Beautiful little marina on the southern end of the lake.

If you wish to look into renting a condo there, once at #VRBO , search for Bristol Harbor Cliffside Condos, Canandaigua, N.Y. 1442. Each rental unit is owned by someone different,many floor plans are unique! We used to live in these condos in the 90s,and now that my husbands retirement looms,we KNOW this is where we want to spend the next chapters. The condos have MAGESTIC ,always changing views of both Canandaigua Lake,Bare Mt.,across the lake (condos are on East Lake side).Their very unusual placement INTO THE CLIFF ITSELF is the reason Ive NEVER met a person who looked out the endless windows ,or FROM the patios, who drew in their breath and whisperedThis is most PERFECTION,HEAVEN,1 OF A KIND... breathtaking (choose your adj.)When the indigenous people of the Glacier Created Finger Lakes of Upstate-ish N.Y., named Canandaigua/and her lake*The Chosen Place* they knew exactly how perfect the name WAS. The little town is quaint and has WONDERFUL shopping,exquisite artists & art for sale. Youll find locally blown glass , even a place to learn how ,and return home with glass art blown BY ~YOU! There are restaurants of every type,one every dozen steps!(EVEN a remarkably authentic German one!)At the base of the lake,or end of town,depending on where youve been just before ,is the*N.Y. Culinary Institute* which offers heavenly meals made THERE,classes to refine your skils, or FIND THEM,in my case! There are classes on seasonal snacks,pairings~~DONT MISS THIS DELIGHT.*continued
