As far as compared to Vegas or Prairie Meadows there is no comparison, but this casino offers more than it’s fair share of fun. While it is on the tiny side, it provides plenty of options for anyone to lose their money. Whether is a casual weekend night or a family getaway, this is a must stop for those wanting to have a few hours of fun. I was not disappointed.

Its got the most games and probably the best ones around this area we have been to. River side is nicer and probably has more but if I dont want to go too far, this is it.

This casino gets the 2 stars as staff is friendly. However not impressed with the rest with the Pandemic hitting us hard, no social distancing or customers required to wear masks. Allowed to smoke not a fan, non of the casinos in Minnesota allow smoking as this can spread the virus. This has been given down by our cdc. We will spend our money elsewhere. The other thing I agree with other comments machines are very tightand no food available anywhere not even carryout

It sucked! Machines are rather tight in my honest opinion. At least in my visits.... Lakeside in Osceola is where I seem to have my best luck.

We have been to this casino over a dozen times and havent won anything once. They have the machines so tight you might as well throw your money into the trash. I can go to Jumers or Mark Twain casinos and even if I lose at least every once in a while I can get a hit on a machine that gives me hope!

Getting more new machines with great visual and sound effects! Great variety! However, the buffet (which we loved until they changed to off-the-menu format and then back again) is very disappointing. Not a very big selection, and flavor was lacking. Might have been an off night I guess...

This smallish casino feels bigger than it is. That leads to a good time. There is a good variety of slots and poker machines. I did not play the table games but there was cheering and a good time coming from that area. Easy parking, easy to find and fun for an hour or two of casino play.

Best casino we go to good food and payouts

Been a long time since my wife and I visited this casino complex. The casino itself is small and smokey. If you dont like smoke you may not like gambling here. Today we found the machines tight as you no what. We had a very good lunch in the Boogaloo Cafe though. The tomato basil and tortilla soup was superb. Also loved the sidewinder fries. The complex is nicely decorated and well up kept. Give them a try if in the area. Good amusement area for families with kids.

Do not gamble here! The casino has some unique rules in at least in both blackjack and roulette. We sat down at a blackjack table and were told only after the dealer hit 22 that it was a push because it was the free bet table. The dealer said that the next table over was the normal table but the same thing happened there. Then at roulette, the dealer picked up the ball after she spun it because she said it wasnt going fast enough when it was clearly going no slower than the previous spins. One of the female bartenders was also not very friendly. There were signs that said Thanks for Not Smoking, yet people were smoking. It smelled horrible.

We love this casino. Drinks specials rock. Free coffee and pop/water/tea all day. Earn free play as you play. Love it! All the good games are on the smoking side though. Wish they would spread it out more.

The slots are loose enough where if you play smart you can break even or even win a little. Plus, the complex that it is housed in has so much more to do. And the staff is friendly.

Stopped in recently while visiting. I wanted to learn to play craps, the dealers were eager to help me and it was a great time. While winning helps have a good time the Casino is always clean. Ive never had a bad experience while being here. So great to see a place in a town the size of Burlington.

Brutal. Simply brutal. But they do have bars that stay open past midnight, unlike everywhere else in Burlington, so they get an additional star for that. New sportsbook is clean and smoke free.

I grew up in Burlington. I left in the late 1980s. Since that time, Winegard has done some amazing things. I know his contributions havent been without controversy. If I were still living there, I would do everything I could to show thanks and support to he and his team. Catfish Bend doesnt even belong there - because its so nice! Ask all the other river towns if they would like to have all the businesses that Winegard built or purchased? Fort Madison? Keokuk? If you take the casino and surrounding complex out of Burlington, there would be a gaping hole. The locals should thank their lucky stars that they have a facility like this in their community because its amazing!
