An absolute hidden treasure! We took our two toddlers here for a picnic and play on the big toy before going for the scenic walk and man did we all have A BLAST! There were many many picnic tables options: covered, uncovered and even ones tucked away in more scenic areas. The play toy had really fun and unique features for a range of ages and the walk had informational stops along the path making it both recreational and educational. We searched for creatures a d critters and found quite a few! the kids were excited to come back to find more. I would be concerned about my 2 yr old walking the path if I didnt have extra people with me as there are no rails or sides and its a single slip or step off the path into the water. Beyond that, it was gorgeous and a wonderful experience all around. Well be back regularly!

Beautiful park but not very safe for running toddlers. The water is very deep and deceptive and the park has nothing stopping them from jumping into it or even putting a leg into it. I would recommend for everyone except those with small active kids.

Love this park! Make sure to walk the boardwalk trail, across the marsh/wetlands! Lots of wildlife to see! The boardwalk is stroller & wheelchair friendly! However, make sure to keep little kiddos (5 & under) close to adults, as the boardwalk IS directly over wetlands/marsh/ponds, and there are no railings, to prevent a small child from going off the side, if fall/trip/horsing around. (Water is NOT deep...only about 2 feet....but lots of tall grass etc which could make them difficult to see, if an adult didnt see where they fell in.)Covered picnic area, large FUN playground/climbing equipment/swings/slides etc.. large field for a game of touch football, soccer, Frisbee etc... clean NICE plumbed bathrooms. All around great park for spending the day at, and lots to do for all ages & abilities!

I loved walking throughout this marsh. The wooden paths are sturdy and the tail itself is well kept; no litter in sight, just a beautiful ecosystem. There are a few benches along the trails to sit and unobtrusive posts displaying information about the ecosystem and its importance.

Easy place to go on a stroll with your dogs. Some areas the boardwalk is damaged and water bleeds through. Its nice if you just want to get out of the house but nothing to really see and enjoy.

A every scenic look at wetlands. The boardwalk trail cuts through the length of this marsh park. There are a couple diversions to a bog pond and scenic swamp bit. A word of caution, the walkway moves because it floats and is not wide enough for social distancing.

I love this park. So much life in the wetlands. My 4 year old has a blast here. The boardwalk is currently in great condition. Although social distancing is pretty tough here and only about half the people were following mask guidelines.

Went here with my aunt while my mother was hospitalized. was just the place to get away from everything and take my mind off things. the long trail through a large, marshy field is well kept and sturdy. walking through to the center gives me a sense of detachment from the world around me. its refreshing.

This was honestly just an okay park, theres a kids jungle gym area right when you first pull in. Some beautiful trees surrounding the trail area, which lead you to believe your walking into something beautiful, yet instead your met with disappointment on a slightly moving bridge that leads you out to a field of grass which is on top of the pond. You may hear a few noises in the tall grass, each option you choose on the trail leads to a dead end. This place is great for the elder and small children, several picnic benches and the trail is about 1.6 miles.

Nice little park. There isnt a restroom facility but they do have a couple of portable toilets. The walking trail is a wooden trail through the bog. Sturdy in most places but there are a couple of spots that feel a little wobbly. Nice little oasis in the middle of a busy place.

Great little park. I go for the boardwalk, which is a nice out and back path through a wetland. Much prettier in the summer, when the grasses are high and tiny fish dart beneath the floating boardwalk. Some sections of the boardwalk are pretty loose on their posts, so be cautious when the path starts wiggling under your steps.

The kids loved it! Theyd never been to wetland or walked on floating boardwalks before, and they were fascinated! So nice to come at a time when there are so few people there. They should build an accessible restroom, though. Porta-potties dont cut it. Otherwise a lovely park, and a great place to access the North Creek trail.

This is a very nice park. There is a playground for kids and plenty of parking. There is a very well maintained wooden path through a wetland marsh. Its perfect for seniors that want a peaceful, easy walk. If you walk all the way to the end, and take both side paths, youll get a hike thats just under 2 1/2 miles (round trip). Youll see wildlife, too, particularly geese and ducks. The road noise is far enough away that you could almost mistake it for wind blowing through a forest, which helps to maintain the illusion that youre far from civilization.

A nice easy walk on a boardwalk through marsh land with diversions that may or may not lead to a bench. Theres signage with descriptions of the wildlife and foliage. Maybe bring your binoculars for some bird watching. On our visit we saw a Blue Heron. The area is open with little shade, so plan accordingly. The parking lot is adequate and theres a decent size playground at the entrance for the kiddos. There is also a picnic table area with porta pottys near by. We spent about an hour here, with my girlfriend exclaiming, its pretty, I enjoyed it.. Hopefully you will too!

The park situates in a residential area and has a rural feel. We only used the playground, which is right next to the parking lot, with a 4 year old. There appears to be more trails to be explored further in. But its largely obscured by vegetation, so one cant really tell. Well go back to check it out next time.

Nice place for a little stroll along the boardwalk. Lots of birds, cool plants, and other things to see. Didnt know the park existed and Ive lived in the greater Seattle area all my life.It is kid friendly, but maybe not 2-3 year old friendly though. The boardwalk did make me a bit nervous that my son might tumble off the side into the water. A year older as a more confident walker, I imagine my mind would be more at ease. Or you can put your kid in a stroller or baby sling and not worry. The playground near the parking lot however is great for a toddler. Overall its a nice park just out of earshot from a bustling suburb.

Its crazy what youd find behind peoples backyards nowadays. I was just at my friends and they mention going on this trail. Little did I know I was about to wander into something country-like and gorgeous. My first reaction was wondering how good of a place this place would be to look at stars until I realize he still live pretty close to the city so it wouldnt be any good. Regardless, great place to come for a walk, just gotta be awake of the sinking parts of the bridge and perhaps other water related issues.
