Personalized service from the men who were working there. It was a nice visit and they were very informative, too. There is a lot of historical significance at this location. Love airplanes.

What a great way to witness and experience history. The pieces in this air collection are in great shape, there are planes, vehicles, and space exhibition for the Apollo 8 mission. The artifacts that have been donated add depth to the displays that other museums dont have.

Great family experience! For being a relatively small air show we saw lots of up close flying!! Comfortable viewing area from within the hanger. How often do you get a covered area to watch an air show!

Not very many planes here on the day of my visit. But the ones that were here have some very interesting history. Toured with a very knowledgeable docent who made our visit more enjoyable. There is a small space exhibit also. They are adding more space for future expansion.

Small airport with a surprising amount if historical documents inside. Fly days are fun - there are spaces for chairs (I think its bring-your-own) and Civil Air Patrol teens are available to help kids and adults use the flight simulator! My boys liked the simulator while my husband enjoyed the planes.

Off the beaten path Vintage Aircraft Museum. This museum used to be located in Bellingham Washington but relocated to Skagit Regional Airport. Every 2nd Saturday during the summer they have Fly Days where you can see these beautiful aircraft in action. The museum is owned by Retired Astronaut Bill Anders who was on the Apollo 8 program. Lot of great history here at this museum for all to enjoy.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon! We were fortunate to have a tour with Del, who was as interesting, well-informed and entertaining as a docent can be. The exhibits are fascinating and are in truly beautiful condition, and are flown regularly. So much history made immediate. What a great gift to the public this place is!

We visited this by accident , looking for the larger flying museum further south. What a stroke of luck! Friendly and personal , you can walk right up to the planes and trucks . This was the best Google mischance we could get, well worth the visit and while not as many exhibits is every bit as good as the one further south.
