Great park by the Boulder Creek. Can get a little crazy on nice days. If you’re looking for something low key, try a spot further East along the creek.

The park and river are beautiful;however, it was packed with people. We had to park 2 blocks away and walk. People were sitting on any available perch. It was all very friendly, but I like more space when Im at a park or walking a trail.

Was bicycling on a route through Boulder and discovered this park as a really nice spot for a break in my bicycle ride. Beautiful scenery, Boulder Creek right at the border of it, park benches and tables for picnics. As you can see from my photos I also observed a group having a whole lot of fun in one of the fields. I look forward to my next visit!

Cultural hotspot for boulder. The kids kind if take the place over every summer. Great tubbing, shade, and playground. Facilities folks always get too much work as so many people here litter constantly, but thats part of how I prefer raising my kid, we pick up for the practice, hope that catches on. This is a great park

Beautiful diverse park with Boulder Creek running through. Easy drive from Denver. Hard to find a parking spot. Had to drive around a few times & we were there on a Weds around 3:00 pm. Nice open grassy area to relax with lots of shade. Nicely paved wide path to walk, run & bike.Seemed very dog friendly. Fun creek to go tubing or just put your feet in. Very interesting walk past the playground & up the trails along the river. A younger crowd lounging in hammocks & along the rocks. People playing music, guitars & other instruments. I felt very safe & comfortable walking through the hidden areas. Will definitely be returning soon...with my hammock!

The park is perfect because it’s next the river and has plenty of space for everyone, parking can be tough sometimes but it’s not a big deal because there’s an upper lot that I’ve used before.

There are always lots of people here, so if you like Community this is a great Park. The amazing river that runs through it makes it the most wonderful place to visit and hang out for an hour or two. The park is part of a system of trails that wind through the mountains and urban areas so its easy to get to on foot. Parking is very problematic, though, so if you can, arrange to arrive by foot. Check out the trails on a map beforehand.

Perfect for those who like sitting on stumps! The City of Boulder has successfully ruined the creek / tubing area above Eben G Fine by cutting down about 50% of the foliage, including the rope swinging trees. For someone whos been going there for 15 years, the place is barely recognizable: the shaded lounge areas are gone, the highway noise has doubled, the views are mostly of power lines. Second star only because an hour of tubing is still a fun way to cool down, but Id recommend finding a river with fewer roving hoards of fun-hating hypocrites.

The best creek dipping spot in town! Whether you go in the summer and enjoy yourself some relaxing tubing down the series of waterfalls or jump in while there is ice in the creek, there seems to be a little something for everyone! This creek is perfect for anyone wanting more COLD water exposure in their life or anyone practicing the Wim Hof Method! Over the course of a year I have been to Eben G. Fine park over 30 times. The park is well maintained, groomed, and ready for use any day of the year. They offer a multi-use trail throughout the entire park for biking, running, roller blading, skating( you get the idea.), a playground if you have any youngsters, fly fishing spots, kayaking down the creek seems to be popular in the summer time, plenty of space for Frisbee, and other countless activities only limited to your own imagination. Eben G. Fine park is rad! Enjoy the summer!

Mi
Review №50

The park itself is beautiful, nestled close to the mountains in the foothills of West Boulder, near Boulder Canyon. The park offers walking/running paths shared with bikes, and has its own parking areas - a dedicated lot in the northeast portion of the park and plenty of street parking spots along Arapahoe to the southwest. Additionally, there are mens and womens restrooms here. The negative is that the place is a magnet for homeless. Not the down on their luck, trying to get by and get themselves together kind of homeless, but more so the hardcore drug addict shooting drugs with a needle right in the open kind of homeless. The kind that dont care about polite society and taking care of things - I have watched some of them not only do drugs like I mentioned, but also spray painting the structures. One time several of them locked themselves in the bathroom and trashed it, which caused the bathrooms to be down for the whole summer and you had to use port-o-pottys. They have ruined my image of the park. Otherwise, great park. I cant complain about the grounds or facilities.

Amazing place! Absolutely magical. Be sure to bring some water shoes if you want to get in the river. You can park along the streets leading up to the park if no parking in the lots. So many people brought flotation devices and enjoyed a float down the river then walked back up stream to do it again. No alcohol allowed and no hammocks allowed either. Next time I visit Denver, I will be sure to visit this park again.

A serene park on the edge of town. Would be great for yoga. It is fairly small, but connected with one of the major paths in town. The lake was iced over when I was there and was really beautiful. There were also a lot of birds that were fun to watch. The best part were the young guys in minimal shorts doing vigorous exercise; they were crazy to be in so little clothes in that weather.

This offers a beautiful shadey place to picnic with family and/or friends and to enjoy the cold creek on a hot summer day. Its a nice longer stroll from Pearl St and there are public bathrooms, picnic tables, and childrens play areas. Stone steps lead down into the creek where you can wade or tube to cool off. I recommend arriving by bike, bus, or foot as parking can be limited most summer days and on weekends.

This park was beautiful! My friends and I were visiting from MN for the weekend and were in Boulder on our way back Colorado Springs. We happen to look up Parks in our route and Eden G Fine park was one that came up with the most stars, so we checked it out. The park looks small at first but if you walk in towards the end there is a trail of the Red wood or something similar but the name has Red in it lol but if you hike UP that trail, it leads to the most beautiful view of the city! Totally worth it.
