Beautiful well kept park! This is my first time coming to this park and I had a wonderful experience! I was surprised with how large the running space was and they even have a play area for your dogs to run thru. There is a water tap and small and large dog area. The dogs and owners were friendly. I will definitely be visiting again!

Large park with dog park, fields for sports, and a trail for walking, jogging, and biking. My mother and I used to walk around the trail after Merrie Ukes ukulele group practice at the Bonita Library, on one edge of the park. It’s very popular so there are often a lot of people there. Still, it’s quite big, so it still provides opportunities for socially distant get-togethers.

The new dog park area is very small & with only 20 dogs it is at capacity for dogs to run & stay away from other untrained or unwatched dogs. They should have allowed a bigger space. Balboa park or Fiesta island are a much better choice. Especially when an idiot with a large pack of aggressive dogs comes in. A pack of 3-5 dogs soon become the bullies of the park. There is a nice small dog section next door.

Because its a long course where I can exercise and do my thing and it has these wooden bridges that reminds me of the Billy Goats Gruff. And each time I walk over them, Im thinking in my mind whos that walking over my bridge? Its a nice place to enjoy nature and to see all the various types of dogs out and about. Sometimes you can see a bunch of ducks along the course by the water. Its a great place.

Went for the first time last week, will definitely go back. People are friendly, great workout trying to get back in shape ( dont want the Rona, build that immune system ) the only reason the park doesnt get 5stars. You better use the before you take off three miles I barely made it.

One lap from the Rohr parking lot around the golf course is about 3.2 miles long. Many people at various levels of training come here to walk, jog, run, or bike. This has been a safe environment for exercising.

We walk/run around the park. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere and the path is easy. Mostly dirt, with some developed path and some concrete/sidewalks (north side). Periodic erosion on the south side means constant maintenance and gravel work, but its to be expected under the circumstances. Theyve got a really good dog park they recently put in. Lots of park space and covered tables.

I love Rohr Park. My grandparents used to bring me here as a child and I still love it today. Wide open spaces, great walking and jogging trail, horses, ball fields, mature trees, and its always clean. There is a small train and playground for the little ones too. Parking can be a bit challenging on weekends but its a great place to take the kids amd dog for a walk or just have a picnic in the shade.

A wonderful park for everyone to enjoy. The walk around the golf course is great, made more fun with friends hunting for a stray golf ball or two. Perfect place for a picnic. At night, when the siren from the nearby firehouse goes off, you can hear the coyotes that are in the area howling. Its a great park, especially for those who live in Bonita.

Come and visit the Chula Vista Live Steamers on Saturday between 12 and 230. Amazing experience and my son loved riding the mini trains. They’ve been there for over 40 years and if you can leave a donation so they can renew the track as there is a total cost of almost 300k for over 1 mile and a half of track.

A nice park with a lot of open grass space, trees, baseball fields, extensive sidewalk paths and two playgrounds for younger and older children. A good place to bring bikes, kites and other toys that might need wide open spaces. It can get pretty busy on the weekends of course. The only small drawback is the limited bathrooms. It can be a decent walk to get to a restroom if you are at the farther ends of the park. Bathroom is centrally located between the two playgrounds and around the rating areas.

Nice park. Has picnic tables, grills, gazebos which you can reserve, playgrounds, softball fields, basketball court, jogging/walking trail (3.1 miles), water fountains for both people and dogs, and exercise area. Park ranger office is centralized. Also a couple of ponds which attract ducks and other water birds. Can get crowded and hard to find parking. Restrooms are the only set back. Bring your own toilet paper.
