We came to the Coconut Cove Waterpark and Community Center last week for vacation. Some friends of ours had told us about this place a few times, its insane that its a few miles up the road from Disneyland but hardly anyone knows it.So we decided to come here for 2 days/nights after booking Universal Studios on a Friday in late July. We had already sealed off 3 total days of vacation and needed a place to stay and something to do in SoCal for Wednesday/Thursday. We decided to give this place a try after the good reference from our friend.

Love this place. Good for families and great to have a little cool down in summer, my favorite is the lazy river.

Best, cheap, and fun for everyone . . .puppet shows, childrens theatre, storytelling, music and Mocha art workshops for the little ones. cant think of any reason to deduct a star.

The staff was kind and efficientThe facility was pretty well maintained (water was clean, chairs were clean, a few minor cosmetic repairs could be done)Our daughter absolutely loved it and so did every other kid there.My only complaint is the food was below average. I recommend eating somewhere close instead.

Would have LOVED it...but its closed for Covid-19 duration. Even though CDC says swimming is safe, guess all the slides, floats, & chairs wouldnt be! SO disappointed!

Its an okay park. Its cheap and the lazy river and the kids areas are pretty nice. Food isnt expensive for the most part. The slides are a bit uncomfortable to go down because the ridges are really pronounced. Beware of camp kids -- its a small park so they make it feel very crowded, especially in the lazy river. Come early!This is more of a last resort alternative to real water parks like Rapids. Its nice for a few hours but thats about it.

Place is good for a family time. Only down side is that you will spend about and hour at the concession stand. Employees take are very slow working and really take their sweet time to get people served.

I tried this water park one more time hoping it got better.I gave it two stars because the young lady who check us in and one life guard were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, that is all the good i can report! The whole place needs to be cleaned and have a facelift. The chairs are covered with mold and grime with many of them In disrepair. The entire area including the pool needs to be power washed at a minimum. During my visit, there were at least 10 school camps there. Each group averaged about 20 kids with minimal supervision from the school staff and/or lifeguards!! By mid afternoon , the bathroom was trashed. And the paying customers were allocated one large umbrella to sit under while the rest were reserved for the schools. So bottom line, I paid $40 for four people to get in to a dirty water park overrun with largely unsupervised kids. To be fair, i observed that there were too many kids per school adult. I believe the life guards should have been more available for crowd control. If you truly want a small waterpark fun day, take the trip to Sailfish Water Park in Stuart. Prices are the same but the amenities are so much better and the life guards keep the park safe and well controlled. The pool there is pristine

Great park for a great price! Very nice facilities (has a large lazy river, two large water slides, a nice large splash park for the younger ones and a lily pond). Also, tons of lawn chairs and shade. The park was well maintained and there were lifeguards everywhere. And you can’t beat the price. Will definitely visit again

Nice place! Fair price. Good neighborhood. Food or beverage just outside the park, they sale fast food inside. The premise looks clean, but not the bathroom.

I loved this park! The prices are very reasonable ($21 entrance fee for me and my daughter for the day), there is a concession stand with kids meals for $4.80, and small lockers you can rent for $2 plus a refundable $10 deposit. Considering its also located across the street from our community in Boca, we will never take our 5- year old daughter to the Rapids in W. Palm again which is vastly more expensive, caters to older kids, and is always jam-packed with people.

Cheap, good fun for the whole family. A couple of water slides, a good sized lazy river, water playground and inexpensive concessions too.

Fun, clean, lots of lifeguards. An adult and child comes out to about $20, which I feel is kind of pricey. No coolers or outside drink allowed.

What a filthy bathroom. I cant believe at 11 am in the morning when it opens that half of the bathroom stalls have no paper. The floor is dirty some bathrooms are already clogged up. This is unacceptable. Even the grounds are dirty. Its like they barely cleaned up from the previous day. Would never come back. Too bad cause the slides are fun for kids. But this place hasnt been maintained.

We had an amazing day, it is perfect for kids lessThan 12 years old. The reason why I do not give 5 stars is the food on-site, it is horrible. Only junk food, no healthy options. It would be nice if they would let us bring our cooler & lunches on-site, for now it is forbidden.

