I have always liked Nimisilla park. I loved learning its history when I was younger ftom.my mom who remembers the zoo and other community activities that took place during the 1850s. It is fun to walk the circle, it is gorgeous in the winter and fall trees are awesome. It is my favorite place.

We had fun, but needs cleaned up some. Ppl make a mess here at times..

Great place for family/friends cookout baseball games etc. Plenty of shade.

I grew up going there and when there was a whole zoo also. Epic games of thirty-three, sign out and horse. Summer league and Juneteenth. Picnics and just hanging out. Great shading from the trees and overall a tranquil experience.

There were a lot of kids and parents having fun. Generally, Im apprehensive about going here because of its checkered past but the playground and surrounding area is clean and safe. There was no riff raff around.

Nimisilla i grew up in this park the 5 stars are for my history there when u use to have to park outside of the park because it was to crowded to drive in. I lived around the corner from here maybe 2blocks.... The greatest times were here.

Its not handicap friendly. It would be nice to have easier access to the play area. Perhaps a couple of tables.

RELAXING PLACE TO GO SIT, READ SND THINK.

The park was mostly clean but there was broken glass in the pavilion area. There was also a drug deal that happened right in front of us... not the most ideal place to take your children. If they would clean it up more and find a way to keep certain people out then it would be a perfect park.

Its the best place in the city when its 90 plus outside. Cause of the contense brezz. Love

I went with my two kids for 5 mins before leaving. There were men loitering and cars parked sideways in the parking spaces just idling. One car kept circling the park slowly and the guy inside was making all my “mom alarms” go off. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going alone and definitely not with small children.

Playground is in good condition but the grounds are dirty with alot of trash on the ground. When we were there, there were many black men in the area-atleast 20-30 vehicles of just black men there to blast their rap music and deal drugs. Not recommended.

This is a good City Park to take your kids at its pretty well kept by the city and it gets them out of the house and get some to play my kids love it so please if you have kids and youre going to watch them and bring them to this park its pretty clean

I know it gets a bad wrap bc of its Urban image but I personally have never had or seen an issue at this park. So I dont mind taking my kids there. And the ppl that gather reminds me of the Front Porch days. But could use a more creative kind of equipment for the kids seems a little boring. A Merry-go-round and a real Teeter totter would be a good start...

This is my old hood park located off the O-Jays Blvd. Every hood n**ga from the ne b chilln out here, smoke, bottles, rolling thru in nice whips, my family lives here bbq everyday in the summer. I use to ball here on the courts one of the 1st places i played on a court as a kid

Nimisilla for all those dont know, is a time capsule. Its where local people come to reminisce, and expose their children to a time when life was simple, and carefree. I love this park...its part of my life story, and it will be so for my kids as well. If youre not from the area, you may be taken back a bit, but for those whom are familiar...all we remember are cookouts, basketball tournaments, family gatherings, finding new love, the old trees, playing in the big piles of leaves, festivals, cruising through in that favorite car...the list goes. This is one if the better parks in Canton. If youre afraid to stop and take it all in, then you might be missing something. Dont let fear control your behavior...
