Leddy used to ve great but now because parking is free it is fullof college kids. The stairs are also very slippery when they are covered in sand. Which is always. I would imagine early in the day you could be there pretty much alone though, which is cool.

Its one of the best hidden lake beaches in the northern east. Clean and not crowded at all. The scenery is beautiful. There is parking and large pic nic tables and restrooms. We went on a sunny Saturday and it was not crowded at all. Best of all there is free parking and no entrance fee. Highly recommended. Even paying lake beaches dont get close to this one. Very large and beautiful beach.

Very serene, went on low tide so there were patches of water on sand. People social distanced, good place to relax, read a book or get your feet wet.

This arena has 2 rinks. We watched a hockey game on the large rink while a small group of younger players skated on the small rink. Both rinks are very well maintained. The building is clean. My only problem was that there are no railings on the stairs. I need that support to feel more stable.

Cute little Beach but can get crowded. Often see people with Unleashed dogs, which is an issue since the place is so small and crowded. As long as the water isnt full of algae, and you can actually swim in the water, then it is perfect!!

Beautiful walk in the snow. Great views of the lake Champlain. Great for cross country skiing as the lake was frozen with fresh snow on the top.

Beach sand is full of garbage and debris. Like most public beaches they need to be in scraped and groomed daily or they become disgusting.

A great cozy beach on lake Champlain. The beach is narrow and small, so if it is a holiday weekend, it can get quite crowded, but is a great alternative to the more popular North Beach. The parking is free, however, you do have a walk about 8 minutes to get to the beach.

Not much place on the beach -- well, if we can call it this way -- but its calm and its a good place to chill and swim on a beautiful afternoon. You can reach by car -- lots of parking -- or by bike, I guess its 2 miles from Burlington.

Leddy is a fun public park that has a beach front that is accessible by stairs or dirt path year round. No lifeguards, but there are a few first come, first served charcoal grills. The park also features a number of athletic fields, an indoor ice rink, tennis courts, and a small playground with public indoor bathrooms. Things are pretty clean and decently maintained.

Maybe the most underrated park in Burlington. Leddy Beach is smaller and more mellow than North Beach, and its free to park. There are no lifeguards or staff at the beach, and its smaller than North Beach, but its nice and has the same bathwater shallows as North Beach and Oakledge. There is a large ice arena with a full-size rink, seating, and a practice rink at the park and lots of hiking trails, soccer pitches that get a ton of age group use, as well as tennis and basketball courts.

Beware. There are no signs indicating this, but if you are going to the tennis courts or lacrosse fields, they will sock you with a $75 parking ticket. Our entire lacrosse team just got fined. Burlington, VT - the City of Thieves heh.