Great local spot, inexpensive, and I love that there are places like this around here(we just moved to Florida from PA). My boys are 8 and 10 and it’s a little young for them, but I am giving it five stars because it would have been absolute heaven for them a few years ago!

Parking lots had roaches, so did area where you eat. Concession stand lines were so long and slow. We had to stand 25 min in the sun to return a locker key! While staff waited around. Thought it would be much better but we were greatly disappointed. The park has potential!

This is a nice and inexpensive way to spend a hot day. Its good for families with kids.I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crazy crowded.

You get what you pay for. I went with small children and of course they had fun but the smell of urine was heavy in the air. There is 1 water slide, a lazy river, 1 pool, and the kiddy contraption. Thats it, but I guess that is good for a community center pool. I think I was just expecting more, I did not know it was a community center pool.

Fun water park for the kids especially and very reasonably priced. Food is geared towards teenagers It costs like $11.18 plus tax to get in. Less to get in after 3 pm. There is a small kids areas with water coming down on them and slides. There is a lazy river which is alot of fun! There is an even bigger slide for older kids and adults and there is a swimming pool. You can rent a locker for $2 I think it was with a $10 cash deposit that you get back when you return the key. Definitely a worthwhile visit to go to instead of the real expensive water park further up in Palm Beach county. Check it out!

It would be a great water park IF: the bathrooms were kept clean. No one cleans them during the day. Go as early as they open and leave if you need to use the bathroom. Who runs this place? How are the teenagers baywatch-wanna-be female lifeguards allowed to stick their swimsuits up their butts. This is supposed to be a FAMILY place. It is disgusting to see that specially where there are CHILDREN around. The food is very lame, dry and with no flavor. I never went back. Not worth it. There are plenty of better water parks out there.

The water park lets see its definitely a place 4 a mother or father to take their children 4 day out and have fun in the water you can get snacks there ice cream its a good day out for the family I recommend it

Never have kids for the drinks at the concession stand or straws. Could have more umbrellas around and clean the chairs better especially with all the birds flying around

Kiddie splash area and design of park is a great idea. My issues are the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They’re old, dirty, and in need of repair. The walk up to the bathrooms, the floor is so dirty. The entire park needs pressure cleaning on the deck.The main reason we left, was the smell of the water. With 90+ degree heat, the walk up to the water slides (over the steps/Bridge) thing smells like dirty feet and waste. Then I thought I stepped in poop or something because the smell was following me until i realized its the damn water. That was enough for me, and we left.Two water slides, they go extremely slow. There was food in the kiddie water are. The lifeguards do not pay attention so people please keep watch on your children.As I was leaving, they were shutting all the rides down 1:45 pm, because someone didn’t have a water diaper on their child and of course there was an accident.Why on earth this isn’t checked at the time the tickets are paid for I have no clue. At sailfish water park in Stuart it is asked at the time of your entrance fee and if you do not show them that you have one, you MUST purchase one. The floor is so dirty at this park that when I was in the recreation pool and kiddie splash area I can feel what feels like sand at the bottom but it’s just dirt and grind from the deck not being cleaned.Point is, it’s cheap, it’s fun for the little ones for a little bit. It gets crowded super fast by (noon), and it’s not clean. The water smell for me is unbearable.

My grandchildren totally enjoyed the activities at the Waterpark. Great place to celebrate childrens Birthday. A pleasant experience.

Kids paradise.

I visited the park on a Saturday and it was very crowded. The park is definitely geared towards kids. The water temperature was too warm for me. Thats my only negative feeling of my visit.

My kids had fun, but honestly I dont think Ill be back until the park does something about the disgusting bathrooms and other facilities. The park was seriously packed, wondered if it was within the maximum occupancy. The picnic area and tables were filthy. Garbage cans overflowing with trash, steaming in the 90+ degree heat. Flies everywhere. The bathrooms were so disgusting my kids and I preferred to wait until we left the park and found cleaner restrooms. I didnt even want to change in the ladies room, shower stalls had no curtains, so there was zero privacy. I ended up changing in the middle of the restroom at a bench that seemed like the least soiled spot in there. The water in the pool/lazy river smelled funny and not like chlorine at all. Considering the condition of the bathrooms and picnic area, its doubtful the water is any cleaner. I ended up sick and unable to hold down food for a couple of days, safe bet where I got the bug from.

