We have stayed here on multiple occasions now. Every time has been perfect! The hosts are absolutely wonderful and the breakfasts are amazingly delicious! The hosts are very accommodating and are eager to point you in the right direction if you have questions regarding the local area. We have never had a bad experience. Its very clean and beautifully decorated. It is a peaceful retreat and meets all of your needs.

Wow! What an amazing B&B experience! The home is immaculate and tastefully decorated. We stayed at the Clement and it was comfortable and clean. Had all the amenities like toiletries. Even an air purifier!The breakfasts were out of this world!!!Innkeeper was so sweet and hospitable.We were close to the mall, wineries, and plenty of restaurants.We will absolutely be staying again.

I enjoyed my stay immensely. Perfect blend of luxury accomodations with an at-home, comfortable feel. Many small details made for no needs unmet. Water cooler, refrigerator with soda, tea and coffee available right outside my room. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented by the friendly and eager to accommodate host. Looking forward to staying again.

The 1840 Inn on Main was just amazing. Jaynee and Gus were so sweet and made you feel very comfortable despite the pandemic with their thoroughness when it came to our safety.The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a B & B and the room and inn itself was immaculate. Everything that you needed was provided with the utmost sanitary and safe conditions. Thank you for being the bright light in these tumultuous times.

I loved this B&B. Jaynee and Guy have thought of everything. We had the Burrell Suite, which has a whirlpool tub, fireplace, sitting area and bathroom with a tub/shower. Personally, I loved the woodwork, not only in the room but the common areas, too. Looking forward to going again!

What an amazing place! This was our first ever B and B but will not be our last. Jaynee and Guy are just the best! Their Inn is just gorgeous and everything about it is just wonderful! Even during this pandemic, our stay was just beautiful! We will be back!!!

Jaynee and Guys inn is so warm and comfortable. We had every amenity we could think of! We felt like family when Guy came to greet us after each breakfast and Jaynee was so sweet in accomodating my dietary needs at breakfast. We cant wait to stay here again!

Great place just a short drive from the Lake. We were welcomed with a nice tour of the place (after check-in hours - they are very accommodating). The room was very nice - clean with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not recommend this place enough!

What a wonderful stay. This Bed and Breakfast was very nice, extremely clean, and well priced for the amenities offered. The host, Jaynee, was excellent with warm service, and an in depth knowledge of the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent as well. The room was very well maintained as well with comfortable furniture and a fully functional whirlpool tub. Our two night stay was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at the In. On the Main! Guy and Jaynee make you feel at home in their beautiful B&B. We are frequent fliers and feel like family. We stayed overnight in the Gilford room. It was very well appointed and comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating and attentive. The house is quiet and great place to relax. We will be back!

Great B&B. Our visit was very short but we really loved the feel of the house, the very firm bed, the access to early morning coffee and the friendliness of the hosts. You can tell that these hosts really know what they are doing because all of the details have been thought of.We will definitely be back in the summer when we can walk down to the restaurants and the pier.

1840 Inn On the Main B&B was extremely clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The food and accommodations were exceptional, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed in the Gifford room to celebrate our anniversary. Jaynee and Guy are truly great hosts and their Inn is gorgeous. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Jaynees cookies and lemon bars that were out for snacking were delicious and the breakfast was amazingly good. You will not regret staying here if you are looking for a nice B&B in the area. We definitely will be going back again.

I sent my mom and her best friend for a mini getaway as a Christmas gift. They LOVED it. They said the hosts were wonderful and easy to talk to. The hosts left out cookies and had a kitchen nook with sodas, water and coffee to help yourself to. My mom said she felt like she was in a Hallmark Christmas movie with the pretty decorations and cozy decor. For breakfast they accommodated my moms vegan diet when I e-mailed beforehand. Im pleased they enjoyed it so much and thank the hosts for making them feel so welcome.

