This was a unique experience! It was impressive to see bears, mountain lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras and African lions so up-close. Some of the animals were ones you rarely see other places. The Tiger-splash was entertaining because the tigers arent trained and they act just as a wild tiger familiar with humans for years would. It was unpredictable.

Very glad we planned a stop here. We have been to numerous smaller zoos, rescues and wildlife habitats in the U.S. and this place ranks with the best. Animals looked really healthy and well cared for. Extremely large enclosures and diverse terrain. We took a tour on their Super Mog (a covered UniMog truck with bench seats in the back. Great views since you were seated several feet off the ground. Brittany guided our tour and you could tell she loved her job. All the animal keepers were very informative.

Took the 5 yr old grandson on an education trip with my wife and I. Staff is very courteous, humorous and very customer friendly. Grandson loved all of it mostly because of how close you can get to all the wildlife. Very affordable and very gratifying experience. Great way to spend a Sunday with the family. Get there early for Tiger Splash, worth every penny.

We had a really good time here! The bus tour through the habit at the beginning is really fun! The tiger splash show was cool too. We got a mini tiger philosophy lesson while they were playing with tiger during the show. It was really refreshing to hear that they arent training their tigers (or any of their other animals) like circus animals for performances. They dont force them to do shows they dont want to do. Its all based on the animals decision to trade toys for food and vice versa. All of the animal shows they had were on the educational side. It seems like the staff here has a passion for what they are doing. Overall a good vibe throughout the park!

Sooo good. Walk or tram or safari ride through the park. Definitely go during feeding time. Various shows and presentations. Snack bar food is actually great and the staff is very welcoming. Went with young adult-aged teenagers and they were pleased. Lots of small kids around and they were enamored. Worth the entry fee. I have never been so close to lions and tigers in my life and Ive been on a South African safari.

Great Zoo! We went on a Safari tour with Keith as our tour guide, and it was amazing! They don’t have the widest variety of animals, but they take fantastic care of the ones they have. Plus, they have exhibitions throughout the day where you can pet the animals and watch them do tricks and such. You could definitely spend a full day or two here. They are a private zoo, so they don’t receive government subsidies. I wish their gift shop were a bit larger or had more variety, but we didn’t go for the shopping. This is probably my favorite zoo in Arizona, for the individual touch and the direct contact you have with the zookeepers like Keith. Everyone we met was very friendly and seemed happy to be there.

A MUST SEE!!!! Ive been to other sanctuaries and dozens of zoos across the US and Central America, but have never had a better experience than here. The animals are clearly happy and active all day long. I am sick of going to a zoo to see poor jailed animals that have become lazy just waiting in their cage to die. Here they have tons of room to roam and call their own territory. The coats on all of the animals were shiny and healthy. The animals I saw fed were given real meat and not processed meats. The Super Bog was money well spent with excellent guides. We went there thinking we would only be there an hour or two. We spent 5 hours and still didnt do everything we wanted to do and see.

First visit to out of africa wild Park and slightly disappointed! Bus rides were nice, drivers were informational and funny. We were all super disappointed and concerned about the care taken during this pandemic. We were shocked to see employees taking our food orders and making our food, did not wear masks. Social distancing was none existent nor was wearing a mask properly enforced. The area for the reptiles seemed poorly taken care of but being able to walk around the huge area was nice. All the large animal exhibits and how close you can get was super amazing. Willing to go again but better procedures and care needs to be put in place.

Surprisingly really big park with a lot of cool animals to check out. Unfortunately did not have very many places to sit with shade which is okay. Just make sure to have plenty of water available and other things to help you keep cool. Even when it was 89 out when we visited, it got really hot walking in direct sunlight if you go when they open. I would highly recommend doing the SuperMog Adventure tour since they take you to each of the big animals and tell their story and a little bit about their species. We didnt feel like we missed anything after taking the tour. Also everyone was so kind and really do care about the well-being of the animals which is a huge plus.

Going in the middle of August was probably not the best idea. The staff was very friendly and eager to educate visitors. But with the heat it was hard to see most animals which is understandable. But what we were able to see was pretty awesome. Driving through a zoo is a neat concept. Just remember the drive thru exhibits are still animals separated by fences from the vehicle. I thought that animals were able to free roam like other drive thru parks

I just read all the neg comments and I disagree with most. Those who gave a neg review because they do like animals in a zoo like environment had those opinions prior to visiting the park, so you should not have gone in the first place. I can only comment on my specific experience. My wife has MS and does not walk well. So we signed up for the private tour which cost around $180.00 per person. I was fine with that price for what we received. The weather was windy, very cold, but not raining. There was only one other family on the tour with two children. They lasted half way then asked to quit the tour as the kids were miserable. That left me and my wife and the young lady giving the tour was extremely nice, accommodating, and conducted the tour as if she had a full load. She even made a special stop just to get us blankets to help with the cold winds. We found our experience to be amazing. So comments about rude staff does not define the whole park. I was planning a family revisit however, i am very concerned about not enforcing covid policies of wearing masks and spacing. For that reason alone we have to make other plans, but if not for covid enforcement we would definitely be visiting the park again.

I like how I got a discount on admission because of my birthday which can be reedem during my birth month not just on the actual day. I didnt like that the zipline had no availability even though throughout my whole stay which was from open until 3PM there was multiple opportunities to book a spot for my party of 6. The food was good. My party had the corn dog, pizza, and the ham and cheese sub but they ran out of pizza by 1PM. Over all, I had a good experience for my first time but I personally saw a lot that could be improved to want to go back an experience it again.

The nearly 2 hour drive from Peoria is completely worth it! I love that they educate you about each of the animals and make it fun at the same time. We visited Out of Africa on July 13th, it was 96 degrees, but cooler than Phoenix that day which was 115 degrees. Im 48 and have some health issues, but normally get around zoos and such fairly easily. This park isnt great for walking, all the paths are sand and/or mud pack, and would be a horrible choice for those with strollers, wheelchairs, or canes. They do have a vehicle that takes people to 4 different parts of the park, which helps, but it definitely isnt a good part to walk in entirety. Also, not much shade throughout the park. The employees seem to be very happy and care about the animals, at least thats how it came across to us. The animals were neat to see, and appear to be very well cared for: for instance, all the water bins (which appeared plentiful) were visibly clean and sanitary. Animals seem to be well fed. All in all, Im sure we will be back eventually with grandchildren, but we didnt feel like it was something we needed to do again any time soon.

Its an awesome park with fun things to do and amazing animals to see. Its a bit on the expensive side, but this is explained at the park; they receive no outside funding.
