gave us a bottle of white wine and some dark chocolate, Nice suprise! All the staff were so nice and hospitable. There is a Ralphs grocery store and other shops pretty close.

Very comfortable, clean rooms, a nice fire pit, nice people at the front desk.

I love this timeshare. I have stayed at many in Carlsbad and this is my favorite. Adult pool and jacuzzi make for a great place to relax. Family amenities make it good for all ages. Views and ocean breezes abound!

Great Resort overall, The only minor item is that this resort is not close to a good beach area.

We stayed at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort for 4 nights. All service associates were extremely helpful and made our stay as easy and memorable as one could hope for. Our three-year old son loved the apartment and felt very comfortable. The room was clean, well furnished and properly equipped to make yourself at home. We cooked meals every day and enjoyed the mini-golf as well as the half-court to shoot some ball. The location is perfect as one can walk to the beach and go grocery shopping within a five-minute drive.The only regret I had was leaving the resort because my extension request was cancelled due to availability.

Cute garden. I believe all rooms face the Pacific ocean. Adult pool & family pool area. BBQ grills & lots of recreation & activities on site such as bball, volleyball, tennis, pool, mini arcade & crafts. Other than the Amtrak going through the back throughout the day and night, its a beautiful relaxing resort.

At the time of booking, and numerous times after (including the day before, and day of check-in) I requested a room near the friends we were traveling with. The request was not fullfilled and we were VERY far apart. The room was not in good shape..the carpeting was badly worn and the nail strip was exposed causing you to step on nails ..painful! The iron was defective, and the blender didnt work. The ice maker did not work. The refrigerator was difficult to close. The view of the cars parked outside was unpleasant. We have stayed here before and loved it. This stay was very disappointing. In addition, on Saturday, a large group of people monopolized the childrens pool area. They did not appear to be guests, did not have wrist bands on and were continually opening the gate for more of their friends. They used both of the tables ALL DAY (into the late evening) and all of the chairs. Real guests of the resort had no lounge chairs or tables to use. Our wrist bands were checked, but the majority of these folks did not have them..not quite sure why they were allowed to use the pool and area. It was not fair to the GPX guests to have these people monopolize the pool area, tables, chairs, firepit. It was the last day there for us, and we were looking forward to our grandson playing in the pool..it was spoiled by these people. In addition, the mask policy was not enforced...many guests were not using them. Disappointing visit, to say the least!

This is a two-bedroom unit at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. Not only is there no grass, pool or oceanview, this is the only unit with bushes that block the balcony. This is despicable!! Look to the left and right of this unit all the balconies have no bushes and unobstructed views. Whose bad idea was this??!!I was told despite your request the rooms are assigned based on a lottery when not an owner. We own and stayed at multiple timeshare resorts worldwide and this is a first. Know what youre getting before you trade your unit or pay to stay.

Great resort! The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very nice. My favorite was the gym not being stuck in a converted hotel room, it was wide open and super. The location is perfect for visiting San Diego, restaurants and the beach is right across the street. The hotel was perfect and I cant think of one complaint.

The views from the 3rd floor are priceless. Catching a sunset like this makes for a prefect evening. Rooms are clean and roomy. Love the fire place. Just across the 101 is Carlsbad state park beach. Not much sand however the collection of river rock is truly unique. #floatnthang Always watch children around water.

The condo was spacious and comfortable. Nice ocean view. Good fitness room, enjoyed the wine and cheese happy hour and the patio movie. Easy parking, very friendly staff.

Overall excellent property. Very well maintained. Easy access (walking distance) to the COASTER train that will take you to San Diego or Oceanside with stops along the way. A nice quiet getaway, a well appointed condo with a fireplace, and a great view of the Pacific. Separate family and adult pools are a plus!

