This is an awesome place if you like horror and spooky movies and shows. There are a lot of props and sets from movies. Tom has a great horror collection. Jason and Michael and Freddy are all here. There is a small store out front. Oct brings a spooky flashlight night tour. Oct 2 is the debut of a year round haunted house.

A horror movie buff must see! I loved this little museum. It had great memorabilia and history. It is a bit small though, I think $15 a person is a bit high for the size of the museum but I am a die hard horror movie fan so I didn’t feel too ripped off. Plan to spend about 30minute here.

Was a fun little experience not too far from Vegas at a fair price. Loved seeing all the horror movie memorabilia and history. Wish there was more in the gift shop to pick from. The girlfriend and I took the tour and were left wanting more. The guy behind the counter was cool to talk with. He showed off a bunch of his work and talked about how he played tunneler in the latest Puppet Master movie.

Took my nephews and niece there on a trip up to boulder city. Just so happens it was Jason vorhees day. Got to meet one of the actors that played Jason. And even purchased an autographed Hockey Mask. Tom Devlin greeted us at the door, And was super friendly posing for photos with us. I highly recommend his museum as it is a must for any horror fan. It might not be very big , But its really cool. Theres a lot of really cool information about different horror movie actors and information on Tom Devlins movies. Tom Devlins Monster Museum is by far one of the best places you can visit for absolutely authentic and enthusiastic monster history and culture! The museum is intentionally reset periodically to showcase different themes, films, and special effects within the monster and sci-fi genres. The detailed placards throughout the museum are not to be missed as they are an absolute wealth of information on all of the amazing characters on display. Take the time to read about all of the work and dedication to the craft that has gone into not only the museum displays but also into the actual films themselves that they represent. As a lifelong fan of all things B movie horror and sci-fi related I absolutely endorse this as one of the best, most in-depth, and refined museums for this culture that I have ever had the pleasure and privilege of attending. Do yourself a favor and stop by this perfect dedication into the craft of creating the things that make your spine tingle, you will not be disappointed!!I also want to throw a quick shout out to Tom Devlin and say that it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and get the chance to talk with you all about our gloriously misspent youths back in Northeast Pennsylvania, Im glad that we both ended up far enough away that we were close enough to discuss surviving all the insanity!

What a wonderful horror experience. Went with the full scare package for this Halloween and was running for my life through the parking lot. Fully immersive experience. The actors played their scary rolls thoroughly and so much to see in between the screams. If you love the horror genre then u will love this lilmuseum of traumatic treasures. Exceeded my expectations due to me initially thinking it was going to be cheezy and small. Great place, want to go again!

Honestly, it’s $15 a person for an attraction that takes about 15 minutes to walk through. A lot of the things are recreations and aren’t actually from the sets of movies. I hadn’t heard about many of the horror movies displayed at all aside from the usual ones. It’s very dark and pictures don’t make at all, flash photography is prohibited. Social distancing was not implemented at all. It’s pretty frustrating to read the signs when a family with a 5ish year old is being read aloud to behind you and scared/screaming at all the monsters. Not recommended for young children. Honestly a gimmick, wouldn’t recommend at all.

Its a little small, but it carries a huge swath of work Tom has done, and displays so many cool and unique pieces, many of which were actual movie set pieces. They have only been open just over a year and have been doing well, theyre already working on expanding! My six year old son and I absolutely LOVE this place. We have been here several times, not only do they have a great display of awesome horror memorabilia, they have meet and greet with different actors from horror movies from time to time. My son got to meet one of the actors who played Jason in Friday the 13th.I decided to take him to their haunted house, it was his very first haunted house experience.Rightfully so, he was super nervous to enter. The woman behind the counter was super sweet and got Tom Devlins daughter to go with my son and I through the haunted house. (his daughter was such a doll!) Just like any haunted house, its super dark and there are actors. My son was crying towards the end and the actors refrained from scaring him. I appreciated this SO much. Once we came out, the ladies in the shop were all clapping for my son and the guys from the haunted house came out to check on him which was such an awesome gesture. They really made my sons first experience so wonderful and Ill never forget this!!!!!!We will keep coming back here. I love how family friendly they are.You guys rock!!!

Love horror movies, practical effects, puppetry, and no CGI? This is the place for you. As many have said the museum is FAR larger than it would seem and all of Tom Devlins creations inside are fantastic. I saw many of my favorites and learned of a few new ones! Both hand-made, full-sized creations, and lots of screen-used props. From silent films of the 1920s to modern classics, this place has it all and you can feel the love thats been put into it.When we went in late January of 2020 the price was $15 per person or $50 per if you want Tom himself to give a walking tour. We didnt know much of the place before hand, but after talking with the staff and what they do in the movie business, I wish I would have taken Toms tour. Lots of classics, lots of Troma!

I don’t usually write reviews. I have to be either super upset or something has to blow my mind. Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum did JUST THAT! I’d give this place 100 stars if I could. If you’re a horror/monster fan, this place cannot be missed. Tom’s dad (Roger) was running the museum and THAT guy absolutely rules. He’s full of fun facts, stories, and tidbits. He honestly added to and enhanced the experience. I’d give him a solid 5 stars alone! I was surprised with how big the museum was AND they’re going to be adding onto it/plan to continually change it up so it’s fresh. When I came out of the doors at the end, I was blown away. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better and then Roger introduced us to TOM HIMSELF (and his awesome work partner/artist, Robert Kern)! Such down to earth, humble people. It all felt like a dream and it was one hell of an experience. I will absolutely be back and I hope you take the time to check this place out for yourself. Worth the time, drive, and money; it can’t be overstated. Thank you so, so much for this incredible time! It honestly made our entire trip!
