This remarkable non profit theater provides an intimate setting for productions in its historic location. The seating is excellent and you cant go wrong anywhere you find yourself. Parking is available right next to the entrance. The staff are all welcoming and helpful, and the actual productions are filled with incredible talent and heartfelt performances. Go and enjoy some history and excellent theater!
Its a great performing arts space. Clean and easy to get to park etc.
A terrific theater space. Really good Productions, Ive seen three or four, at this point. Theres free and metered parking in the neighborhood, and also paid parking in their lot. And theres good restaurants in close walking distance.
Seen some great shows here. Very intimate seating allowing for a closer view than you get in many theaters.
Fantastic theater my date and I went there to see the final performance of The Mountaintop, portraying the last night in Dr. Martin Luther Kings life, and in all honesty it was the best play Ive ever seen. Ever. The performance from the cast was terrific, and the staff was very hospitable. Ill definitely be going back.
THE BEST staff. And some of the best theater anywhere.
For a trip, go to a show at the GMT, then walk to Smokehouse and ask for Gary Marshall booth... #RIPLegend
Beautiful intimate theater and welcoming professional front of house staff!
One of the last remaining great theaters in The Valley. With shows that vary from childrens musicals, to racially-explorative dramas, proven classics, to originals from new playwrights. This theater will have something for you. Also, it serves as an excellent community hub far more than many of its local blackbox neighbors. It has the history, the community, and the talent to make great shows which it does time and time again.
Everyone at Garrys theatre is great! The shows...the employees. Cannot recommend this establishment highly enough! I give you 100 stars out of 5! Thanks so much for the positive experiences.
We saw the Martin Luther King Jr Over The Mountain Top Play. It was great. Nice place to visit.
Love, love this theater. Weve been season ticket holders for many years and every play weve seen has been wonderful. And Master Class was no exception! You absolutely must go see this one. And the new staff there is wonderful. I must admit I really miss the wonderful guy at the snack bar and the comedian at the parking gate. They were like old friends wed see each time we came.
It is a wonderful theater space! Theres not a bad I sight line in the place.
Have been a subscriber for ten years ... the place has improved dramatically in the last year, from an already high standard. This theater has MUCH better shows and actors than you can see downtown LA ... at much lower prices ... thoughtful, tasteful, wonderful variety, set design, convenience. Its just a screaming bargain!
Excellent show and intimate theater. They should do more in house events like wine tastings, acting classes, food tastings.
Great to see fabulous productions as great if not better than some at other theaters we have season tickets to. Every show has been wonderfully entertaining. I highly recommend the show to friends every time I see a new show.
Got to catch Wood Boy Dog Fish here (which was a mind-blowingly amazing show!!) and I gotta say the theatre itself is absolutely beautiful. Hoping to come back again for another show!
Friendly, comfortable theatre. Perfect for small productions with a lot of character.
Exceptional staff and tremendous performance of Lady Day.
We went to hear a story called Gaston. It was a cute little theater.
Great theatre and location. Easy street parking!
Amazing shows and movie nights
Its a non profit theater dedicated to the arts, Garry Marshall was the founder. The original name of the theater was The Falcon Theatre named for Garrys Bronx sandout baseball team. The name change is in honor of Garry who passed away summer 2016.
Such a beautiful theatre space!
Usually love this place, but didnt like the current play at all

Convenient parking, great view of the stage and excellent shows.
Quaint theatre that always has great performances.
Fabulous venue. Wonderful performance
Best Theatre in town hands down.
The theater is relatively well resourced and is doing the right thing by taking programming risks and investing in emerging playwrights.
Amazing inside
