You have to take the hike into the woods to see great views of the gorge. For a better view, go to the Woollen Mill park in downtown Winooski

Amazing place so much water flowing down river. Great views, lovely walks,shops and eatery nearby. Do not hesitate.

Blah. Blah blah graffiti ruins the sight .dont go here. Unless you want to see alot of tagging on cement ..why people ruin it for others I dont know

Such an unusual cedar/red pine forest; Ive never seen anything like it. A very sweet rock, ending across from what is clearly a bouldering wall. I envy the access St. Michaels College students have to this spot.

Was a confusing walk along the river, I was truly hoping to see more of the river but there was to many trees. If you follow the fence line you end up running out of path, I followed what I thought was path but turned out to just lead me to a gorge of sorts with no real direction to move forward. It looked like no one had been that far down in a long time. Not a well traveled path. The park is located in the center of Burlington downtown. The view up the hill an across the street of the mountains was breathtaking.

This park is fairly small. You can walk the entirety of the trails in 15 minutes if you are going at a moderate pace. But the overlooks are pretty and accessible. Plus you can extend your time in the area walking down to the waterfront on a well worn path that cuts off the main trail loop.Nice place to pop in for a quick walk if youre passing by and dont have a lot of time. Dont plan this as a long hike though. Youre better served elsewhere for that.

Very small, but nice for a few minutes in nature

Not a terribly interesting park. Yes its by a gorge but any view is obscured by trees, so theres really nothing to see. There are no facilities, no place to sit. There are so many more interesting parks in the vicinity!

I like the area....there so few places left for humans to be with one with nature....grew up in the area...and its fun to smoke bud and have females with ya...dot dot dot...

More of a park and ride than a park. There is a trail with some good views of the gorge though. Worth going to see once but its not exactly a repeat visit place.

Fun place to go for a short hike and look down at the Winooski in the gorge far below. Not wheelchair-accessible. Better in the summer and fall; in the spring its super-muddy and in the winter its icy.

I live right down the street from this place and people go like a hundred miles an hour down the road that supposed to be 25 so when you go to try to let your kids take a walk up the nature path or anyting you have to worry about cars whipping into that parking lot at like 60 mph

Nice views of the river, but a small park that is somewhere between a walk and a hike. Unfortunate graffiti on the bridges spoils the view...
