You mean to tell me I can read a book (which I can reserve by app) under a gazebo, which sits a couple feet from a beautiful lake? Yes, please. Whether for the library or just the trail next to the lake, this is a great place to slow down and get some fresh air and exercise.

My son caught a four pound cat fish. My mom and I enjoyed looking at the beautiful fall trees. The park is well kept in the restrooms were clean.

Plenty of trails and open space to get away from the real word for a little bit. Very well designed and wildlife everywhere. If you need to relax for an hour or so I highly recommend coming here.

I love coming here! Ive been coming here for 5 years! The lake is absolutely amazing and the trails are really nice! I love listening to nature and seeing the birds! I love bringing my dog here and taking him on walks, as well!

We took a walk here and went to the wildlife conservation center, it was amazing. It was like a mini zoo when you cant actually go to the zoo. All the animals were named(what they were) and it great care. The paths are great with signs pointing you toward different paths. And dont forget to look for those rocks! That was fun, except I forgot the fb group!

Great path but poorly labeled. I got lost and had to turn around. If youre a runner, not for you. Multiple areas where it is easy to sprain ankle.

I come to Sippo all the time to walk the trails or go kayaking. Its always clean, the people are nice and the trails are clearly marked.You can visit the Nature Center off Genoa road and see the animals in rehabilitation almost like a mini zoo of local animals before theyre released back in the wild.

Great place to spend a day, boat and stand up paddle boarding. Plus the marina also has bait, tackle and snacks. Benefits Stark county Ohio parks( @starkparks ). Catfish, crappie, bass, bluegill are all accessible from the 50 person dock.

A hidden gem! Its well managed & lots of fun. A must in Stark County to visit.

Be sure to visit the Marina, Gateway Center, and animal rehab. Unfortunately, they have suspended boat rentals for now.

Sippo Lake has awesome trails to observe fish and wildlife from. Awesome time to spend with family. Also you could stop by the Perry branch of The Stark County District Library read a book while enjoying the view of Sippo Lake

Digital Djs and Photo Booths was here for a wedding ceremony and reception. This is a beautiful place at the Exploration Gateway. The ceremony was out back by the lake and reception following inside the hall.

Beautiful place. Fishing there isnt too bad just make sure not to go when its windy as heck out.

Its a beautiful place to be and theres many things to do like fish, go to the library, and/or the little playground in the back of the library. I would reccomend this place if you want to be in a peaceful spot!

Great park with very nice walking trails. Walking, fishing, boating, and BBQ. Lots of woods to walk through also. Dogs are also allowed so thats a big plus for me!

My daughters love the playground and the trails. Have yet to explore the library but have heard it is also excellent.

Love to walk or ride here regardless of the weather. So many trail options! The nature center is a fun and interesting stop along the way...everyone should come out and enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful! Dog friendly, it has bike trails, you can rent a bike, canoe, kayak or paddle boat. Were very lucky to have this park, I wish I had gone there sooner!

This is my favorite Stark park. I love the scenery here and the trails. The animal rehabilitation center is my favorite place to visit and the library is great too!

Great place to enjoy nature, go on walks, watch birds up close. You can bring your kids as there are indoor activities and learning opportunities. Visit the store and pick up some Christmas gifts. There is also a library on site.

A relaxing lake that soothes my soul....

Nice community park with hiking trails and a great fishing dock. The fishing dock is handicap accessible and has sides on it for safety. This is a great place for kids to have their first fishing experience. There are plenty of pan fish for easy catching. Boat rentals are available for a reasonable charge. Fishing bait is available for purchase. If you are 16 or older you will need a fishing lincese.

Great oasis in a busy world. Was very nice to find a quiet place to fish, canoe, walk trails, or just vegetate. Very well maintained, clean restrooms, and great boat ramp. Well kept pavilion areas and even an outdoor kitchen area.

This library branch is out of this world! The mega messy play is something we look forward to all month!

I grew up on Sippo in the 80s. Back then this area was dirt paths and a wooden tower you could watch out to the lake. Now it is an amazing place. It wasnt until a few weeks ago that I got to visit the Genoa side and watch animals get watermelon treats then drive over to the 12th street side and wander. I found at least 15 things I wanted to buy in the bookstore. The canal and animals display was amazing. The recycle fish was a great idea and my son loved feeding the fish. The library is jam packed with stuff. (I admit to being a bit wistful about the old one. My metal plate library card was in a LOT of books there before the arson) The fish tank is mesmerizing. Both sides are great places to bring the kids!

I Went Here For The Fishing Area...This Isnt A Terrible Spot To Either Go Alone, With Someone, Or With A Small Group. Every Time I Was There, It Seemed Very Well Kept Up With, It Was Clean, The People Were Quiet, The Fishing Area Did Have Seating, The Parking Lot Was Clean, Etc.

Nice wide paths. The gazebo is a nice place to watch turtles, birds and fish. Love the wilderness center. The library has a neat little museum inside. Well laid out park.

Wonderful activities for the little ones. Winter camp was a lot of fun. Thank you to all those that put on the event!!

Very nice lake! The fishing dock and shoreline fishing is producing good fish. Theres a boat ramp too. Please dispose of fishing line in trash/receptacles. Fish and ducks get tangled up in it easily! Good luck!

This is a wonderful park! It has good parking. Also very good areas for a picnic. Different picnic tables in different nice shaded areas.

This was my first time here and I loved it. We took our bikes and bikes the path. It was short, about 30 minutes, but beautiful scenery and great trails. I cant wait to go again.

A very peaceful escape from the business of life. The location is convenient as well. My wife and I enjoyed just sitting on the dock and watching the sunset on a beautiful summer evening.

I fish the tournament here every year and have never seen such ignorance. They started the tournament when sign up started. Not fair at all. People were already bringing up fish and half the people werent even signed up. How is that a fair and equal tournament. Its not. Will never fish this tournament of ignorance again.

You can canoe, kayak or paddleboard with your own boat on this lake or rent one for less than 10 dollars an hour. I love to paddleboard here. Very peaceful and a great lake to learn on. Nice area to set up and tear down your equipment. Fantastic park, please support it!!

This is a great park. The trails are nicely maintained and easy to walk. There is a small playground with a little field and picnic area. Plus, the library is conveniently placed. Makes for a good afternoon trip to play and explore.

Close to home, always peaceful. Varitiy of things you can do there. I personally like more in the spring before all the lily pads but its still beautiful throughout the summer and fall.
