Visited for lunch and really enjoyed it. The wait staff and the bar tender offered various suggestions to make our experience more enjoyable. The lunch menu is small yet offers something for every palate.

We will be back and would highly recommend this resort to others. The place is absolutely beautiful, quiet, clean and safe, and staff was accommodating. We were a little worried about it being brand new and not yet completed but it did not impact our stay at all. The location was convenient to wineries and restaurants, parks, etc. Looking forward to staying again once it’s done and the spa and restaurant are open!

Stayed here for our baby moon over Labor Day Weekend. The property is nice and the view of the lake is great but there is much room for improvement. Our room was not attended to multiple days of our stay. The first day, we had to request the room be cleaned and the staff did not refill the coffee, take out the garbage or do anything except give us new towels and fix the bed. The second day of our stay, we came back to the hotel at 3 pm and our room had not been cleaned. We then informed the front desk that we were going to the pool and that our room be cleaned and the front desk attendant assured us it would get done. Once we returned to our room around 6 pm, our room had still not been cleaned. We called down again and someone did eventually come up and we were told that such complaints were normal - which is absurd. Guests shouldn’t have to remind hotel staff to clean the room multiple times. Additionally, we asked for a late checkout (12 pm instead of 11 am) and the front desk could not accommodate that on a Wednesday. The room was nice, but the walls are thin. Not to be picky, but the hair dryer and the clothes iron could be better. The Sand Bar also leaves much to be desired.

I highly recommend the new Lake House. They have done a great job making the property into a beautiful place to stay on the lake. During a recent stay we had the opportunity to eat at the Sand Bar and we brought our pontoon boat for boating on the lake. The staff was extremely helpful with helping us choose the right room for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. When we arrived home I realized that I had lost an expensive piece of jewelry. I immediately called the hotel and Heather was sympathetic and assured me that she would do everything she could to help me. I received a call the next morning from William with the good news that my item had been found. Kudos to the whole staff that showed personal concern and did all they could to help. Thank you to The Lake House on Canandaigua!

The new Lakehouse on Canandaigua is nothing short of amazing. We stayed on a Thursday in November, and were greeted with glasses of Prosecco on arrival. The staff was pleasant and very attentive. Within minutes we were in our beautiful lakefront suite, and the luggage arrived moments later. The view (even in the dark) was spectacular. The room was super clean and inviting, and the amenities top notch. (They even had a gift of 2 black face masks and hand sanitizers. Everyone on staff was also practicing safe measures around the pandemic.) We had a reservation to dine next door at Nolans, and it was so nice out when we returned we decided to enjoy one of the lakefront gas firepits. A charming staff member named Josh met us at the fire with 2 Pendleton wool blankets to keep us warmer on a November night. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and we enjoyed a great room service breakfast from the restaurant on the beautiful balcony. We highly recommend the Lake House. The great staff, and the comfortable and beautiful accommodations made for a fantastic stay.

High end hotel on the lake. Decor minimalist. Mostly white, almost too austere. Clearly an upscale environment. Big upgrade from inn on the lake

Stayed the night here on opening day. The service was incredible and all staff were extremely accommodating. We stretched out our dinner reservation from 4 to 7 people on a Saturday night and they made adjustments to get us seated in their formal dining area (not yet opened to the public). Food was excellent. Drinks were delicious. Rooms are beautiful. Served us breakfast on the pool deck in the morning.Canandaigua lake being the center of the Finger Lakes, allows access to all surrounding lakes and attractions. Highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to the FLX area!!

We went opening weekend and there were a lot of hiccups. Does not have a high-quality resort/hotel feel. We paid extra for a room with a view of the lake. They hadnt finished construction yet so the view was terrible and we felt ripped off. There were a lot of little things that were not a big deal but just made it look rushed. For example there were no pens in the room so we couldnt fill out the room service menu. The art was hung poorly like they forgot and tossed it on the wall quickly before guests checked in. There were already cobwebs in the room (opening weekend!) They put lamps next to the bed on both sides, but on one side there was no outlet so the plug just hung down. This also meant there was no place to charge your phone. It was just poorly planned. The staff all seemed confused. Every question we had nobody knew the answer and they constantly had to call someone else. So everything took a long time. Again, not a big deal, but if you are looking for a high-quality resort/hotel this isnt it...yet. They charge you those prices but the quality isnt there. We may be trying again. I think there is potential but as it stands it most certainly isnt worth the price.

I finally dipped my feet into exploring the LH property and its presentation. It did not disappoint at almost every level. Firstly, your entrance to property and greeting to check in is crisp, attentive and welcoming. Check in desk team is warm and clearly trained to make you feel priority status. Welcome amenity and/or sparkling wine refreshments add to your experience. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed, with minimal clutter, raised ceilings, great natural and soft ambient lighting, spacious and privacy designed bathroom areas and spa products for all your needs. With years of experience, if you relate, the room, lobby and lakefront presentation gave me a Delano(I.S. design) clean air look and feel.Sand Bar restaurant and cocktail facility on the waterfront spectacularly delivers for ambience and waterfront views. You cannot enjoy this experience with a tight or timid wallet...with that said, my only challenge to ownership is to evaluate your current menu choices/options for next year and better reflect the high quality of your resort.Take the ride folks...they are also completely covid conscious.

The hotel is lovely and right on the lake but has a lot of kinks to work out. The biggest issue we had seemed to be around communication: We were told there was housekeeping but we had none during our stay. There was miscommunication regarding reservations for multiple meals. There was miscommunication on how to order room service for breakfast. There was confusion with staff with regards to activities we had signed up for. And at times no one answered the phone at the front desk. My biggest issue is the fact that I left a jacket behind in the room and called the next day and was told to talk to the head of housekeeping. I had to leave a voicemail which I did (x2) and never heard back. Also emailed the general manager with no reply. For the price point of the hotel, much improvement is needed. One other issue is that already (after being open less than a month) the light colored benches and chairs in the room are stained. Stains in rooms do not say luxury resort. Maybe this has to do with housekeeping issues?Hoping they get the kinks worked out because it really has potential.

Absolutely wonderful, inviting and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It’s a blend of a Soho house meets Restoration hardware that you’ll want to experience.