Just did a staycation at seapointe. Was extremely impressed by their cleanliness and friendliness. They are taking this pandemic seriously and have multiple layers of protection in place with hand sanitizer around the property, seals to get into your room, dishwasher and bed. Check in was a breeze. All interactions at front desk are done via plexiglass and text message. Gated parking garage with one way arrows. Lots of activities to do on property and the front desk has activities as well. Also they will allow you to borrow beach supplies. We borrowed an umbrella. We had an ocean facing 1 bedroom. We were in walking distance to the beach across the street. Less than 5 min drive north or south to additional Carlsbad beaches. Only complaint we had (which is no fault of Seapointe) was a family above us. Their kids would run and jump so loudly it would make our ceiling fan sway and creak. Would definitely stay here again being a non member. However, just found out they are a part of Hilton Vacations which we do have.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location right across from beach; friendly & accommodating staff. Grounds are beautiful well maintained with lots to do on site...tennis, volleyball, basketball, adult and kid pools etc...Staff was constantly cleaning and disenfecting common areas, sanitization stations in high contact areas.The room was very clean, all kitchen items were sterilized in dishwasher, tv remotes were sterilized and wrapped in plastic. The staff are taking covid seriously...We would go back!

Outstanding location right across the street from the beach. Excellent customer service, especially Manny at the Front Desk. He always make an extract effort to make sure the guests feel special and get everything they need.The activities staff are excellent and the activities enjoyable. This resort is definitely a must.

Very close beach access, resort has water toys available to borrow (boogie boards, sand shovels, wagons, beach chairs). We stop at Costco which is very close by and stock the kitchen! Kitchen is supplied with all the dishes and cookware you should need, outdoor grills are also available. There is a kids pool and splash pad, table tennis, pool table and put-put golf. The resort is slightly outdated and the rooms are on the smaller side (for a resort). We had plenty of space in a 2 bedroom, lost a list of space by moving to a one bedroom. Very clean and very attentive staff. Great views. There is a train that runs by, which we didnt mind and the kids liked to watch it go by, but it is loud. Washers and dryers available, $2/use.

Overall, we had a pretty nice stay. Staff are friendly. Condo style room were clean and large. I would stay again.Check-in process could be simplified a little. For example, we were given 6 extra key cards at chech-in and it was explained to us that these could be redeemed for towels but would need to pay $25 if the towels were not returned (or was a charge if we lost key card)? Towels in room would be less complicated. And something about $100 extra charged for a damage deposit. (Assuming we got it back, but havent checked.)Also, it seemed like we were given one of the least desirable units( #129) in terms of location. This unit was closest to the road and commuter rail line, but literally the farthest from the pool, lobby, elevator or any other property feature.

The property is well maintained. Staff are very friendly. We loves the family spa and swimming pool. The game room is ok. Wish you have more traditional games instead of arcade games. The sofa bed is too soft in my opinion. This facility is excellent for family with small children.

When they were selling me shares for this property the room that they showed me was really nice. This is my first time staying as an owner since it is my son’s birthday and i had to book it under bonus time they gave me a room with problems with A/C so they had portables installed on the window and a room by the freeway so u can hear every car that passes because of that crack opem on the window due to the portable ac hooked up. I didnt wanna move rooms cause it is very inconvenient but I believe they shouldve manage better to give good rooms to owners first before anybody else. Then the elevator by the garage doesnt usually stops at 1st floor it goes all the way up before it stops to 1st floor which we had to wait for a very long time cause everytime it stops on the first it is already full of guests from 3rd and 2nd floor. It was just not a very great good first stay at the property that I purchased my shares from. So dissappointing.

Staff was fantastic, but rooms werent quite as clean as they should have been. Lots of dust and grime. Good place for families though with activities, kids hot tub area, playground etc. Excellent view of the ocean as well!

Very affordable price! Clean, outstanding staff, close to everything in Carlsbad or Encinitas! Would highly recommend. Great for families of all ages.

Great place, bad timing.(pandemic)

We had a great family vacation at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. Wonderful location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The property is nicely updated. We enjoyed the shared amenities -- lounge seating and firepits, billiards, ping-pong and onsite sports (volleyball, basketball, tennis), and a well-equipped workout room. Our suite was nicely appointed. We enjoyed the fireplace as well as the balcony overlooking the water. The staff was very nice and helpful. Well definitely be back.

The night we arrived from the East coast our thermometer lost power. After maintenance attempted to fix it for over two hours, we had to wait until the next morning. Again, we had to get up early and have maintenance in our room for another two hours. The hot tub was also not working during our stay. The view is fabulous but the facility did not meet expectations.