Great hosts. Lovely rooms. Delicious breakfasts. Wonderful starting location to explore the area around Canandaigua with lots of stuff to do and see. There are pretty lakes with lots of water sports, cool little, quaint towns, a lot of fun restaurants, good Finger Lakes wines and microbrews.

My friend and I were greeted at the door by two most charming hosts. The inn itself is a most wonderful combination of elegance and warmth. The decor, the ambience said welcome home and stay a while. Our most gracious hosts greeted us with morning smiles and a most delicious breakfast. Fresh fruit, juice and coffee started our meal. Egg strata and sausage for my friend and oatmeal with toppings for me. (They even catered to my vegan diet.) We cannot wait to return. Our night away was even beyond our expectations at the inn. My husband and I stayed at Inn on the Main in the Pennfield Suite this weekend. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was so big! We enjoyed sitting next to the fireplace at night. The breakfast both mornings was delicious and filling. There was coffee and several juices available to drink with breakfast. The owners were so friendly and made everything feel very personal. There are several snacks and drinks available to guests throughout the day. We didnt want to leave Sunday morning! We would definitely stay at Inn on the Main again and again!

We stayed in the Gifford room during our weekend getaway in the Fingerlakes. Jaynee and Guy were very welcoming and attentive. The room and inn were extremely clean. The decor of the inn was reflective of the 19th century, which made it feel like an old fashioned B&B with modern comforts. We enjoyed the daytime snacks (especially the lemon bars) and the homemade breakfast! The inn is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk to downtown and 30-40 minute walk to the lakefront. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Canandaigua area!

Very nice location. Guy is a friendly owner. Helped us find things to do in the area. Breakfast was awesome. We had croissant with goat cheese, quiche, bacon, and hash browns. Very clean. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We went on wine tours which were cool, but most of them closed by 5pm. Would definitely recommend this b&b and this area.

The place is beautiful and I enjoyed spending some much needed R&R with my boyfriend in the Gifford room. The owners where very friendly and pleasant. We appreciated the deal with the dining certificate at Rheinblick. I would love to visit again!

As always, our stay at Inn on the Main was superb . Each room is delightful , but our favorite is the green room . We always enjoy sitting on the veranda. 1840 Inn on the Main is one of our favorite bed and breakfasts. The inn keepers make you feel very welcome and at home right away. The inn has a luxurious yet comfortable feel. The rooms are well appointed. The gourmet breakfasts are cooked by the inn keepers and are fantastic.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing night away from home in our hometown. Jaynee and Guy were gracious and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the food delicious. We will be returning and recommending this Inn to out of town guests. Thank you.

Everything was just extraordinary!!

There was some confusion about how many guests were staying resulting in additional fees literally hours before check-in. However, the confusion was due to the website through which the reservation was made not passing the information to the owners. They waived the fee and stated the website should be held accountable since it was their error.Overall it was a wonderful stay. The place was beautiful and the food was great. We had the room with the jacuzzi but unfortunately did not get to use it, though it was larger than most and looked comfortable. The sound during the night was minimal and we could not hear the cars going by unless we listened for them. We also did not hear noises from the couple in the next room unless they were showering at which point we could hear the water running, but no more than any other house.

Staff and owners were very welcoming and warm. The inn is beautiful and quite comfortable, food was top notch.

They were so nice and accommodating. The place was cute.

Our 4th visit to the Inn on the Main - we are already planning and looking forward to our 5th visit! Jaynee & Guy the owners, treat us just like family every time we visit. I know that wed be treated the same whether it was our first visit or our 99th - they are just so welcoming. The Inn was in fantastic shape, clean, comfortable and extremely well appointed. They have done a great job of maintaining consistency in the outstanding quality provided to guests. We just love the Jacuzzi room with the King bed on the top floor. Every thing in the room was perfect once again. We had a delicious gourmet breakfast on Sunday morning - unique, tasty and filling! We always recommend the Inn on the Main to our friends and family. One of our absolutely all time favorite B&Bs anywhere. Thank you Jaynee & Guy for another wonderful stay!
