The area around Poulsbo never fails to amaze me when hiking! The hikes are always well kept, beautiful, and completely relaxing!! Dickerson Creek Falls trail definitely meets these qualities! It is a short 2.3 mile hike that is dog friendly, very well maintained and has a beautiful waterfall. Please remember that this is a leave no trace hike and pack out everything you bring in with you. We enjoyed this awesome hike very much!
Such a great little hike and waterfall. I recommend bringing a snack and towels, especially if you have kiddos. I would say this is a moderate trail, because you definitely have to be careful while navigating the little trail down to the falls. There is limited space to sit and hang out near the waterfall, especially when there are multiple families. Having a light pair of water shoes in your backpack is helpful due to the sharp, sometimes slippery rocks around the waterfall. I wore my garmin watch and it was 1.2 miles each way, so a total of 2.4 miles.
It’s pretty, but since it became more public it’s over traveled.... great for social distancing, dogs and local scenery.
Cool trail! Gets a little steep a few times but overall pretty easy for beginners, and not too tiring.
My neighbor and I have tried to get to the waterfall before and were unable to find it. We had hiked around Kitsap Lake and was a little confused exactly where the falls where. So we have to end our walk that day and come back on another day. Beautiful area and definitely a beautiful place for a hike.
Its a nice hike bout 15 minutes. No real challenge, if u havent been before a bit hard to find, but other than that, its a gorgeous waterfall in all seasons, recently the path has been redone to make it safer. Its a wonderful place to bring a dog for a walk, or to bring the kids. Large road path or small path through the woods. Both give you beautiful scenic views.
Scenic view of the waterfall! And still more things to view. Nice versatility in a choice to hike the roadway or the more scenic trails.
Went in January the day after a lot of rain, the waterfall was flowing full and was awesome. Be prepared for mud if it has been raining though!
Its a good and kind of tricky hike, as the trail is very narrow and steep closer you get to the falls. Waterfall is pretty, but smaller. All and all a good way to spend your day. Dogs allowed
Nice beginner trail. Good for children and adults alike. Highly recommend for a casual weekend hike.
Trail had some inclines but was very accessible. The creek at the end made it all worth it! I used the app AllTrails for a map which helped navigate me on the way out
Awesome to sit n listen to the water. U forget ur in a city.
Park at Lebers Lane Trailhead and follow trail signs to Dickerson Falls. The trail is wide and well maintained. Waterfall is flowing even in late July. Not a lot of room to picnic but it is possible. Lovely 60-90 min outing.
Its beautiful, quick and easy to get to for some tranquility.
Short and easy hike, family and pets friendly. Plenty of parking spots.
Beautiful! Easy trail, well trafficked, good parking
Good easy kid and pet friendly.... Pick up after yourself and pets please.
Short hike with few uphill sections. Secluded waterfall with tons of shade.
Beautiful, little trip to the falls though!
Nice and easy hike to bring along some young children
Cool Shot after a nice hike..
Great easy walk. Saw a huge bear too!
Perfect trail to take your dog on
Great place for a good hike
Dont tell your friends about this one either
Still a bit slippery going down, but they are improving the trail.
Development of this area has ruined what the waterfalls use to be..picked up so much garbage on the hike there and back
Nice hike!
Great hike.
Amazing place to go
Easy fun hike
