Awesome place , cant believe how well this house has stood up after so many years , I know renovations were done but how much they tried to keep the history going is amazing . Beautiful home !!! Always great to know more about historic things that surround areas near by !!!!

The tour of the three historic homes in Brenham was fun. The young girls that host really do try to offer informative tours and cite interesting things about the structures. I only gave 3 stars because the hostesses were hit or miss and didn’t really read their scripts or couldn’t answer group questions. It would have been nice to have docents on site that could offer assistance when the girls faltered. Otherwise, the homes themselves were quite gorgeous and a real treat to visit.

Great Gala event last night. Food was excellent.

Nice place for a small to medium wedding unless everything is done outside. Rooms are a bit small for large groups such as for cake cutting or first dance. Parking lot is also very limited. Located on a hilltop with pleasant views.

Attended a friends wedding reception here. Its a beautiful, historic home. We even moved the party inside due to weather and still had a great time, even though its a fairly small venue

What a lovely location for a wedding reception, party, gathering. The home is decorated in period antiques, and upon wandering around in the home, we almost get to know the family that lived there. The home takes you back to a different time in life, built on the high hill, the prevailing winds kept the family healthy. Bad weather - lots of wind moved in on us whilst at the a party, the generous home easily accommodated all guests moving from the sprawling yard to the interior of the home. Very beautiful location. The 45 minute drive from Cypress was relaxing, instead of fighting 45 minutes going East to a venue in Houston, the westward drive was lovely. Great accommodations in Brenham too - at a bed and breakfast - the Historic Holle House.