The water park is very cute for little kids. This review is more of a request to administration. Most of the visitors are local families with little kids, who get enough sun during the year and would love to stay in shade .. Its not enough umbrellas. If you come only half an hour after opening its already impossible to find a spot in shade! Please add more!! We need it, the sun is brutal especially during summer.. The only spot we found yesterday at 10.40 was little shade under the tree, which disappeared within an hour.. Both of my kids and i got burned. We have a yearly pass, but with no shade we will not be able to use it

Went to visit while on a small family Vacation with Friends and Family and was very pleased with the experience, the price was a delight to pay and the children were able to enjoy themselves without intense supervision. What can get better than that...lol#cakeslikevelvetatl

Really cool place for the entire family with lots of water fun activities for kids, with onsite snack bar, spacious restooms and changing rooms with lockers.

No matter what the kids always have fun here. Just not very clean

This facility has a very shallow pool built like a beach with little slides, but it also has massive slides and a rope bridge and a lazy river ride for the older kids. They have good snack bars and nice places to sit and relax and to eat undercover. The children go home exhausted and sleep very well...then Mommy and Daddy can sleep well too!

Better for little kids but i do not recommend for children 11 and older.

My friend to her child to the park today. We were there. No more than 10 to 15 minutes. It was shut down due to weather. I understand this closure for safety reasons; however, there were no refunds not even a discussion about making amends. Gas was $25, admission was $37. $62 is a lot of money for a hard working class mom to pay. 6 hours of work to give her child a fun family day. This WAS their big vacation of the year. Shame on this place!!!!

Lots of fun for not a lot of money. They dont dig through your bag to extricate your snacks either, which is a big plus

Great family place with only 1 entry point so kids cant get easily lost. Food is over priced but worth the drive for a lazy river.

Makes for a relaxed environment for family members to cool off and enjoy the experience of a kid family water park. Prices are also reasonable for what its worth.

I called and asked if you are open or expect any closings due to weather. They said they were not expecting lighting but if there was they close down “temporarily”. I live 15 mins away. I get there and again ask if they are expecting bad weather and they again said not but there’s always possibility of closing temp with lighting in the area. I pay the approx $20 admission. My 3 year old and I go inside. Before we even have time to make it to the first slide they closed for the day? 20 mins after telling me they don’t do that. They gave rainxhexj tickets. I called to see if lighting was in the area and they said no but if there was they would “temporarily” close and they had one time earlier that day. I arrive at the park 15 mins later and they are closed the the day despite rain, thunder, logntniht and they are supposed to be open till 5pm! They gave me more temporary passed but we go out of town today and they expired before I get back so I’m just out $20. I spoke to 2 manages and they wouldn’t give me refund despite selling me tickets and literally closing 10 mins after they did. I won’t come back here again. PM if you wan to buy the tickets

I love this place for my little ones. I highly suggest to go first thing in the morning though. The bigger kids come in the afternoon and the jump all over the kiddie area pushing and playing tag. The life guards do not stop them.Also the bathrooms are disgusting! The really need to be bleached on all floors/walls.

The place is ok fun wise , but it’s disgusting. The bathrooms smells all day long . The place is filthy .. the food is horrible .. it needs major improvements.. i had very high expectations for this water park but i was let down .

Great place for a family weekend out. Not over priced and very accommodating. You cant bring outside food into the park, however there are picnic tables right next to the water park that make it convenient to bring your own food, athough the prices at concession really arent that bad either. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because they should add a little more to do for the older kids but other than that I have kids ranging from ages 3-12 and they ALL enjoyed the visit. Will definitely be coming back again.

At 3pm paid 5 minutes before weather whistle was blown. Didn’t even put a toe in the water! Park closes at 5pm. At 4pm the weather is still not letting up. NO REFUNDS OR RAINCHECKS. So we paid $40 to walk through the door. I understand policies however there is such a thing as “doing the right thing.” It’s a shame we live 2 miles away. Never going back!!!

