I used to do hockey here and I have loved this place for a long time. It is a really nice place and I believe if you go ever go there you will also enjoy.

Great place for young children. My daughter attended a birthday party there today and had a blast. She is 6. The staff is great, the place is clean. Will go back :)

Love this place! As the only rink in Skagit county, I am so thankful for what they offer! You always stay dry, get some good exercise and they play great music and offer fun themes/programs for all ages. They could have better food but we just dont plan to eat when we go!

I didnt know skating was so fun! And such a workout. This place had some good ambiance with the lights, and a good variety of challenges with special games or races. The staff are friendly and really impressive on skates! They mostly only played top 40 stuff but eh, what can you expect?

This place is fun to go if you have kids or are just into roller-skating or in-line skating. They offer rentals at what I would consider to be reasonable rates and sometimes offer lighting on the skating rink. They also offer various hot food options and beverages, although the price is a little high on these, but nothing too outrageous for this type of establishment. They also have a handful of arcade games for when you need to take a break from skating. Overall, this is a fun place for kids when in Skagit County.

The new years eve party was so fun

Enjoyable skating session, good mix of music (some from 80s and 90s, as it was 20th anniversary for the rink), and the owners repaired my skates. Had races for the kids.

Ive been here multiple times, and every time with different crowds. Whether its a birthday party for a kid, going out with friends your own age, by yourself, or with your parents, it will always be tons of fun! Rental skates are available and not expensive, and the employees are very helpful. I will definitely go again!

5 STARS ALL THE TIME!!!!! Skagit Skate Has been a GREAT Place for Many Years. I went there almost every weekend as a kid, I now have 2 kids (8 & 10) they love going there. Its Safe, Reasonably priced, & Fun....... You dont find much of that all in one place nowadays. I do & will encourage my kids to go at any age. Great place for the kids to go on Friday and Saturday night. Good music and crowd, decent prices. Lots of games and they keep the kids involved. They also have an adult skate on Wednesday nights. Only thing I didnt care for was the fact that the kids could get energy drinks out of the vending machines.

Ive only been there once kind of hard to give it a five-star, however here you go. :)

Great local skate rink; adult nite on Wednesday has decent mix of oldies, newer and various genres. Rink is in good shape and personnel are friendly. Not crowded either!

We had a really fun time skating with our kids. During the family skate time the songs that were played seemed appropriate, although I was there with a large group of kids from a Christian school which may have influenced the song selection. There is a fun selection of games also, including Guitar Hero, pop-a-shot, Area 51, racing arcade games, air hockey, and a couple of arcade cabinets that each have a selection of retro arcade games. The flashing lights and disco ball during skating were a nice touch.

Skagit Skate is awesome!! The best place for a kids birthday party. We just had our son’s birthday party here today and everything was perfect. Their staff is so friendly and very helpful. The kept coming back and checking on us the whole entire time. They made the whole process of booking the party so easy. Our kids had so much fun and so did the adults. We had 19 kids and 12 adults skating. They had great music too!! So much fun. I would definetly come back again and have another party too! I would highly recommend Skagit Skate for a birthday party!

Well maintained wood boards skate rink. They have all the classic fun skate games, plus modern black lights and decor. Nicely appointed snack bar that is not over priced. Took advantage of the Saturday morning beginner class for my kids and it went very well. They got extra time on the boards after class to practice. So 2 hours of skating, including the lesson and the skates, for $10/kid and Mom got free skates!

Great place to skate as a family or have a party. People are nice and helpful. They have a good selection of foods in their snack bar area. They also have an arcade and play good music.

Been going here since the day they opened. Really fun for my kids now. The pizza isnt much to be proud of but most kids will eat anything. Staff is friendly and theres always owner/management on site.

