Victoria is the best massage therapist I ever met. She is very knowledgable, attantive and really helps. My life is different after I visit her.
Walden Ponds is one of our very favorite spots and we feel fortunate that we live nearby. Its a great place for kids and families.Leashed dogs are allowed, except for on the board walk (the long bridge that takes you across part of the wetland). The senior access pond is a nice spot for kids to go fishing with their grandparents. My daughter enjoys fishing there with her grandpa. There is an easy to access bathroom, a dock and a covered picnic area. Multiple handicap parking spots, too. As you drive in, youll see the senior access pond first before you get to main access parking area.We feel like we always discover something great when we go to Walden Ponds! We see wildlife and enjoy being out in nature. There are often bird watchers (and some are friendly enough to let you take a look through their scope).I would definitely recommend bringing binoculars (besides the essentials of water, snacks, etc).In the summer, bug spray is recommended because mosquitos are out even during the day.Biking is also possible, we like take our bikes around the whole trail which is a nice loop around. We definitely visit here year-round. Each season at Walden Ponds is beautiful!
Clean, well maintained. Loads of wildlife. Pleasant flat walk around ponds. Lovely.
So many ponds, nice boardwalk! Portapotties, Probably nice for early morning bird/viewing. Much of it is bikeable, but also much for walkers only.
Go early. This afternoon very few birds seen, but it was still a nice walk. The newer boardwalk is only one way right now and very fun; it feels like being in the pond cattails etc.
Such an amazing story: quarry transformed into nature preserve - always a great birding site!
A great place to go for a walk with family and or a pet
Extensive trails around multiple ponds with some nice woodlands scattered in. Its a pleasant place to have a walk around and enjoy the nature and not too busy.
Even in winter a lovely place to walk my dogs! All dogs must be leashed so not for people who want a voice and sight experience because it is a protected habitat. Lots of waterfowl on the ponds and fun to watch the gliders flying overhead that take off the Boulder County Airport. Trails are well maintained and many are handicap friendly.
Good place to meet and go for a walk
Senior fishing spot...handicapped access
Spending so much quality self care time in this area has been a delight. Watching the seasons roll through and showing my son how to become as much of a naturalist as possible. I like places like this but you can still get muddy. Well enough off the beaten path, metro forget your proximity to industrial duties, perfect for a lunch break when you actually work in those duties
This place needs a lot of work!
Its crowded sometimes but for the most part it isnt too crowded, lots of space and fishing spots. We bring our dogs and they really enjoy it there.
Great spots to just sit and watch the critters go by...
Beautiful ️
I live near Waldon Ponds and go there often. Its a wonderful place to hike, walk your dog, or watch the wildlife. With all the rain and high water this year, its especially beautiful.
Nice and quiet area!
Lovely place for a walk and to watch birds
Great place to go birding
Great place to go and fish and relax. My brother and I had a wonderful time catching fish.
Lovely place for the whole family!
Perfect when you want a relaxing flat hike and its cool enough not to need shade. If you go at the right time of day you can see some interesting birds. Nice parking lot, and there are restrooms at the trailhead.
Lovely place for a good walk
Very quiet and lots of open spaces with miles of trails
Walden ponds is a wildlife habitat with lots of birds. There are many paths you can walk around a number of ponds. you can do a short loop or make it a long loop based on which paths you choose to take.
Awesome place for an evening walk! Tonights walk did leave me feeling a bit drained. Like Patrick Stewarts character in that movie Lifeforce. The mosquitos sucked away my precious bloods.
Not much to brag about or complain about.
They are open sunup to sundown. A beautiful wildlife habitat. Reclaimed in the late seventies from old open pit gravel mines. Hiking, biking, picnicking, fishing and much more. Fishing over the age of 16 does require purchase of a fishing license, or expect a ticket from the rangers or sheriff. One of the best places for a early summer morning walk.
Nice place for a walk with the family. Lots of wildlife to see. Catwalk through the marshy area. Exclusive fishing pond for seniors.
A natural area created out of several abandoned gravel pits partially filled with water seeping from nearby Boulder Creek and distressingly close to sewage treatment plant. Still there is usually no shortage of different types of birds ripe for the watching.