Fun water park with lots for the kids to do. Overall cleanliness could be a bit better and it would be nice to be allowed to bring in outside food or drinks. Would definitely recommend though.

Very cool water park.. lazy river, water playground area with small water slides, area with big water slides, area to swim... They sell pizza and pretzels and ice cream. Signs say none of your own food is allowed. Would definitely recommend.

My kids love this waterpark the only negative is there are always bugs everywhere. The gnats are everywhere and my daughter came with camp and complained about wasps.

Absolutely filthy restrooms, no toilet paper in most stalls. Blood & feces on the wall in a stall. Overflowing garbage in the restroom. Lots of young teenage lifeguards, but they are more interested in flirting with each other than watching the children. They desparately need new management....and seriously need to bleach the restrooms.

Honestly, it seemed like the lifeguards werent really attentive to the customers or if they were, maybe I was over reacting but there was a tiny child, maybe 4 years old who kept falling out of her tube and panicking. I kept putting her back in her tube and I told several different guards that I had no idea to whom the girl belonged and she was having serious difficulties and needed to be it of the lazy river but the lifeguards essentially dismissed me.I did see then do the lifeguard awareness test with the floating baby dummy and the young lifeguard was cleaning his glasses, not paying attention, it so I thought. As soon as that baby came sound the bend the lifeguard had in out of the water in less than 5-10 seconds. Very impressive.

The place is good, the customer experience is ok, but they allowed to many camp at the time and all the shape area are just for the camp. No shape available for the visitor except the food area.Food option is limit nothing healthy available..(not fruit or vegetables or healthy sandwich...nothings )

A refreshing spot to take the family for summer. The lazy river is pretty long given the overall size of the park. The play set is really great. There are also a few waterslides. This park is geared towards older kids, though. If you only have tots you might consider other alternatives. The price is fair for both admission and food. If you wish to eat or drink anything not purchased inside then there are picnic benches outside as there is a strictly enforced no food or drink policy. Also, the buildings could use some remodeling. The biggest reason I have it a four star not five star review is because something needs to be done about the floors within the pools. They are very prickly and tore through the skin on the pads of my toes. I understand that there needs to be some sort of texture to be able to get a grip as you are walking, but this the worst pool floor surface I have encountered.

I am not into big water parks as I feel the small ones are more intimate. I Enjoy coming to this water park. Very appropriate for all ages my since they have opened when i was in high school my whole family woud get togther for summer holidays and enjoy the park we now that i have graduated from grad school we still enjoy this park togther and our family has grown

I didnt have too bad of an experience. I could not really enjoy the park like I wanted to it was me and my 8 year old daughter and my 8 month old daughter. Having the baby there and all of her stuff I felt very uncomfortable leaving the stroller and not being able to see it. I could have left it in the car but it was convenient. If she fell asleep where would I put her down etc. My 8 year old couldnt find a kid to play with so she didnt enjoy it as much. If I wouldve thought about it I would have invited a friend for her to play with.Ive seen a few posts about how run down the place was which i why i avoided the bathrooms and concession altogether. I agree it is not well maintained. Ive seen people say for kids up to 12 yo. I would definitely agree. We enjoyed it but I dont think well be coming back unless they clean up and maybe add to their little water park.Theres a blue slide and a red slide. My daughter said the red slide was super slow going down and the line for the red one was longer than the line for the blue slide.

This park is great. Always clean as well. The only thing i did not appreciate is that Ive been taking my son on the weekend and they always ask me his age, this past Saturday the girl in the infront didnt even bother to great me or ask me his age and charged me extra when hes only 2 years old and when I told her his age she kind of shrugged it off and told me she had already charged me and there was no refund. I wasnt going to argue at a childs water park with my toddler pushing me to finally enter the park so he can play. I do think thats very rude for not asking me his age and over charging me. My only complaint about the establishment

I would have given it 5 stars if it werent for the restrooms being so disgusting. How often do they clean them?! Also no Toilet paper so bring your own I guess!

Beautiful, clean facility. Decent food even for a public park! Excellent for big kids right down to young toddlers--and a couple of big slides for adults too.