Granddaughters birthday party was held there, great atmosphere, clean all through. Very much enjoyed the experience even though I didnt skat, but I did reminisced to my teen days. Lol

Only been here 1 time but plan to go back since it was a great experience for my whole family.We attended the tiny tot session on a Saturday morning 10:30 to 12. It was busy but not so packed that it would be difficult to skate around with my kids. My 3 year old had an absolute blast.Value was AWESOME. $5.50 for each child, included skate rentals and a snack (which was lemonade and a fruit snack pouch). No charge for the parents to go inside with their kids and even included rental skates for my husband which was unexpected but honestly, it felt great to not feel nickel and dimed by a business whose service is geared for the youngsters. There are so many times Im forced to pay for a service that has no interest to me and I appreciate that this rink gets it. The music was great for kids. Lots of room for the littles to play when they werent on the skate floor too. If I had to criticize anything it would be to say the blond girl working the skate counter wasnt efficient at all and she picked and chose who she would help instead of just helping the next in line which made it pretty slow to get the skates.

Great place to take the kids for some fun. The place is starting to show its age a little, but I imagine a business like this is relatively low overhead, so I doubt they can afford to remodel constantly.It would be nice if they could add in something like a comfortable relaxing seating area for parents to chill while the kids skate. Reading a book on the rickety tables gets a bit cumbersome.

I highly recommend this place not just for family time but as a sport. My granddaughter has been on the speed team for 4 years and in that time has not only grown in muscle ,agility, ,agility respect for her team mates. Overall she has fun while learning how to be a better person by working on her body mind and spirt. Thank you to the staff and coaches John and Teri fir making her a better person.

I celebrate my daughters birthday here, is very cheap, and fun for everyone, I was very impressed for how well organized it was, we had a server and he give us everything we need it while we were celebrating, I also come here to skate with my girl very often, I can say that this is one of the best skating place in this area, shoes are decently new, pizza is good, they play music and they do little activities,and prices are cheap , I highly recommend this place

Keeping my original review for transparency; however the owner? Was very nice and righted the situation. The rink is cute and clean. They also do more games than the Lynden Skateway which I think is cool.Came in to buy skates a little over a month ago; I had sized myself at a 6. The lady working insisted that because I wear 8 street shoes to get size 8 skates even though I felt the smaller size fit better. She claimed to know better and so I went with her advice. The skates are two sizes two big (like I thought) and cant return them because they scuffed the first time I wore them.

Skagit skate is a fun local skate and arcade destination. They have hosted two of our daughters birthday parties and we purchased in-line skates for her.The staff is friendly and knowledgable and our experiences have always been positive. They have options for standard skating along with speed and in-line rentals. They also offer assistive stroller rentsls for those who are uneasy on their skates. The concessions offers a number of fair-style foods and goodies and they both sell and service skates. They play a mix of well known and popular dance-style music combined with event-specific music for activities like the limbo and the hokie pokey.Their service was exemplified at our daughters last birthday. It was on 12/20/2018 when Burlington (and much of the rest of the Valley) lost power. We had a couple dozen friends and family slated to arrive and started scrambling. They, however, said they would still open and brought over their RV generator to get us black lights and music! The party went from a bust to a great event and they were super accommodating given the limitations.Its hard to get attendees to a party so close to Christmas but their ability to open got us the best turnout ever for a birthday and an event that our daughter still talks about 2 months later.

Our family greatly appreciates Skagit Skate. Our seven year old granddaughter has been skating at Skagit Skate since she was a toddler. She has gained so much self esteem from becoming accomplished at skating. In addition, she has learned great social behavior habits and safety protocols. Skagit Skate always supports our community very generously and graciously!

We enjoyed the toddler skate, until an older woman got upset and made a snide remark about how slow our toddler was skating and told us to move out of her way. It would be nice if the owners would really enforce the age so everyone could enjoy the skate

Best roller rink that Ive seen in a LONG time. Skip the food, its all awful. Buy some light up teeth guards for $4 and have a ball! Plenty of seating. Bring some quarters for the reasonably priced arcade!

A amazing facility can’t go wrong coming here. Great music food games while being able to rollerskate around to burn some energy off. Also have some awesome roller sports available from speedskating Figure and few different age groups for hockey. Youth teen and adult leagues.

Very clean and most the rink is clean but marred with divits all over which makes it rough and almost like skating outside so stopped skating and really always weird vibe and changed times drove from Marysville and just closing owe me $20 in gas and free session although floor is terrible ,
