This place is amazing.I traveled from OC to LA and this place just made my day.you should visit it for sure.

Did this hike up from Stunt Rd and hiked the ridge trail to the lookout. Exited and hiked down Stunt to Coldwater reserve, which is a locked gate now. The fence is broken and entered on the left. Coldwater reserve trail is in bad shape and very overgrown we found remnants of the old mountain restoration project. The entire trip was 4.6 hours car to car

Just looking for a young man that was lost . I love this place. We from Topanga call it the top of the world.

There are two trails (one to the left of the [street]parking towrd ocean and one the right side). We chose the left one. we were exposed to sun for the most of the time. If you are going for a hike in a hot summer day be sure you have enough water with you. There is a rock looks like an animal. I love it.

Lovely, peaceful walk through the wilderness along a stream. Its the best way to spend a few hours.

The reviews for this location are posted incorrectly. This is not a State Park, nor is it open to the public. .... The area down the road is!This location is a research station - no public hiking.Check out the Cold Creek VALLEY Preserve down the road - thats where the trails are.

Short trail, shade half the way, pretty flat, nice walk

The area is amazing. Definitely encourage those wanting to have a great hike and a nice view to visit this location early. Once the sun comes out of gets pretty hot. Bring water!!

This is a wonderful place for hiking! Painted lady butterflies were everywhere and the views are great.

It was a nice walk and lots of shade in areas if you need it.

Great place to start off for several hikes/trails. Nice spring-fed creek in the bowl, good port-a-potty, and not too busy. Parking can be difficult, but otherwise, a great spot.

Great place to hike when its cold. Rattle snakes when its warmer.

I had a great time with my family here, but we were mislead about the wild flowers being everywhere. There really werent a lot when we went.
