Great for a short walk, run, or bike around on path or wood chip trail (on the south side) Being that its about 3 miles around, its easy for getting in a 5k or 10k. Every once in a while you may see a turkey or deer. More common are a variety of birds and squirrels!

When we were there, there were police officers trying to sequester an abandoned pit bull. There was trash all over the place and the playground looked like it hadnt been updated in 25 years. The park itself seemed scenic enough with nice-ish trails, but the other things suggested that the neighborhood wasnt the friendliest place in the world.

I grew up around this area but I cant say enough nice things about it. People are extremely friendly around here it has an amazing vibe. Its always been very well maintained and no issues ever. I hope that they keep this around for a long time. Good walking and biking trails, scenic trails and a lake. Good for taking casual walks or playing with your dog, kids etc. Also good spots for photography. Highly recommend!

Palmer lake is a nice wooded park to ride bike or take a walk. It has miles of both paved and mulched trails. There are many bird and animal species to observe as well. Today I watched red tail Hawks courting, bald eagles soaring. As well as deer and coyote tracks. There are playgrounds on either end of the park. A very nice family place to hang out.
