I really enjoyed this trail, and found it incredibly challenging, but that might have been because the weather was 80° on the day I went. Theres lots of lose rocks and pretty steep inclines at certain points so its definitely a hike you want to wear good shoes for and dont expect a leisurely stroll through the woods. Theres also several side hikes and at times the trails arent marked so gps is helpful.

Easy access. Challenging terrain. Very rocky and not for the faint of heart. Occasionally passing fellow hikers and mountain bikers. Lots for everyone. Keep it clean.

Look out - there is a drainage canyon in the parking lot. Avoid the outhouse, its absolutely disgusting.

I loved this trail. There werent too many people on it and it was a super nice day out. My dog and I had a great time navigating the rocks and tree roots. The hike was moderate, not too easy but not too hard either. The views were great!

I hate that they allow motorbikes , but other than that a great trail. 10.3 miles round trip , kind of hard in spots. Wear the right shoes !

Great place to ride dirt bikes, mountain bikes, and trail run. Weekends are kind of busy and if you are on two wheels walkers tend to be a little cranky so be extra polite.

Ok so this is a nice place to hike, when there are no motorcycle on the trail. They also tear up the trail a bit some times to the point that it is hard to hike the trail. You must have a pass to park and they do hit this parking lot often to give ticket. I will say the view is very nice for the hike and the hike is a challenge for a short trip. If you can go on a week day that will help you with the crowds. Good luck on this hike and hope for clear skys.

The trails are well made and fairly easy for hiking however we did this midweek in April. I think weekends in summer there would be lots of mountain bikes and 4 wheelers which might make hiking less peaceful.

Too many Mountain Bikers. Scary dudes, almost got ran over four times. Cant hear them coming. They should get their own area. No problem with the motorcycles all friendly and I could hear them coming so easy to move for them to pass.

This trail is possibly one of the best Ive ever been on. Its secluded enough from the street and its big and long enough for you to not bump into other people on your walk. It is so beautiful and quiet out there. It is definately my new favorite hiking spot now.

Trailhead has many ruts from dirt bikes so bring mid top and higher boots as water is constantly running down trail at 3 inches and above in many spots, the dog loved it so we will be back to check out more trails, wildcat connects to vista trail which leads to a beautiful lookout with tables and nice views, lookout is about 4 miles from trailhead

Great little trail system, mostly for hiking. No technical portions and over 15 miles of winding trails for a half day hike. Also, there is a convenience store and lake one mile away from the trail head to make it an all day event if desired. You will require a WA Discover pass to park and hike.

For a hiker this is not a great spot. If you are on a horse or dirt-bike You will probably score this trail much higher! We found the trail to be damaged by off-road tires and large animals so not ideal for hikers. Off-roaders enjoy!

The viewpoint at the top is now grown over with trees and there is no view. The best you can do is stop on the way up to view the Seattle side, about 2/3 of the way. Or, you can keep going to the very ugly clear cut which offers a view of the Olympics. Overall its a lot of work for very little view. And you have to listen to the motorcycles , smell their emissions, and jump off the path at a moments notice when they roar down the trail.

The trail is pretty torn up by bicycles, motorbikes, and horses, which made it abnormally arduous and difficult to walk since your feet constantly slip. If we had gone during rain, it would have been a mud pit. Also, there was poo everywhere.
