I have seen other amazing country clubs, but not like this club. Glenmoor is a wonderful place that hosts amazing golf with beautiful rooms and wonderful hospitality. I was fortunate enough to take part in their annual Special Operations Warrior Foundations golf celebrity tournament Rocking with the Seals with amazing Rock Stars and active and retired Navy Seals. A great cause. A great concert and great golf. Always look forward to going back and seeing this beautiful club.

Beautiful venue, really unwelcoming staff specifically the manager. He had altercations with several people for different reasons.If you’re planning on paying $20-40k for a wedding, there are similar locations with a friendlier staff.

Manager threatened to call the cops on an older man for taking his drink out of the bar area while he was waiting for a wedding to start.Manager was awful, but everyone else seemed fine and as soon as he left you could tell the tone of the evening changed.

If you get the chance to play the Golden Bears Glenmoor, you play it. Ive been lucky enough to get a few chances to play. Great layout. Friendly staff.

If I could rate this as a 0/5 stars I would. Our stay here at the Glenmoor was horrible, we stayed for three nights and I have never experienced customer service like I did here. We initially reserved a room for 104 (I was told the club was not busy at all.) we were not given the room we reserved. We also requested that the front gate knew we were arriving which did not happen. (We had to wait at the gate for an extra 5 minutes until security cleared us.) We also requested a microwave to be in our room considering no food was available at the club the days we were staying. We did not get a microwave until our last day staying. Our towels were not switched so we ran out after day 1. Not to mention it takes 5+ minutes for the hot water to turn on and no plugs for the tub. The locks on the door take at least 2 minutes to open. We have a toddler and all of these things made it difficult for us. The front desk was extremely rude and not helpful at all. Hayden gave us the wrong quote for the night and Stacy assured us that we would have our microwave on day 1, she was also extremely rude on the phone. Our credit card was charged $100 more then the receipt she gave us when we checked out. We have tried to resolve what is going on the best way we can. Stacy has hung up the phone on us multiple times, we were assured the manager would call us first thing this morning and we received no phone call. We did not enjoy our stay and we are SHOCKED that this type of customer service is allowed at such a place as this.

Exceptional place to stay!! Rooms were clean. Pool was large, clean and patio well kept. Restaurants had great food and wonderful service. Waitress was wonderful and went out of her way to serve us. Front desk employees were polite and friendly. A truly enjoyable visit and we will definitely return.

Great club with amazing history and offerings. The building is a one of a kind. Spa and hotel open to the public adds nicely to the typical private club amenities

We went for a work function as a thank you from one of our favorite clients. Pasta bar was amazing. Vera, the chef running it was funny and kind and treated us like family. Made for a fun and festive atmosphere. Loved it all!

My sister had her wedding reception here everyone had a great time. The DJ and the 2 Photo Boothd from Digital Djs was aweaome.

Glenmoor is a wonderful place if you are looking for a venue for just about ANYTHING.Furthermore, my wife enjoyed a massage at their spa recently and told me it was one of the best spa experiences shes had in a long time!By the way, you DO NOT need to be a member to enjoy what Glenmoor has to offer!If youre on the fence about it like I was, I recommend calling them to have any questions or concerns answered.No, this is not a paid review, Im simply sharing a wonderful experience.

Attended a wedding there last night. Service was absolutely atrocious and inept. It was like they never catered a wedding before. Staff were too busy on their phones as guests were not served timely, dirty plates were not removed from the tables, and the actual plated dinner wasn’t in front of me until 8:30 (was supposed to be 7). Salads, dressings and rolls could of been pre-placed on tables, but wasn’t. Pitchers of waters could of been placed there too, but the staff gingerly carried 2 plates each which took forever with 300 guests. Do you not have food trays? Literally caught the staff standing around while guests stacked dirty dishes at the tables. Glenmoor should be embarrassed. Their event coordinator should be held accountable because this gave them HORRIBLE exposure. Glenmoor had a strong reputation. Not anymore! If you are looking to do a wedding here? RUN! They can’t handle it! You have been warned. Just because it costs more doesn’t mean it’s a great value. Ask the parents of the bride/groom last night. She literally had to yell and go to kitchen to get the staff moving and food out. What a joke. Glenmoor isn’t a place for a prestigious wedding. After last nights debacle, they should be ashamed.

Nice golf course!

I’m not rating the whole club in general, I’m rating the restaurant. The food is not worth the price and it is not consistent. One day it will be really good, then a week later I order the same thing and it’s terrible. It’s definitely not my first choice of places to eat.

Love playing here. A real challenge with the hickories. The head pro, Meg, is super nice.

Beautiful Bertram Inn, very interesting and unique property. Rooms though dated are very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and made our stay exceptional. Look forward to return and get in a couple of rounds on this awesome golf course.

