It was not kept up and very wet. Loved being our in nature though.

Blackwater National Refuge

This is part of Blackwater NWR and is located on Wildlife Drive. Im not sure why Google has separated it.

Beautiful, tranquil spot, great for osprey and other bird-spotting at certain times of year

Blackwater is one of my favorite NWRs.

Pleasant walk of 1/3 mile on good trail through woodland and along marshland. Pick up the brochure with the interpretive information before you start. Covered picnic area and outhouse available.

Nice wooded area for hiking.
