Spacious. 2 kids parks. 2 dog parks side by side. Lots of walking paths. Lots of green well kept up grass fields to picnic or hang on. Lots of benches and tables scattered throughout. Lots of different families at park. Great environment!

Good park, but due to covid 19 no restrooms is open.

LOVE this park. such a beautiful wide open space on a bit hill. they have PICNIC tables. there’s a walking path all the way around the park, probably takes 20 minutes to do an entire lap. there’s a nice playground too and a bunch of baseball fields, and a track.

Great outdoor space, plenty of parking and green space. Awesome track. Playground was flooded but all the other spaces seemed to have good drainage

I was there Opening Day for Danehy Park & it’s been a Green Oasis in the middle of a city. Multiple soccer, softball, baseball, football & even a turf football field at the top of the park. Playground (with small water park in the summer), dog park, walking/jogging paths, work out station & plenty of benches to watch the variety of games and/or people watch! Well maintained.

Great place for kids sporting events or just a nice walk. Danehy park is my favorite part in Cambridge to be honest! Also, the guys who work there are so kind, helpful and always hardworking!

Multiple tracks and fields with different set ups, baseball and soccer mainly. Great walking paths throughout the park that overlook some willow trees a few areas with built in seating, plenty of space for a beautiful picnic. Awesome dog park with separate smaller dog areas as well. Could really use a bathroom or a port-a-potty at the very least. Ample amount of public parking!

The park is filled with multiple grounds set for different games and occasions. It has a decent size parking lot, a running track, Soccer field and a park for kids. This place really lights up in summer with lots of people and fun activities. It would really recommend it to family who want to spend some time and enjoy some outdoor games

Danehy Park gives you the space and tranquility in your neighborhood. Also, it is good place for running and jogging especially if it rainy as you can run around the paved soccer field. Many sports events organized in the multiple fields in the park. The circle is about 2.5 miles. In the fall, Danehy Park turn to colorfull portrait. Also, Danehy provides grills and benches for picnic.

# these pics belong to the Danehy Park festival:i cannot believe everything was free. This was top of the line Carnival / Festival / Fair even in regards to if you had to pay. The feelings you got when you walk through and so the Patriotic fireman engines and with the crane with the American flag just made you feel so proud to be part of America but Cambridge. They had so many rides,face painting, huge kite flying area ,amazing and friendly Mexican singers. Way too much to mention and that I didnt get there earlier and I didnt know about this previous years. Thank you so much for those responsible for making this happen for us to enjoy connecting and enjoying such an amazing experience without profiting. Its amazing to me and Im very grateful to be born and raised in North Cambridge

Hills and hills filled with playgrounds, sunny athletic fields for all kinds of sports activities and various areas perfect for outings on a beautiful day. No shortage of picnic benches here! Also spacious enough to feel peaceful even with a lot of people there.

In these times where distancing is important and the need to exercise is too plenty of room to get a workout in walk run sprint brought my bands and home equipment got it in and was able to do it fast and not on top of anyone #washyourhands and wear a mask and youre good

This is an amazing green oasis in the city. There are basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, a track, a playground for kids and a dog park. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Attended the Cambridge Jazz Festival here. Beautiful grounds for a relaxing weekend and and great play area for kids.

A very large park with a lot to offer for all kinds of visitors. Turf and grass fields. Separate bike and walking paths throughout. Playgrounds for younger kids. Baseball, soccer, and general purpose fields abound. Plus, the whole facility is well maintained.

Went to the Jazz Festival here. Listened to some great music!Plus, the park is a great place to walk with my ! Spacious park with an enclosed area for dogs to play together.

Nice, hug, organized, and place for everyone to do their own sport and or picnic or party activities. Recent event we attended was the Denehy Family Park activity sponsored by Cambridge City and some of Public Schools. It was great family fun especially for kids of 3 to 8 years old.

Teeming with dogs... Which might be great, or it might be tough if you have a reactive dog.

Its very nice place to enjoy. Its very neat and clean, big enough for walking, running. More than three big playground, and so and so.

I love playing soccer here, beautiful fields. It has a dog park. There could be more parking, that is why I rate it 4 out of 5. Also the parking lot was very dirty when I was there last week. I wish there was more signage showing field numbers.

Perfect place to bring your 4-legged friends. Lots of open spaces to run and a off leach area.

Great Park!

Danehy is a great place for a walk, exercise, sports, etc. Public events happen their every once in a while also, so its fun to stop by at those. The fields are well maintained, and the bathrooms are too last time I was there. Its also huge, so if you want to go to the park, this is the one.

I went here for the first time for the Cambridge Jazz festival, and I was very impressed. It is an enormous park with a lot of different features -- play structures, ball fields, walking trails and more.

Great playground, grassy hills, and flat area, pretty, and it has free parking lot, bathrooms, and drinking fountain!

Good place to exercise

Huge, clean park with fenced dog park, several soccer and baseball/softball fields, picnic areas and playgrounds. Our dogs love to go to the dog park then take a stroll around the rest of the park.

Nicely maintained park. You will have a nice and relaxing walk here. Feel free to bring a football -- so much room to play! You can even play soccer and use their goals that they have set up at this park.

Some visionaries looked at a waste treatment facility and imagined this sublime public space. Spray park, playground, grassy areas, soccer fields, marsh, sledding hill, picnic benches and BBQ (need to book in advance), trees, bike path.

Great park in Cambridge. something for everyone

Beautiful massive park with play structures, sprinklers (usually between June and Labor Day), doggie park and soccer fields. Great for sledding, as theres a hill that leads into marshy grasses at the end instead of a street or something. Check out the annual Danehy Family Fun Day held every September- free entertainment for kids with music, bouncy houses, carnival rides, free kites and lots more!

One of my favorite fields! Kind of secluded from other areas, but all the fields are quality and well lit at night. The dog park is a plus as well!

Fantastic place to watch or play field sports. Bring a cooler of water and soft drinks. Theres porta potties and plenty of recycling bins. Enjoy your day with friends and family.

Beautiful park, they pulled out all the stops for the weather when I went. Had a fantastic picnic.

We are so lucky to have such a huge, well kept, multipurpose park in the middle of our neighborhoods. So many beautiful soccer and baseball fields, a track, a large dog run and lots of picnic spots. And sledding in the winter! (But watch out for the marsh!) Its always lively but rarely over crowded, and the community makes the best of it with many events.

Wonderfully landscaped urban park. Great soccer and baseball fields. Very nice restored wetlands. Dog park is a major disappointment.

To many soft kids , parents have all kids whining about ,sad.

Playground, playing fields and promenades. A serviceable public space built on top of the old city dump. An artificial hill is the best spot for sledding in Cambridge.
