A great day trip. I park downtown there’s bookstores coffee shops and a town square with a new deal era courthouse. Antique art galleries. Dog friendly. A god way to spend the day

Its tiny. Just an alley, really, that they made a decorative entry with flowers. Not sure why they call it a park. The old 1800s cistern is interesting and they have informative signs explaining about it. I would say, go see it, but it takes about 10 minutes and youre done.

This park is really interesting and informative. It is a historic cistern and the history of cisterns in the city. The park has a significant amount of historic information on plaques around the cistern. It also is a nice place to sit between buildings. I gave it 4 stars because it is paved, not green space or a playground. Its not the traditional definition of a park.

We stopped by here to learn about cisterns and get a little bit of history into our day-cation.my kids were definitely impressed by being able to see how the cisterns worked and loved seeing the flowing water. The word park is a little misleading. Its more of a space between two buildings but nonetheless it was very clean.

All the years I have gone to Brenham I never knew about the cistern. Nice little place to walk around and read about the history. The cistern is enclosed with glass and the flowers are beautiful.

Its a very small area between two buildings but there are signs with some very interesting information about Texass history. There is also a cistern to view and a bit of garden. If youre walking around Brenhem its a nice spot to visit.

I love that so much has been made of relatively little. This is just a little slice of a park - really just the space between two buildings - but its delightful. Green and lush and quiet and theres the constant sound of splashing water from the two fountains (well, theyre more like pumps than fountains, but theyre more decorative now than useful). Interesting to read so much about the towns history. I only wish idiots didnt have to write their names on every damn thing; it spoils the look of things to have everything scratched up.

Cool pocket park with massive amounts of history to read while you enjoy some fresh air, flowers, a calming water feature. Check put the engineering display of cisterns, grab a drink at the Store next door, relax and enjoy some peace.

Not.many things to do, except to shoot some pictures to the graffiti on some walls, really mice pieces of mural art.The BlueBell Ice Cream factory was closed during the weekends; a lot of people was having a walk in its parking lot without a y opportunity to test/eat that delicious ice cream. That was disappointing. Very much disappointed!

Stopped here on our way back from Houston. Lots of people out and about. Heard it was some type of reunion group in town. Enjoyed the shops and great weather. We have stopped here on past to look in shops and visit Blue Bell Ice shop. Yummy ice cream.