This place is amazing!!!! Very clean and great amenities. The staff is very well trained and were pros! We enjoyed the family activities, and took advantage of borrowing beach stuff. We used the workout room, an four kids loved the arcade, and the hot tub was great.Only suggestion is to serve real half and half with the free morning coffee. The coffee was good!

Resort well maintained, friendly staff, great location to walk to beach. Has separate family pool and activity area for kids. Activities available both free and inexpensive and for various ages. Away from busy downtown but close enough to enjoy. Warning, if you do wine and paint, remember which cup is water for brush and which is wine. Theres always one, Im told, whose brush goes in the wine.

If youre planning to stay more than 7 days and a one bedroom suite understand that there is not a lot of storage space 4 any good you might bring to prepare meals in the kitchen. However the location and the resort are very nice and the staff is extremely courteous easy to work with. Great location!!

Every time we return is like coming home. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Consistent quality and offerings. Every Grand Pacific Resort managed property we have visited has made us feel at home.

Fantastic location. Away from the hustle and bustle of touristy spots of Carlsbad but just a few minute drive to get there when you need to go into town. Close easy walk to the beach. Nice clean rooms, great pool and the views are fantastic. Would like to give a shout out to Brant for helping us while we were there. He is really fantastic. Ran into him a couple other times while we were there and he always asked if everything was meeting our expectations. The rest of the staff were great as well. Love this place and can’t wait to go back.

I haven’t stayed here, but love to walk about the property and take in the views.

I really loved a lot of things about this resort but in the end my husband wouldnt want to stay again due to the other guests staying up late and kids running in the halls past 10pm. I loved the proximity to the ocean, pool area (which was closed one day of our stay) and other fun amenities. The sports courts were not very accessible and a long walk.

Great service from check-in to check out. Room was well-appointed and very comfortable. Great place for a family get-together or vacation. The kitchen had everything you could need. Great location, close to a variety of activities in the San Diego area.

My family and I go here every summer for one week. Its awesome here! The beach is maybe a five minute walk away and you can see the sunset (on most balconies I think).

Conviniet location to beach and nice seperate pools for adults and kids. We order groceries using prime now and the housekeeping came with the delivery person to drop everything at our door step. Nice staff.

Nice rooms, helpful staff, and nice location, but the walls/ceilings are very thin. We stayed on the 2nd floor, of the 3 story building, and were kept up at night by the people above us. We constantly heard loud footsteps, and even voices through the ceiling which I found very surprising. If you are a light sleeper, I would look elsewhere, unless you can ensure you stay on the 3rd floor.

The resort in and of itself is truly one of kind. The room service and staff are amazing, you can never get a bad view, and it is a 5 minute walk to the ocean. If you are considering staying there, dont hesitate. They have family friendly activities every day as well as equipment you can rent out to play tennis, basketball, volleyball, boogie boarding, pool toys, etc. Also has a really fun pool and splash pad. Definitely recommend.

Very clean, great service. the rooms are very nice.The view is spectacular.Parking is very easy.Everything about this resort is very simple, easy, spectacular and just smooth.We also had many meals here at the resort. food was great and atmosphere was very fun.Very chill place to spend a weekend. very romantic but family friendly too.

We had a lovely vacation stay here even though it was January. Although it rained, we were escaping the Midwest winter so it was still quite pleasant to us.It was quite disappointing on our last day, they had to inform us they had shut off our hot water while we were out for maintenance and couldnt relight it! Maybe the work should be done while someone isnt in the room next time.

Being close to the highway meant is was a little loud at the pool areas. Other than that, very nice facility and I would definitely stay here again.

This resort has wonderful rooms and great amenities for my kids! They had so much fun playing miniature golf on real grass then playing in the pool and spray area! We walked across the street to the beach (not an easy journey if you have a problem with stairs) and watched a beautiful sunset. As a BONUS we roasted marshmallows and made Smores in the fore pit area. Seapointe Resort is very kid friendly and have wonderfuly helpful and friendly staff.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Seapoint. The weather was truly perfect to enjoy the pools during the day, grills in the evening, and the fire places outside at night. There were some fun activities planned during the day like arts and crafts or free margaritas. It is also a 2 minute walk to the beach where you can see the beautiful waves, watch the surfers, or run on the sand. The rooms were nicer than my own one bedroom apartment I used to live in. Theres also a small arcade and above average gym available.
