This park is beautiful. Its got a great field of prairie grass around it, a shelter, and play equipment for the kids. The open area allows room to run wild. Great place to hold an outdoor get together or take some pictures. I love it.

When I had just moved here to Boone from Denver, my dog Oso and I walked up there. Its real real nice. Nice area to picnic, the restrooms were very clean as well. As it was humid and hot, we hadnt been in humidity, we didnt stay long. We will be going in the spring.

The kids love this place. Great play ground with slides, swings etc, and there is a shelter house with several picnic tables. There are also bathrooms, and there is a nature trail.

This place isnt just a swing set. Its also an in-town wildlife preserve. Not all that big or exotic as such things usually go, but you do get to see some birds and butterflies flitting around an acre or two of prairie-type wildflowers.I live nearby, and go there often.
