The place has always been amazing. The breads are the best. I can’t say anything bad about this place. The prices are good. The staff is friendly. People please be responsible out there. Bring your mask and practice cleanliness. You can’t control what others do, but you can control what you do. We all should do our part.

We enjoyed it...I would not pay to rent a table and tent again...nobody monitors it and people sat down all around us and we paid for it. No signage that says they are reserved. Also, that was not a hayride worth $4. It was a short ride to let you spend your money. Nothing enjoyable about it. Nice facility. Kid friendly.

Looks like a beautiful and fun place but there is no way to social distance here and have anything to do at this time. You cant walk to pick apples, you Have to ride the hayride, and no one is wearing masks! even though it says masks are required. We definitely wasted a long drive to be disappointed that we couldnt just give someone a $20 to pick a few apples off a tree in a social distanced manner.

This location and amenities were great, but I wish we had gone last year. I was terribly disappointed by their lack of COVID restrictions. Their website and on location signs said masks required but the staff didn’t reinforce or even encourage the rules. The hay ride to the pumpkin patch and corn maze was not socially distanced and majority of people were without masks. My family and I were very uncomfortable and drove an hour to be there. We had a great experience at Jacksons Orchard! We had lunch at the concession stand which was reasonable priced and very delicious. The apple fried pie and apple cider slush were soooo gooood! I like how you pay for what you want to do instead of a flat admission rate. My kids are too young to do everything. My kids loved the hay ride to the orchard and picking apples. Where do I start. We go every year some times multiple times. We love the place. The staff is fantastic... except for this year. Before we go we check the website for face mask requirements due to COVID 19. There was nothing on the site letting us know what to expect. So we go and are having a great time. We get in line for the hay ride and see a sign saying face mask required. We look and no one is wearing a mask in line and the staff isn’t enforcing the rule. No masks were offered even though it is a requirement fir business to have if they require them. We get on the ride and on the way back a golf cart with a bitter older lady on it starts screaming at us and staring my wife in the eyes. She is screaming “where is your mask? It’s required?” She keeps screaming this at us even though only a few people on the entire ride have a mask on.The worker who was fantastic didn’t have a mask on but quickly pulls his out of his pocket and tells us that’s Mrs. Jackson. She is still sitting in her golf cart staring at us. I have never seen a owner as rude an degrading as she was. I understand the importance of the mask but instead of screaming at your patrons maybe focus on training your staff and following the business requirements that the state has set for yourself.

Drove all the way from Nashville, to spend a few minutes, and go elsewhere. Although masks are required, maybe 5% or people wore one, and no one on the staff seemed willing to enforce their own guidelines. It was packed this Sunday afternoon, at the store, in the line for the hay ride to go apple picking, as well as just around the orchard, with hardly anyone social distancing or wearing a mask.I thought I would quickly buy some cider and apples before heading out, but upon walking into the crammed store, changed my mind, and we left.

Fun place for the whole family especially around holidays. This is a beautiful setting of a working orchard where you can pick your own fruit in season or purchase various amounts of a number of different varieties. Fall brings in apples as well as several different kinds and sizes of pumkins and gourds. They also have prepared products from harvested fruits including jams and jellies, pickled vegetables, local fresh vegetables, honey and mixes for breads, pancakes and deserts. There is also a sack bar serving bbq, chips, ice cream, fruit pies and other treats. There is a huge playground(small charge $ to offset insurance costs) and farm animals to pet.

This is a very cute, family friendly place. We went in the middle of August, and there was still plenty to do for small children. There were still goats to visit, and plenty of produce to purchase. We bought some mennonite made bread, as well as peach butter. The playground is still open to the public, and we kept the attention of our toddler for two and a half hours easily. Were giving four stars simply because during our visit they were burning brush, and for some reason they chose to do this right next to the playground. We wouldve spent a much longer time at the orchard (and purchased more things like peach ice cream), had we not been worried about smoke inhalation.

Ive been going to Jacksons for nearly 30 years and today was the last time I will ever go. I brought my small dog with me which I was carrying. When we pulled up I saw a couple with a dog on a leash, so I thought it was OK. As soon as I walked in this woman who was one of the cashiers loudly said SIR SIR ran around the corner and got right up in my face. Treated me like a five year old and told me I needed to leave because pets arent allowed. Extremely rude and loud manner though.I understand the rule. Thats fine, I made a mistake. She decided to cause a scene about it in a threatening manner, instead of politely telling me pets werent allowed. No reason to all but scream at me. Mr. Jackson deserves to have better employees representing what he has built there. As for me never going back. Another man who was working there came up while we were walking away and he was nice and I appreciated that. Told him it wasnt his fault. But the old angry miserable cashier needs to be let go. Jacksons Orchard is better than that.