This is truly a beautiful place. The golf course was in great shape even after several days of rain. The food is top shelf and service is remarkable!

The food was very good and the service was excellent.

Romance of an old movie set but with all the modern comforts. Staff fantastic, grounds beautiful, but they really need to take the menus to a higher level. I found the traditional country club fare and healthy choices to be rather boring. While youre there, ask about the boys boarding school that once owned the property and see if the concierge might tell you the story about the schools annual Rabbit Day.

Worst place I’ve ever worked. Management is overpaid for doing nothing but bandaiding problems, to save the place money. While the hourly employees are treated like dirt and expected to do their job for them. HR is a joke. The lack of any accountability is ridiculous. If you like working real hard for minimum wage and being micromanaged every second, this is the place for you.

Beautiful. I have been here before when the company I worked at hosted golf outings. We set up silent auctions and collected money, hosted the catered dinner. Recently with my aunt, it is very beautiful, nice pool, and rooms. Customer service is wonderful!

Horrible place to stay dont stay at the hotel here its awfully poor loud music playing till midnight and helpless staff to stop it - the financial situation must be terrible to have to rent the pool out right next to guests rooms till midnight. Loud getto music blasting Next to rooms and no ablity of kids running the place to get it turned down and just a rough night for all guests on the pool side maybe the entire building. Dont waste your money here the room had trash on the floor and hair in the sink. We had to ask for housekeeping to clean up the room after we checked in.

If you need any proof that country clubs are going by the wayside, look no further than Glenmoor.It started when my siblings and I arrived for dinner at the Black Heath and were told the restaurant had a no-jeans policy (we were wearing nice jeans with blouses and button-ups). We were all extremely apologetic but by the end of the night had realized the Black Heaths quality and service did not in any way match its formal dining policy.To start, we ordered martinis. I asked for mine with a twist but for some reason it came with a lime instead of lemon twist. My boyfriends martini had large ice cubes in it. Vodka martinis were confused with gin martinis. Some of the drinks had nearly double the amount of liquid in them despite no one ordering a double. May sound picky, but this is all fairly basic, especially if youre dining in a restaurant with a dress code.Menus took awhile to make their way to us but we were enjoying a nice night together and did not mind much. We decided we wanted wine but were told by the waitress that she did not know what they even had available. When it became clear that several bottles we wanted from the menu were not available, the waitress told us that a worker familiar with the current wine list would come speak with us. After 15-20 minutes, we deduced this man was not coming. We were finally able (after about 5 tries) to order 2 bottles of wine. One was delivered promptly, but the waitress did not come to open the bottle until about 10 minutes after she placed it on the table (she was busy checking to see if they even had the other bottle we ordered off the menu).The rest of the night was good and food was fine, but my experience tells me the cost of the meal was absolutely not worth it. We spent almost 4 hours there and I can assure you it wasnt all because we were having a good time with one another. To be clear, we all enjoyed our server, we found her to be both kind and helpful. It was more that it was clear Glenmoor was unable to provide support for its wait staff and unable to provide a quality experience to the one table that chose to dine at Black Heath that night.My takeaway: there are plenty of higher-quality dining options in Canton, please go there. Dont waste time and money on a sub-par dining experience.

This place is amazing! Service is top notch, facilities are fabulous, spa is amazing, vistas are phenomenal. So glad we found it, and looking forward to coming back to our #1 relaxation destination.

Golfing today what a beautiful course

Went the for a wedding reception and had a blast. Apparently its an old monestary and it looks the part. Its pretty fancy with valet parking and even a coat check...so if you are planning on renting it out Im sure you could expect to dig deep on the ol wallet. But worth it imo

For a wedding, place was very very nice.

It’s a great place for weddings, proms, parties but I work there and some members here are stuck up and think it’s all that but in reality it needs help. The golf is literally the only thing saving the place. And the workers are terrible in some departments

Kinda creepy retired monastery. Dark and cold atmosphere. A bit hoity toity for my tastes. Hard to find service personnel and get directions. Pretentious. Not my cup of tea.

Horrible place. Visited the club for a wedding reception. the room was hot and muggy and did not even have enough space! My family and I wound up in a small room outside of the main area where the reception was. Food was OK but the service was just as slow as the Wi-Fi. Also stay away from the bread, it was hard as a rock! Cell phone service is totally non-existent in the club--beware in case of emergency! There were also no signs throughout the club to point out various areas and my family and several others got lost on the way to the hall for the reception and I was unable to find the restroom with no sign. I also could not enjoy a meal fully because the space had open windows with no screen and the place attracted flies. If you are planning a wedding reception or other event, avoid this place.

It was horrible!!! We where there for a wedding reception (6/14/15) and the room was HOT and MUGGY!!! It was as if they had no A/C on. NOT A PLACE I WOULD HAVE ANOTHER EVENT!!!
