This is an amazing park, it was my favorite as a child and now that they have renovated it SO beautifully, I can bring my son here as well! With a splash pad, a toddler area, slides, tunnels and so much more you could spend hours here, not to mention the carousel and science museum!

This is a great beach to bring the family. Come during high tide if you can, and check the Beach Conditions before you go for wave heights and sea pests.Reason you want to do this is because when it’s flat and there are no jellies, it’s a great place to snorkel. The jetty has lots of sea life to observe when you snorkel. There does tend to be quite a bit of seaweed, some days are better than others. The beach is wide, lots of space to get your Zen on. It’s very safe, so bring the family.

This is my second time at Red Reef Park. The water was very rough both times and the visibility was low. I saw a barracuda, sergeant major, and schoolmaster snappers. The ocean floor has so many beautiful seashells too. It’s a small beach that has a ramp for special needs walkers and wheelchairs. It’s great because the beach is narrow and it’s not a long walk to the water. Be careful that the waves don’t push you into the rocks. The rocks are very sharp and I have a scar on my arm, so I probably needed stitches. You will enjoy your snorkeling experience for sure.

Beautiful park, friendly staff, well-maintained! This was a quick stop, but the attendee was helpful and the park was clean. The walk to the beach from the parking lot is close and the walkways were very tidy. They were improving the bathrooms when I was there, but I didnt use the facility. Would like to go back on a more sunny day and experience the beach fully. The rocks are close to the beach and they have signs warning you to keep off of the rocks, but you could see the rocks from the walkway and beach. Beautiful place!

If I could give -5 star review I would. Irene was the clerk at the front that took our money telling us that the snorkeling was good. First thing when we got to the beach the life guard told us we can’t swim past 50yards and that the conditions were horrible. We come back to the clerk 15 minutes later and asked for refund of our 20$ and they said “no” that they don’t know the actual conditions and they just write the conditions they are told to write.

Amazing beach. On our 3 day trip today was the best weather day and I am glad we got to the best beach today. blue clear water. Its the best beach so far I have been on the Atlantic ocean. It is quite place and the parking gets full pretty quickly so would advise to get hear early or if you are leaving near by hotel, they usually have shuttle which could drop you off. Make sure to bring water and refreshments. There is nothing near to buy

This is a beautiful park thats well kept. Parking is $20 for the day and if you use the chairs and umbrella, there is a $15 fee, although many people bring their own. There is a dock, plentiful parking, a playground for children and of course the beach. My only complaint is the seaweed is plentiful! I usually love getting in the water but having to wade through the seaweed is not my idea of a good time.

The $20 parking fee is well worth it. It gives you much closer access and the ability to leave and come back. Plus you can tell all the money goes right back into the park. Its a beach. If youre not a resident, parking is expensive, but theres restrooms and shady picnic tables, and Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is across the street with sea turtles and big aquariums and all sorts of things to do. Thats free, but a $5 per person donation is recommended. Back at Red Reef, theres some artificial reefs accessible from the beach, along with good swimming, skin diving and surfing, conditions permitting. Also some very cute spotted skunks (but dont feed the animals!).

Beach is beautiful and is one of my favorites! We had trouble today because two of the three walkways to the beach were roped off, but not at the beginning of the trail and there were no signs saying where to go to get to the beach so we had to trek with all our beach gear to two of the three entrances with no luck which was a long walk for someone with a herniated disc and all that beach gear. The gate attendant was helpful, but he had not been informed very well on where to instruct visitors to go. We ended up going to the third entrance which was successful. There was reported Red Tide algae, mild level, which even without asthma is a bit disconcerting to hang around. The scenery is beautiful, but we didnt stay as long as we had planned due to our concern with the Red Tide. It was a windy day with strong waves, good for body boarding, but we couldnt snorkel the reef like we had hoped. The parking is also steep. We paid holiday rate of $19 for our Honda Civic, even though veterans day was acrually yesterday. The non holiday weekday rate was posted as $17 for our vehicle class, still high for a park entry fee with in-state plates Anyways, it was still a pretty good time and the waters color and the rolling waves were glorious to watch. The local vegetation is lush and green, really pops the colors between the leaves and the brilliance of the ocean.

Red Reef Park is beautiful, clean and family friendly. It is miles long, which allows for long, leisurely walks and even for the sport routine. The facilities are great - kids playgrounds, bathrooms, picnic tables, rentable umbrella chairs, etc. Red reef park is safe life guarded and has an entry fee of $18, but is totally worth it. The City of Boca Raton & Great Boca Raton and Beach and Park District residents may purchase an annual permit for Spanish River, Red Reef and South Beach Parks. The permit fee is $58. There are many bbq pits if you want to grill your lunch, or dinner. Alcoholic beverages, however, are not allowed in the park. Pets are also not permitted in the park. We do highly recommend getting a beach chair and sitting in the water as the waves come sweeping in. #LetsGuide, #LocalGuide, #DiamondCoachLimousine, #RedReefPark

But if you went for longer I guess its not that bad. And there is in/out privileges. There is no where close to buy food or drinks along the beachWashrooms were in perfect condition-clean! I said to my friend that it was more like an office building washroom than a park washroom.

Great beach. Well worth the $17 entry fee. If you want to Snorkle and swim near the reef it is in the beginning of the entry area. If you just want a quiet stretch of beach thats not crowded drive to the end. The reef is just a pile of rocks that you can see some fish. Its only underwater during high tide so check the tide chart before heading out.

This is it go to beach place whenever we visit Boca Raton. Even though you have to cross a street to get to the beach the parking is always available and not really expensive and comparable to other parking spots around the area. Also nice views for kids with goggles and or snorkelers. There is also a life guard on duty there which is a good thing to have. Besides the beach they have public bathrooms and other pavilions for parties or quick picnics. They also have outside showers to clean off all the sand.