Went for apple festival. Very nice place but one of the employees told my husband to go home because he was lying on a bench - which he was doing because of his recent knee surgery. Would she tell a disabled person that he or she wasnt welcome? It felt nasty. Wont go back.

My family has a tradition of apple picking on Labor Day, so after seeing the website mention an “Apple Festival,” we decided to drive from the Nashville area to check it out - unfortunately, I’m not sure if the owners of this farm know what a festival is. Nothing at this slightly boring and small farm/orchard led us to believe any type of festival was taking place. The entire scope of the “event” consisted of a fruit stand in a barn, a concessions shack, a parking lot, and restrooms. Moreover, I imagine that what was available during our “festival” visit was most likely the same &$#% that’s available any other day. Oh yeah, there is also a lame pay-to-play area with slides that seems like an afterthought money grab effort from the owners in an obvious attempt to rip off millennials with five-year-olds. During our visit, we did pick apples, but were allowed access to only the Golden Delicious section (very limited - probably 50 trees total). When we got home and tried the apples they were NOT good - they tasted like over-grown dirty crabapples and were not crisp, juicy, or delicious. I give it two stars because the cider was decent and the cider slush was good - but any regular grocery store has similar products. The popcorn tasted like cardboard, the caramel apples were tiny, and when we asked for extra cups, the girl at the counter grabbed two by sticking her fingers inside them and handing them to us - after she had just touched dirty money/given us our change (so we just threw them away). Doesn’t anyone train food handlers anymore? I will say that the people running the stands seemed friendly- one lady mentioned that they have a “pumpkin festival” and invited us back - I pretended to be interested. I must also mention that the VERY steep, VERY thin, and VERY winding road up to the farm might cause your engine, or your heart, to explode... Sorry, but, we won’t be back and I cannot recommend going- there’s gotta be better farms than this.

I have been to Jacksons Orchard many times, But today after going with my child on a field trip I will probably never go back. I have not been treated that rude in a very long time . I was waiting to check out , I had an armful of stuff . I had a very hyper 5 yr old with me also so after waiting in line for ten minutes I was glad it was my turn and the check out girl just disappears and the other cashier said you will have to check out over here and put me back at the end of the line after I had already waited in one line. So when I said so I have to wait again she very rudely said no one else had a problem with hearing me !!! So then like I said I had a lot of stuff, plus a small child with me . I asked her if she could put the two small apple ciders in a bag please and she informed me very rudely most people dont need a bag there are handles on the cider ... She was beyond rude about me asking her to bag my stuff!! I had a 5 yr old... his pumpkin... Two candles... jars of food... and two containers of apple cider???? I refuse to go somewhere and spend 50$ plus and be talked to like that... it is supposed to be a family friendly environment and there was nothing friendly about that lady

The drive up to the orchard is wonderful. The playground for the kids is large and plenty of space for children to burn of energy. However, if youre from out of state expect to be talked to like you are incompetent and know nothing. Simple questions get responded to with a very enthusiastic absolutely not as though you should have already known the answer. The young gentlemen was very nice and the manager listened and then made it a point to say not only the employee escalated the situation, but I as well. The problem is when youre employee doesnt know when to shut their mouth and I ask them if they are going to continue arguing with me in front of customers, to have it reversed and told that she wont have me being rude in front of customers.. im pretty sure I already tried to make that point, but ok manager we both escalated the situation. My advice. Unless youre a local or a returning customer, find another orchard..If you dont believe me idI check other reviews that are recent. He went the next week and came back with two cantaloupe, a seedless watermelon and two containers of peaches. The cantaloupe are not sweet or ripe, the watermelon looked like it had been picked a month too early (at least) and the peaches took so long to ripen they almost all rotted. Not happy at this point!! Threw the watermelon away after cutting it open and finding it BARELY red, let the cantaloupe set for several days before cutting one and it is not sweet at all and more than half of the peaches have large rotten spots on them. Quite frankly, think a refund is in order and not sure we will be buying out there again. Cant believe the difference between the first and second visits.