Easy hike but such beautiful views and wildlife
Nice easygoing trail walking, however it just seems sad here. Not really a whole lot of birds for a bird sanctuary. Its alright, but dont bother going here if you dont live in the area as there are an insane number of places that are a thousand times better than here.
The Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat in east Boulder county is a solid area for a nature walk. The numerous ponds in the area attract a wide variety of birds, so this is an excellent area for bird watching. The wide paths are well maintained, and the three trail heads in the area (all with restrooms) are stocked with informational pamphlets. There are interpretative signs and benches along the route. This is not a place for a serious hike, but its definitely an area where the whole family (including leashed dogs) can enjoy a long, flat walk.
Nice ponds and paths. Lots of mosquitoes though. Dont go in summer unless theres a good breeze.
Beautiful peaceful place to walk in Boulder county.
Great place for a nature walk.
Beautiful but mosquitoes. Nice and quiet generally but aircraft
Ok, usually always crowded
Didnt catch any fish but. Great views and very peaceful
A great, easy hike for bird watching or to get away for quiet in the area.
This is a beautiful place for bird watching. The wetlands extend back a ways so you can explore on the trails and look out for birds of all species. This is also a great place to have a panoramic view of the distant mountains. Its also a great place to take little kids as the board walk is quite fun and there isnt any strenuous hiking
Beautiful area!
Beautiful, lots of birds to see. Nice paths. Good in any season!
So beautiful!!!
Beautiful touch of nature. Very good walking trail.
Took a couple of horses here to trail ride. Not a long trail or very difficult but pretty. Think this is a nice close trail great for fall through spring.
A nice little spot to take in.
Walden ponds is an easy, scenic hike close to Boulder and Louisville. My daughter loved the raised walk way through the marsh and reeds. I knock it a star because the maps were not very clear leading us to get on the wrong trail. Not a big deal since it is short hikes though.
Chill place.
A hidden Urban Treasure
Great place for a short walk and see some wetland wildlife. Vault toilets are usually pretty clean.
Bird watching, fishing, and if you are weird like me herping whats not to love aboutthis place
Great place to wander and observe wildlife....lots of invasive teasel
I may not like Walden ponds quite as much as Sawhill ponds, but its still a great area to visit. Plenty of walking and fishing to be had away from the city.
It is a great spot to see migrating birds, with a large shelter for BBQ s in the summer.
Favorite place to watch birds in Colorado.
Good place for bird nerds and nature lovers.
Walden Ponds, an easy hiking trail, and home to some of the wildest species close to Boulder. Herons, ospreys, swans and owls, photographers, school groups, bikers and horseback riders. Because of the abundance of water filling in the old mining pits, youll see flora and fauna unlike any in Boulder. Great views, a quick drive to lunch away from work, or to do a quick walk in nature.
Beautiful spot. Could pump some of more water to get the water level higher.
Multiple habitats make this one of the very best birding locations in the area.
An excellent place to see waterfowl and plains/ mountain transition birds.
Great trails.
You can get a lot of fish here but they are small. Inly certain type of people can come here. Very pretty.
Wild trails wildlife beautiful peaceful
Big open space with lots of birds and wildlife and a few mins of easy trails
FAntastic place for a quick hike, walk around the ponds and to see and hear birds. Great area for fishing too ! The summer sunsets views are AMAZING ! One of the hidden gems of Boulder
Beautiful place to see wildlife in town.
Beautiful park, wildlife and fishing ponds. Amazing pictures to be found
Great for spotting birds, best when all the ponds have water
Very peaceful, usually not crowded.
An excellent wetland habitat with thousands of ducks!
Half of the ponds are nearly empty. Not a bad place for a stroll and a good place for bird watching.
Crowded, but pretty.
Lovely views, well maintained trails and plenty of action for birders
Excellent place for a walk, so closet home.
Very informative on wildlife and the environment.
Besutiful!
Nice place for quiet walk, jogging, fishing with kids or bird watching. Ponds water level is very dependent on weather...
Great birds!
Nice little oasis, thats close by.
Love it,my kinda place
